Dont be suprised if Andy Johnson comes back to us. Heard this in january by someone who knows him.

Believable7 Unbelievable34

I think not, right or wrong, no one crosses moyes, and gets a second chance.

Agree1 Disagree0

Andy Johnston left Everton as he and his wife couldn't settle in the North West .I doubt very much that has changed . Stranger things have however happend in football

Agree0 Disagree0

Got told this the end of the season as he's on a free and we need cover

Agree0 Disagree0

No, we need another goal scorer, and he isnt

Agree1 Disagree1

Id have him back think hed suit jelavic

Agree0 Disagree1

I know his Mrs... This is not happening... Unless Everton let him stay south most of the week... Or move South themselves...

I was speaking to an ex-pro last night who has a few EFC connections.

Apparently Naughton, Siguroarson & Pienaar are our targets. Maybe another loan or two after those.

Yobo & Big Vic are leaving to fund the deals.

Believable18 Unbelievable21

I'd be happy with if nobody else left. {Ed025's Note - me too..

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Pienaar will definitely come, the other two would be really nice as well, although, I still don't think right back is a major issue, for me the issues are Pienaar and the opposite wing at the moment, currently we have 3 players that can play at RB in Hibbo (who I think wasn't that bad last season), Nev and Coleman.

Agree0 Disagree0

RB may not be an issue, but it IS our weakest position. It needs to be improved (obviously Pienaar is most important).

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather improve right midfield than RB! Neville and Hibbo have still got a season or 2 if people like it or not and with us having no money it seems a bit pointless getting a RB in!

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes likes Big Vic so he wont sell him...yet,maybe in a year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Right midfield is our weakest position - if we had pienaar on the left and a good player on the right we'd be flying - a real threat to anyone

Agree0 Disagree0

How is RB our weakest position when we have 3 recognised RB's in our squad, and yet have no out and out right wingers? (And Osman IS NOT a winger)

Agree0 Disagree1

Pienaar isn't a traditional winger. Moyes plays a system of overlapping fullbacks, so Osman tucking in and allowing the overlap of a fullback like Naughton would be a mirror image of what happens on the left. I love Hibbo for all his failings but a young athletic fullback with an end product would utilise the system better.

Agree1 Disagree0

Love your spelling of Sigurdson mate, best one yet, I cant spell it either lol

Degsy

Agree1 Disagree1

"RB may not be an issue, but it IS our weakest position. It needs to be improved"

wtf? lol

Hibbert is a really solid defender, he's not super quick and he's rubbish at distribution when he goes forward but tbh 90% of teams in the Premiership don't have right backs who are lightning quick and good at going fowards as well as defending.

We have really limited funds, a right back isn't and shouldn't be our main priority in this window. Pienaar, a right winger and AM or CM (if moyes will keep Fellaini as the AM) should be our priorities.

Agree1 Disagree1

Nothing will happen till after the euros and nobody but moyes and the tight fisted board know who he wants . we can all speculate and give our opinion but the truth is that we don,t know what cash the big man has . we ave a good squad and good youngsters comin through the academy which is alot more than you can say for the others ... take a look at our youngsters comin through and give them a chance. we have some right gems ... imwt

Agree1 Disagree0

Degsy, im not the original poster but just thought id lett you know his spelling is correct, his full name is Björn Bergmann Sigurðarson, there is no 'd' is the lads name, its just pronounced by everyone outside of scandanavia as a 'd' but from what i heard from a few friends i have out in norway and watch tromso alot, they said hes the real deal, alot better than the likes of skjelbred and henriksen who have come through recently, but they all say its all but done that he will sign for everton. 2 million rising to 3

Agree0 Disagree1

I love the implication of the poster that the 1 or 2 people at the club who actually know who the targets are go around telling anyone who will listen who they are going to sign!

Demba ba has a 7mill buyout cluse starting today for two months also naismith in talks mot sure were its goin an also the iclelandic lad any idea who manny fernades has sighned for ed? Nsno neil {Ed025's Note - not heard nothing yet neil..he is apparently going to announce it on twitter..

