Pienaar back in january, if we need a creative midfielder i think he's the right choice great player for us and knows he made the wrong choice by leaving, good replacement for arteta i believe {Ed025's Note - i dont think he can replace arteta...but maybe bily..

He is another saha good wen not injured

Agree0 Disagree0

He's only been injured since he joined Spuds. He's worth a punt & I'd welcome him back. BUT he will need to make it public that he made a terrible mistake in leaving our great club... AND take a cut in what he's earning down South. {Ed025's Note - at the moment, i dont think we are in a position to dictate to players who want to join us...if he does?,,

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a fair point Ed, but he was among the first on the team sheet week in week out and always put a shift in. I think over time it's Peanut we'll miss rather than Arteta. I think it's a deal both parties would be willing to sit down and discuss. Pienaar when fit wants first team football, which he won't get down there. We miss his incredible link up play with Baines. {Ed025's Note - i cant argue with most of what you say mate...except the bit about peanuts being missed more than arteta..

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we'll agree to disagree. I was as gutted and shocked as everyone at his sudden sale. But since he signed his big money deal, we only ever saw glimpses of the player he was prior to his injuries. Put it this way, I still feel sick whenever I see Pienaar in a spurs shirt. The feeling I get when I see Mikey in a red shirt is one of frustrated acceptance. Maybe I just know Pienaar deserves better but with Mikey it's that he's found his level, playing regularly in the Champions League which is where he belongs. {Ed025's Note - i get very worried when our best players are leaving, rats deserting a sinking ship and all that, but i never felt that way about mikel..

Agree0 Disagree0

The way I look at it is... Everton are in snirt of a mess financially so I think if this Pienaar deal does.materialize in January I think we should push for it, yes it may be hard for some of us blues to accept but (me personally) would love to be getting results and if it takes him to come back to add that extra flair down the flanks then I'm up for it. I know a lot of you would frown on it but at the moment is even accept Lescott the troll back :-( and I am sorry for making that public.

Stevie p was all work but no end product he was gash b4 everton n gash now..means bainsey made him look better than he is {Ed025's Note - i happened to like the guy....but i think he made a big mistake..

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly ed, I think he will look back at his decision about leaving Everton in the future and will kick.himself.
Bainsey did make pienaar look good but i think they made eachother look great! One if the best partnerships I've seen for a good good while x

everton are going to resign pienarr for nothing because spurs want to get rid of him {Ed025's Note - if he was to sign, would he be able to regain the respect of the supporters?..

dont want 2 depress us evertonians but done some research on the jain group and theres loads of them and also indians making comments about them saying they havent got as much money as people think and that they would never invest in english football!

Believable18 Unbelievable23

I dont think anyone had really got their hopes up, its always bulls**t where BK and everton are concerned. Also someone on grandoldteam emailed Jain Group and got a response from the company director saying they will be making an official statement today

Agree0 Disagree0

If u dont believe me google it and u will see for yourself! {Ed025's Note - i believe you mate....but not the rumour..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed. Apparently it all hangs on the stadium/football quarter issue. I think some people are getting the wrong Jain Group {Ed025's Note - unless i hear something concrete mate...i am dismissing it..

Anyone else think we are in a bit of a dilemma for January?
Most likely, we'll only get some of the money from the Arteta sale but what do we go for? We badly need a striker who can score goals every game but we also badly need a creative player in midfield to replace Arteta who we have been missing.
What does everyone think our first priority should be?

Believable2 Unbelievable16

Creative midfielder. we dominate games in midfield which made it tough for us to lose. now we lose the ball too much in midfield without making inroads. saha is world class with enough support. lewis holtby...

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sick of this lewis holtby talk, never heard of the lad until the summer, so what if he supports everton, theres more chance of us re signing pienaar

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think we need a striker, i think we have a ready made goal machine in Drenthe if played up top alongside Vellios or Saha, we need a creative spark. Although we need wins, we need to go back to Moyes basics, clean sheets, use a holding striker, Vellios and have a speed merchant Drenthe to nick a goal. Its not entertaining but this year i dont think we can be.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a striker like defoe or bent who will bang them in for fun

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a hard one but think really as much as we do need a creative mid think we do make enough chances most games just have no one to finish them off so think thats the most important thing right now

Agree0 Disagree0

YEAH GO FOR DEFOE AND ALSO GO FOR ANDERSON BOTH AROUND FEE OF 15 MIL BBUT KENWRIGHT WONT INVEST {Ed025's Note - go for anderson???...do you mean the waste of space who plays for united?, if you do....please seek professional advice from a psychiatrist ..

Agree0 Disagree0

U know what should never have sold beckford y we sell him its doing my head in y beckford plz cum bk {Ed025's Note - do you think he would have made a difference mate....he cant get in the leicester side!, i did not want to see him go....but i dont want him back, if that makes sense?

Agree0 Disagree0

So y we got rid of beckford what a joke best 4 ward we had {Ed025's Note - he could not fit into the moyes system rob...but then again..who can?

Peter Reid will take over has manager his assistants is McAllister and Kidd.

No money is available

Will have to sell. {Ed025's Note - i dont think moyles will leave his breakfast show....and i expect moyes to remain at everton..
