If and it's a big if, Martinez were allowed to spend any of it should he be sold, the price of any player to us will go through the roof. A more likely outcome if he is sold is that he won't be able to spend anything this window and come the next window the money will, as per usual at Everton, have disappeared.

I think the chelsea bid for stones is a cheeky attempt to write off whatever money we owe them for Lukaku against John stones , the lads best interests should paramount in this saga , and in my opinion the best thing for his career is staying at everton ,young centre halves simply do not get given an oppertunity in the premier league unless they are exceptional , so the fact that stonesey has got some 50 games under his belt at 21 is astounding , his progress will grind to a halt at chelsea , and they will aimply cast him aside with no regard for his future career if he is not a superstar immediately .
