17 May 2016 18:42:58
Joe Anderson has come out tonight and said we have the money for a new stadium and Liverpool council have land available for it but can't say too much as we are in talks with other landowners (hopefully on the docks) one more thing isn't it funny all these years and the council have always screwed us other while bending over backwards for Liverpool and now Joe Anderson comes out today begging for us to help them out stadium wise for the commonwealth games ha ha jog on ya fool one thing I do not want is a running track around the pitch.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - now they know we have the money with moshiri 79 they will all crawl out the woodwork mate..

17 May 2016 19:43:13
I know ed025 unbelievable isn't it didn't want to know us this time last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it would be the end of the world 79..

16 May 2016 22:13:30
Wonder how much money BK, RE have wasted on the Walton Park (never going) to happen project?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - probably a tax deductible mate..

16 May 2016 22:18:02
4 sheets of A3 some blue ink and 3 years of chin scratching so probably about 5 mill.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - they just copied the gillette and hicks plans..i liked them 2.. :)

16 May 2016 22:31:10
Any thoughts on who is going to pay for this new stadium where supposedly getting within 3 years?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well dont ask me i have a wedding to pay for next year mate.. :)

16 May 2016 23:24:59
I think I'd rather build a stadium than organise a wedding Ed. cheaper and less of a headache lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your probably right ace..please tell my future daughter in law that..

17 May 2016 06:04:13
Thought u was getting married there ed for a min 😂😂😂.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - done that 37 years ago pb, and once is enough even for a glutton mate.. :)

17 May 2016 06:35:08
Just gave mine the money years ago Ed, told her that's towards your new house or wedding, you choose but that is it, bank now closed except emergencies.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ahh the bank of mum and dad...im a major shareholder in that institution BCT.. :)

16 May 2016 21:55:00
Hi guys we will not have a new manager until middle of June. So sayeth the shepherd so sayeth the flock.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - yes but the lord said come forth..and we finished 11th so dont believe all you hear warrior.. :)

16 May 2016 23:54:56
The chosen one went to the red and bloody field of dreams and their was much weeping and gnashing of teeth. The Spanish waiter fell into the abyss and their was much rejoicing. The Ginger one found himself out in the cold and the multitude breathed a sigh of relief. And it came to pass that a Dutchman came to the promised land and bequeathed the chosen ones riches and success beyond their dreams. Thanks be to the Lord.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - amen to that mike..

17 May 2016 06:36:37
Bloody lucky it wasn't come forth twice then isn't it, could have been playing with Newcastle next season. ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

15 May 2016 13:30:03
ED25. Is it just wishful thinking, or does the special one have a personal friendship with our new owner?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - certainly very cordial JCW and im not ruling that one out just yet mate..

16 May 2016 20:20:23
May not be probable but may be possible 😊.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 16:42:31
Anybody heard anything on our new manager yet it's doing my head in can't wait for next season.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

16 May 2016 18:06:15
I'm the same! A friend of mine says that Mourinho's odds have been cut from 20/1 to 7/1. got to be worth a tenner? The longer it takes to get someone in, they'll cut even more surely.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed033's Note - Yes, in theory, if you back at 7/1 with £10 and it drops to 5/1, then you could lay £10 on betfair at 5/1 and get a (nearly) no lose outcome.
If mourinho comes in 7/1 x £10 (bet) minus 5/1 x £10 (lay) = £20 win

If mourinho doesn't come in (most likely outcome) £10 bet loses, but £10 gained on lay bet. (minus betfair win percentage amount)

16 May 2016 19:36:39
Yeh brill, confused the heck out of me that has, wots our odds on doing a Leicester, worth a punt ey blue boys.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 20:08:51
Or could just sit back and be patient, have faith and don't pressurize the Club into a knee jerk appointment ala Martinez.

Agree1 Disagree1

16 May 2016 22:20:00
I heard we will most likely find a replacement for Martinez. Just what I heard. Just chill out the season finished 28 hours ago.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - ahah...you must know someone at finch farm svenny..eat your heart out mr holmes.. :)

16 May 2016 13:08:54
''Hot off the heels of a joint-announcement with the club that Walton Hall Park will now be pursued, Anderson says that the club will have a stadium in Liverpool and the timescale will be quicker than most Evertonians believed would happen. ''

Bloody Hell if that doesn't get us wound up with curiosity nothing will.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

16 May 2016 15:31:58
The announcement is that Walton Hall park is off and a brownfield site will be used (Radio Merseyside)

Agree0 Disagree1

16 May 2016 15:42:43
Council want Croxteth

Club wants Canada Dock.