Believable3 Unbelievable16

Would love Demba Ba Neil but clubs offering bigger wages will be in for the lad

Degsy

Agree1 Disagree0

If we couldn't afford Ba's wages last season, we definitely cant afford them after the season he has had, and to be honest, we don't really need someone for that price on this kind of wages just to back up Jelavic (as Moyes will of course only play 1 striker)

As for Naismith and the Icelandic lad, I have heard there is serious interest in both, but until Pienaar is all sorted, I wouldn't expect those 2 to be signed, all money will be going on Pienaar, I really don't understand why Everton fans find it hard to believe.

We have realeased 5 players mucha hanheman mcfadden drenthe & staq. so one thing we do know is we have wage budget for 5 players. Gk possibly gordon
,fernandes for mcfadden lukaku. for straq donovan or johnson for dtenthe plys piennar permanent looks a stronger squad

Believable7 Unbelievable17

Every player that you named would have higher wages than the ones we have released. Infact they would be quite a lot more

Agree0 Disagree0

REAL WORLD TIME

Gordon would want 50k at least

McFadden was on pay as he played and probably only 25K - Fernandes would want 60K so that's a non starter

Agree1 Disagree0

Mucha hasnt been realeased

Bad news guys

Chelsea are in for Fellaini, £17 million plus Lukaku on loan

Baines is being lined up by United, fee around £12 million {Ed025's Note - you forgot to mention, hibbert to barcelona, straight swap for messi..... well you started it..

Believable2 Unbelievable44

We bought him for £15 million, he's twice the player he was then, if we let him go for anything less than £22/25 I'll be gutted and it will b a Stupid decision by the board!
Plus £12 million for the best left back in the country! Minimum I'd take is £15, more like £20!
Mickey Blue Eyes {Ed025's Note - i agree mickey..it would have to be stupid money for them two to leave..

Agree1 Disagree1

These red sh*tes should stick to their own forums instead of posting here. Felli for £17m? Just because they have gone back to the 80's to sign up Ted Rogers as their new manager doesn't mean we will be selling top players for 80's prices. Cheers Ed for displaying their posts, keeps me laughing all day.

Agree1 Disagree0

This is a lie because Baines said he's staying at everton ......and we would want alot moe than £2m profit on the £15m we bough FELLAINI for , or if Chelsea didn't come to everton with that offer we would at least sign Lukaku on a permanent contract not on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't seen any report where Baines said he is staying - in fact he seemed to dodge the question in his latest interview. I don't want him to go, but it doesn't sound good at the moment. We need to make sure we get his true value if he goes, which must be more than the overrated Phil Jones, so £20m+

Agree0 Disagree0

Man utd will go for a younger cheaper left back like alba, alaba, cissoko or that young lad from copenhagen Fact!

Agree1 Disagree0

Alba is off to barca and prefers to play left mid to left back, alaba is in the first team at bayern, cissoko isnt younger than baines and not as good, the young lad from copenhagen that you dont even know the name of has agreed a deal with werder bremen when you realise his name and google search it you will see ;), so basically that post is BS!! baines had an interview where he said the interest from united is flattering as they are a big club but hes already at a big club and its a club he loves, that if you ask me is yeah great a major team want me but evertons my team, your talking 18 million plus for him, 17 million plus torres and you probably have a deal for fellaini

Agree1 Disagree0

Baines didnt dodge the question, he said he is focusing on euro's, he also said he loves it at everton or why would i leave cant remember which now but i seen and read the interview...... how is that not lookin good?
toffeeblue

Agree0 Disagree1

Baines is never a 12 mil player if that knob carroll is worth 35 mil banies an felli are in the 30 mil bracket each at least your chatting bull

Agree1 Disagree0

Fella cost 12mil. it was 15 mil in euros

Agree0 Disagree0

75m for the pair is more of the range we should be looking for.

Agree1 Disagree0

It was £15 mil not euros
