A customer of mine, is on the birmingham youth team coaching team. Butland has already agreed a 3 1/2 year deal with liverpool. Will be announced this week. Hence dropped for FA cup match so not cup tied.
The deal is I aren't coming for 3 and a half years ?????

The papers mention interest from QPR, Spurs and Rubin Kazan ... We cannot compete with those three in terms of sign on fees and wages. Forget this rumour.

L'Equipe say we are in for Younes Belhanda from Montpellier, as he is not signing a new contract. He is one of the best CAM's in Europe who can also play out wide.

Firstly, there's no need to go via London to SOUTHampton.
Secondly, since when did the team start travelling by train seperately to games?
Thirdly, they don't travel to games three days in advance when they're in the same country! {Ed025's Note - if he was there (which is not certain ) he could have been meeting his agent, or sponsor, or a number of things...why do we look for negatives, or conspiracy theories all the time, time to get a grip fellas..
He wouldn't travel without the team so many days before the game via London...

Why can't someone bring something they've heard to the table for a bit of discussion rather than havin the p!$$ taken?
I think it's a bit strange that they may travel to speak with an agent, or just to do a bit of sightseeing a few days before a game when the rest of the boys are training.
Remember being on a Lime St - Euston train prior to a cup final with Howard Kendal and Nev Southall, the rest of the team travelled seperately ...

Everton will launch a YouTube channel at the start of preseason training, to let the fans get inside the the training ground. Unsure of the name yet but probably simple like EFCtv or something.
Similar to what Spurs, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain already do.

Now and again I watch the tunnel cam from the city games, they are quite good tbh, show everything from the tunnel from when the teams turn up, til they go out for warm up, before kick off, half time and after the game! the everton game this season shows lescott and quite a few of our boys in the tunnel talking for a long period of time

I hate it when I see posts like this but here I go......(This is fact though)
Someone I know went to Filton college with Jack Butland and both Everton and Newcastle are in the hunt for him. Everton is his preferred choice but Newcastle will table a 4 mil bid this week. We have a chance with this one as it appears Birmingham will take a reduced payment with further installments.
If we have money then we don't need to waste it on another GP
Need to think longer term and at the right price is a good investment. What do you think Ed? {Ed025's Note - he is a very good prospect...but for me we have more need of a DM, and a striker...but if we have the cash for him, then fine, but not at the expense of our top priorities..

according to Greg O'Keeffe we have about £2m to spend enough for a couple of loans.
