Didn't see that one coming Howie and our supporters moan about our transfer dealings, I wonder what Chelsea supporters are thinking about this, I'm happy with Cenk and Theo just get that elusive LB in and we will all be happy.

Skysports reporting that we intrested signing Bayern left back Juan bernat on loan as he is third choice behind David alaba and rafinha don't know much about him but got to be better than what we have know available right know.

We need to look to offload some players, I am no Nostradamus, but I can see Sam trimming the squad and would not be surprised when doing so, he adds Luke Garbutt to the new squad, also with Coleman and Keane due back, I can see him trying Kenny out at left back.
If we do get a few off our books, then I can see another two coming in max late on.
Personally I think our next transfers will be out going.

Looks like naismith is off to hearts. Good luck to him. Was a decent player for us. Busy, annoying, always remembered for his hat trick against Chelsea.

Steve Walsh had sent a scout to watch Marcel Halstenberg but it is hard to see him being available in January nor being interested in a move to a club without Champions League prospects. Sam Allardyce will no doubt have some ideas as well.}

Everton won't broadcast who they are after mate, does not mean there is no interest in any LBs or any body else to improve our team.

Agree, GB just find it hard to believe after all this time knowing that we need a left-back that we are sending scouts out to look at players. I know it is difficult to recruit in the January window but this need should have been addressed by now.

Any truth in the Bernat link or is it just the Liverpool Echo hoping or linking us with anyone to make a better newspaper?
I got one was hoping for Kurzawa from PSG, but I reckon Bernat could be an even better signing.
