Unless leo messi was christened, lionel brown messi then i wouldn't want any brown haha
id take 20 million for rodders to be honest, hes rolls roycey when he plays, really silky but he is only good when arteta and fellaini are both there doing everything so he can just concentrate on him, i rekon we could get a better player like, scott brown at celtic or scotty parker, someone creative but still got that steel needed for the prem, though i did just get that email going round about nugent too ed? {Ed001's Note - I don't think I got that, unless it is the one that is regularly floated around about him going to Everton in the next transfer window? I have to say I wouldn't rule it out this time, it could well be the striker reinforcement. The only way you have a chance of getting Parker would be if West Ham went down, if they do he will probably end up at Spurs though. Brown has apparently picked up his game a bit and Celtic wouldn't want to sell, but he would be much more attainable than Parker.}

yeah true, but that brown would surely only cost pennies? 3 million at most, yeah the nugent one is hes done deal, free transfer from portsmouth, he out of contract, and a blue, but so is joey barton so why arnt we getting him haha hows nugent doing in the championship? might be a good move? yeah parker seems to do well down south, like woodgate does well up north can't see him leaving west ham really, i did hear that utd might want howard back and all, i always thought they wanted that dutch lad from ajax? ed? {Ed001's Note - I am just dubious about the Nugent one because I hear it every window, but it does actually seem to be a real possibility this summer. He has been having a good season, but maybe it is just that the CCC is his level? As far as I know United are bringing in De Gea, never heard of any interest in a return for Howard. The Stekelenburg rumours are purely because VDS recommended him to the club.}

ive heard de gea aswell ed, also heard the howard one too but yes wes browns on his way according to manure fans, nugent we hear every year all year, i say just try it see what happens, hes on a giro wage and free :) winner, can't be as bad as saha, the 6 good games every two years striker we pay 50 grand a week to can it ed? {Ed001's Note - good point and he would run himself into the ground for Everton. Can't be any worse than Anichebe or Vaughan have become. What happened to them? They looked so talented as kids and it seems to have vanished into thin air.}

Id say if any ex player gets it then it would be dave jones personally id just give it ferguson and get him to knock the wins out of them haha is it certain moyes is off though yeah? ed? {Ed001's Note - I would have said Jones would be the most likely myself, but I heard that Speed was very highly thought of. I don't know why, nice enough bloke, but he hasn't actually done anything yet as a manager, but sometimes taking a chance can work well. But I thought he was disliked by the Everton support? I remember my uncle singing about him being a s***house when another uncle asked him what he thought of Speed. He nearly died of embarrassment when he found out he was being asked because he was sat next to his parents though! If Ferguson wanted the job I think he would be a very interesting appointment - you can bet your life the players would not lack effort!}

im with the ed on this one ferguson would certainly have them running round after everysecond ball and playing with passion, only problem is, would he turn the likes of fellaini and beckford who are already tempremental worse haha, i don't want to see screech knocking people sensless haha dave jones would be a good choice if moyes left, reid not so much, passionate yes but ability to get the best out of the beckfords and artetas and cahills i doubt it, nah gary speed is a rat {Ed001's Note - why do you think he is a rat? He is an Everton fan, he only left because of personal differences with the management.}

i know snowy was on county rd after the game but why would he tell you reidy was getting the job? isn't he struggling with plymouth, don't get me wrong id love him at everton but more as a player in his hay day haha
you heard anything on this ed? {Ed001's Note - nothing mate, I think it is more likely to be a certain Mr Speed if any ex-player gets the job. But that is very unlikely to be for a season or two yet.}
