Believable6 Unbelievable4

Cahill's recommended him but would he actually be worth it? My guess is no.

swansea nathan dyer everton looking at him

Believable7 Unbelievable8

You sure he is not looking at Danny Dyer, he looked tasty in The Mean Machine with Vincent Jones. Gizmo

Agree6 Disagree1

He wouldn't want to come to us the only way we would pick him up is if Swansea get relegated at end of the season and tbh I dont rate them to, there's still a possibility they could but I dint think they will

Agree1 Disagree4

I wish

Degsy

Agree1 Disagree2

Wouldn't mind him to be quite honest

Agree1 Disagree1

Sadly, word is he'll be signing for the other shower, who have already had a £5million bid turned down.

I've heard rumours felliani is off to juventus fro around 18-20 million!

Believable4 Unbelievable16

Just signed a new contract..!

Agree1 Disagree1

Where has one heard these rumours?

Agree1 Disagree3

Skysports paper talk yesterday

Agree1 Disagree5

I've heard it a few times, my mate said a few weeks ago that we would be getting Gibson as juventus are getting felli, then i was speaking to my dad before and he said the same thing, and just I was looking at the rumour section on sky sports and it's now on there as well! I'm not sure about it myself I'm just saying what I've heard really

Agree5 Disagree1

Brilliant gibson 4 fellaini...

Agree1 Disagree1

Utter b****cks

Agree7 Disagree1

I've got 'meet attractive young men'...taxi! (Wavertree Blue)

Agree1 Disagree0

Would hope rumours of Fellaini to Juve for 20m and Billy to Wolfsburg for 5m are real. Then Moyes should go for L.DeJong for 15m, N,Onuaha for 2m, and S.Pineaar for 3m. That for me would be good buisness.

Agree2 Disagree2

I wouldn't take Peanut back on a free, never mind paying more than we sold him for! You've made your bed Stevie, at least that Spurs bench looks comfy.

Are rumours on Weir and Campbell true Ed? I mean to be completely honest their not that bad for cover for Jags and Distin...r they?
AzZaSt3v3 EfC {Ed025's Note - yes they are bad!..

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Cant believe what i am reading here, they were good players in their day but they are not premiership players or even championship players, , please dont bring in old ageing players ,we have been there before under walter smith {Ed025's Note - i agree..

Agree1 Disagree1

Talk on other sites is that weir is being linked to cardiff city and swindon.

Agree1 Disagree1

I agree, Duffy should be given a chance.....would not prove great motivation for our youth to pull in a 41yr old instead of giving them a chance.

Agree5 Disagree0

Weir is not coming to Everton

The Shadow

Agree4 Disagree0

We gonna give Richard Gough another crack if we sign Weir?

I think it's more likely Weir to us as a coach (not a player - although he might be registered since we have about 6 slots free and its an option if all our defenders and youngsters got injured... Moyes might as well register himself though)

Agree1 Disagree1

Listen, i'll play before they do. and I'm 40 myself!! surely better goalies in our team who can defend better than them 2 old has beens!

17 Jan 2012 18:02:45
Oh can't bloody believe it. Sky announce that David Weir at 41 is joining an English club this week. hhhmmm let me guess which bloody one, F IN Joke

Believable7 Unbelievable4

I'd much rather Weir come as player / coach than Sol Campbell! {Ed025's Note - i dont want any..

Agree1 Disagree4

This cant be true it just cant, omg if he came back and actully played it would surelly go down as the weirdiest thing to happen to us.Nothing against weir but hes 41 and nearlly 42 in may, forwards in the prem (except carroll) would run rings around him..Terry blue

hello everton fans, i live in sweden, and i can confirm rasmus elm is set to join you. it was in the swedish papers this morning, saying he would sign before end of this month.

Believable10 Unbelievable5

He is linked to united so that's that one dead.

Agree1 Disagree5

Looked into this myself, I found this article on imscouting.com..

Swedish newspaper Expressen has claimed that Rasmus Elm was on Merseyside discussing a move to Everton on Friday, but a number of clubs are interested in the Kalmar FF midfielder.

Rasmus Elm was on the scoresheet again yesterday, claiming a 75th minute penalty in the 3-1 win over Brommapojkarna in the Allsvenskan, just a day after meeting with Everton manager David Moyes.

According to Expressen, Elm travelled with his mother, his girlfriend and his adviser Carl Fhager to Liverpool and was shown around the club.

The 21-year-old midfielder, one of the stars of the Swedish side that reached the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championship earlier this summer, is in demand.

Fulham have long been interested, Valenciennes have submitted a bid that was rejected and yesterday scouts from Ajax and PSV watched Elm in action.

Carl Fhager told Expressen: "Everton are one of several clubs interested but it is far from the only option."

Elm refused to be drawn on his future after yesterday’s match: "It is not impossible that I leave now, it is not impossible that I will stay." Video evidence of Rasmus Elm can be seen on the video below.

Rasmus Elm - AZ Alkmaar

Agree1 Disagree1

He is 23 and played for AZ so that is 2 years old!!

Agree1 Disagree1

Thats correct he rejected us in 2009

Agree1 Disagree0

On Im Scouting, if you read it properly. It stated he met with the club on Friday 09/07/2009. Get a life

Agree1 Disagree1

Sorry, my bad. Didn't think to check the date because the link on google had january 2012 attached to it as that was one of the specific details I included when I searched.

