. apparently Moshiri is a big admirer of Ronald Koeman. & should Bobby bull be sacked in the summer, then Koeman would be his first choice for the job!

Soli can't see the clueless Bobby getting sacked even if moshiri wants him gone because he would need Bill and woods to agree with him and Bill clearly behind inept Bobby after what he said after Chelsea match really hope I am wrong and Bobby given the sack sooner rather than later.

Koeman would be an exellent choice and would love him as manager. As for Bill let's hope on this ocasion he can be persuaded to see sense and sack Roberto whatever happens in the cup.
Maybe Kenright is just being diplomatic as he does not want to rock the boat till the end of the season, let's hope so.

{Ed002's Note - I would not get your hopes up about that at all.}

Hi Ed what is your take on the Roberto dilemma do we go for another manager in the summer he looks to have lost the plot to me (don't really know if he ever had it in the first place) when he first came I was chuffed really thought we had found the perfect manager but I have now had enough how long do you think our new regime in the boardroom put up with this before something is done, thanks GuernseyBlue.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Everton making any efforts at this time to look for a new manager. I suspect that there will be discussions at the end of the season and the club will consider what options it has. Those discussions may well include Roberto Martinez. If there were to be a change I would think that David Moyes would be considered. Much will also depend on who is available and I suspect Premier League knowledge would eb a big plus point. I cannot see Benitez being interested and if Newcastle drop down there is a job waiting for him elsewhere. Pellegrini's destination is not confirmed by my ex wife has suggested Zenit will be looking to make him an offer during April. There remains a chance that Mancini will be available. As a wildcard Jorge Sampaoli or even one of the up and coming managers from Europe might be worth considering. I think Gary Neville might be interested but I am far from convinced he would be a good choice.}

Thanks for the reply Ed what about Jose or do you think he might be a bit of a loose canon, cheers GuernseyBlue.

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid I don't see Mourinho as a viable option for Everton.}

Ed002, I didn't even read to the end of your post, David Moyes! are you actually for real?

Nice response from Ed002. I think that you have to look at this from Moshiri's viewpoint. He is a business man and so his take on this will not be the same as luvy Bill. He will take his time to assess the situation with the club, wait until the end of the season and see what the league position and how we did in the FA cup. If he has any doubts about Martinez at that stage I can't imagine him letting Martinez spend significant funds on new players. Who is available will also play a big part in the outcome. It is going to be an interesting time to see how Moshiri plays this one out. One thing is certain and that is many more performances like the one today and big changes are to be expected.
The one thing that to me stands out about this team is the apparent lack of fitness. The poor finishes to games provides ample evidence of this. On average I believe that each player runs about 10k or just over 6 miles per game. This is nothing and they have over 90minutes to do it with a rest at half time. Even I when I was younger used to run about 5 miles a day and then did a days work. Now we here bitching and moaning if we have to play two games a week. These are young athletes so we are led to believe and should be fit. I know what I would do after a performance like the one against Arsenal, get them in and run them into the ground.

Yo be fair to ed 002 moyes would correct the issues introduced by rm and there is not a catalogue of options. He has been shrewed with transfers and would be a sensible choice to pick players to invest in through the summer. i'm not saying moyes as a long term option but would be a good sit and wait option with a one year contract. A strong base is vital in this league, and I thinkmoyes is hard done by. I saw a suggestion about koeman on here and I would be happy with that.

Any chance of Laurent Blanc ed002? Can't see him staying at PSG forever in the hope that they might win the CL some day. Would be a great choice in my opinion, might be tempted to test himself in the prem.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I am sorry but no chance. It would be fair to say that he nearly left last summer and you are right that he will not be staying there forever, but he won't be moving to Everton I am afraid.}