Agree1 Disagree0

I have Duncans boots and his others are in the Everton shop in town but if he wants them back he only has to ask..Stef Old Swan.

Agree1 Disagree0

Everyone moaned about Richard Gough when we first signed him but he turned out to be a revelation.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah but Richard Gough was 38 and its too big a step up now. The pace of the game has changed so much!

ssn says David Weir is on the verge of terminating his contract with Ranger so he can continue playing in England. No doubt he will be our cover for Jags. I hope it will be just to fill a seat on the bench or just to offer advice to Duffy and others in training. I can live with that and it will also allow Moyes to concentrate on bringing in a striker.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

He is 41 years old.. I seriously doubt he will be joining us.

I see Edson Buddle is having a trial at Goodison. Not really sure what to make of this one... He looks like he's got good feet combined with good finishing on the goals I've seen. On the other hand, he's yet another 30 year old currently playing in a second division German side, where his goal scoring record isn't that great. It's good that we're doing something I suppose but it sounds like another sideways pass to me. Very mixed feelings on this one...Only time will tell I guess.

Wizard of Osman

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I suspect Landon Donovan might have recommended this guy. {Ed025's Note - sounds right to me..

Agree1 Disagree1

Nothing to loose i suppose, if hes rubbish then no harm done, if hes half decent then we have an extra body up front

Agree0 Disagree2

Probably. He's got the same agent as Donovan and Howard. Lets hope Buddle is as good as them!

Wizard of Osman

in order for everton to be sold the depth must be brought down safty measures for the stadiom must be met in the region of 20 mill the club brand has to be turned into profit new sponsorship needed and the shareholders need to drop the asking price witch is to much at 150 mill along with all these other measures makes this alot more complicated all these issuses get brought up when disscusing the club sale . so maybe after kenwright is not intirely to blame here the clubs depth shuld be at 35mill now considering players sold if the club could be sold in the region 50 to 55 mill we would be sold by tea time .an articale i read posted on 13 1 2012.ps gren and the other shareholders must take blame aswell .

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Tried to figure out what depth had to do with anything, then realised it should be "debt"

Agree4 Disagree2

Depth, stadiom = Kopite

How many times have i got to say this on this site we need Green cos he is the guarantor with the banks...Bill cant borrow anymore cos hes spent up...but Green is still on good terms with the banks...so whether you like him or not hes the one keeping the banks at bay ! (and relax)

Agree3 Disagree1

Heard a rumour 'David Wier' is set to join us until the end of the season as centre half cover!.... (then take up a coaching role)

Agree1 Disagree1

Everton will b sold green is a proper businessman blues value will only sink they sell in next year no sense in holdin out for more money as for kenwright his legacy depends on it last chance, to make amends with fans

Agree3 Disagree1

Is Robert Elstone posting on this site now?! That excellent spelling and grammar matches his business sense perfectly.

Any news on Djalo Ed, Like whether hes going
to Villa or somewhere else? Would be a great
signing if his wages arent to demanding, Him
and Kalou in this window and i will be very very
pleased although i do think due to wages we
would only be able to get one of these players,
but we prob wont even end up getting one
of them. :(

JackTheBlueNose {Ed025's Note - djalo is being linked with villa jack..i think our spending might be over mate, but maybe a loan could be on the cards

Believable1 Unbelievable3

But isnt this guy available for free or something? Wasnt he supposed to have a trail at Aston Villa?

Would definetly take him, was very impressed by him when we played in the Europa {Ed025's Note - he is good mate..but if he is on a free..then his wages will still be huge..

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Moyes has already said tim isntgoing anywhere

Agree1 Disagree1

Moyes said Lescott was going nowhere

Agree1 Disagree0

He also said we didn't sell Arteta because the banks made us but three months later 'we all knew the banks wanted the money' ! Don't believe everything you hear !

Agree5 Disagree0

If tim leaves then fair enough, even tho i dont want him to go, but no way i would want thug barton anywhere near our club

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Carlton Cole is very useful for us.Let's him come Moyes. {Ed025's Note - personally..i dont rate him at all!..

Agree1 Disagree5

Ed u say u dont rate cole but u rat the jellyman cole is better than him the jellyman looks ok in the scottish league thats all {Ed025's Note - its just my opinion mate...the jellyfish is more suited to us with his hustle and bustle style, where as cole seems very lethargic at times, and misses a lot of chances...but thats just my take on it..

Rodwell to Spurs with Defoe coming to Everton and the remaining 10 million to be paid to bank. {Ed025's Note - BS rating 9.6

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Enough with these swap deals, if these were true, Spuds would have half our team, and we would have half their team by now.

Agree1 Disagree1

Rodwell for Bale+Defoe is reasonable {Ed025's Note - i dont think so mate.. bale is worth double rodders...in the real world..

Agree2 Disagree1

Stop teling lies kopite

Agree8 Disagree1

Rodwell for bale and defoe ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha i am a blue mate you you really have just made me laugh

It says on the 'everton news now' site that Moyes was watch onugha(sorry bout spelling) for 4 million! Unless that's 4 million paid over 40 years can't see it personally, but it's there in black and white.

Kurajan

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I think Onuoha would be a really good addition, but I think we could get him for less, think around the 2-3mil, and for that price, for a young lad who can cover the entire back four would be another shrewd buy by Moyes.