Result may rest on Peel Holdings.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 15:45:04
I do hope its right mate and not a spin from Joe to keep us happy, this is the 4th time now, WTF.

Agree2 Disagree0

16 May 2016 15:54:23
Croxteth, are we all getting bullet proof vests with our season tickets.

That was a joke, before all the Crocky heads kick off :)

Agree2 Disagree0

16 May 2016 21:07:28
Peel holdings are notoriously difficult to deal with and so I doubt anything would happen with them. Also it has been stated that one of the sites is north liverpool (Croxteth) and the other one east liverpool. Not sure where that one is?

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 06:20:14
According to the Echo Walton Hall Park is not happening any more.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

16 May 2016 08:21:32
There is obviously something else in the pipeline then Tom, can't wait to see what it is, exciting times ahead, my idea is a floating island in the Mersey by Albert Dock with the stadium on, it may take all of Mr Moshiris 1.5 Billion though so that may not be an option :) , he did say we can have all his money though ha ha.

Agree3 Disagree1

16 May 2016 08:35:58
Said that a short while ago.

Canada Dock

Strokes chin and Winks.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 08:36:02
I think he will go for it haha.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 08:46:07
If his bezzie Mr Usmanov comes along then maybe Pb, i'm hoping he sells his Arsenal shares soon as rumours would fly then, only one thing better than a Billionaire investing in your club mate, when 2 come along :)

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 09:28:42
Third Ground move collapse, coincidence or do we need to find someone capable of submitting a business plan that actually makes sense.

Agree2 Disagree5

16 May 2016 09:53:05
Oh Bill wipe those crocodile tears away mate, hardly a collapse fella, I think it is more of us not now wanting that area as we have bigger plans, let's see what the summer brings before inciting us to slate the owners again.

Agree7 Disagree1

16 May 2016 09:58:45
Murf

Spot on mate, we now need to take a back seat and let the new 'powers that be' get to grips with problem solving!

Agree5 Disagree1

16 May 2016 10:20:03
Yeah, Moshiri has probably looked at the proposal and laughed out loud because it's our usual standard guff. He will put it right. That's what he's good at I guess.

Agree5 Disagree1

16 May 2016 12:52:28
Joe Anderson seems to think we will have a new stadium within 3 years. Maybe he knows something we don't?

Agree2 Disagree0

16 May 2016 13:04:05
3 years?

Holy Moly!

That means they will start building this year!

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - There is not going to be any building this year. There isn't a site, there are no plans, there is no planning permission. You all need to step back in to the world where the sun is yellow and the sky is blue.}

16 May 2016 13:27:12
All dreamers again, it would take years to find a site and get plans accepted, wake up.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 13:38:42
The Suns more orange ed ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 14:39:37
I know of at least 2 'Suns' one is Golden makes me warm and my skin kinda bronzy :) ,
The other is the colour of excrement and makes me reach and my skin crawl : (

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 14:40:25
So Stig you are saying you know better than Joe Anderson.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 13:53:18
The major has publicly stated that he believes Everton will have a new stadium within 3 years.

Agree0 Disagree1

16 May 2016 15:09:10
Franktheblue, Yes?

Agree0 Disagree2

16 May 2016 15:09:49
What Major :)

I knew what you meant.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 15:20:31
Frank mate, not getting at you but Joe just gave us bad news so to over come this he tells us this,

Agree0 Disagree1

16 May 2016 15:24:59
I'm not sure to be honest.
I think Moshiri has ruffled a few feathers on the Everton board and now they are jumping to get something sorted, hopefully anyway.
All the best.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 15:29:10
Ed002

According to one site, ''they have identified two possible alternative sites. ''?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Clearly this is far too difficult for you. There is not going to be any building this year. There isn't a site, although there may well be "possible" alternative sites. There are no plans for consultation and there are no plans that have been submitted. There is no planning permission.}

16 May 2016 15:45:40
Ed

My reference to start building this year was tongue in cheek.

Ofcourse there will be no building this year.
Just like we won't have a new complete stadium within 3 years unless it comes as a flat pack!

Agree1 Disagree0

16 May 2016 15:36:18
Haha major! Maybe he used to be in the forces :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2016 16:08:13
Ed002

You seem to have trouble with ''According to one site''

Ok just for you, go to 'footballeconomy. com'

''Together with the City Council they have identified two possible alternative sites''

The rest of it is what we have already posted on this thread.

General consensus 'not likely' etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You have to be one DF. Firstly I have zero interest in visiting any web sites. Secondly, and to re-iterate yet again: nothing is happening this year as far as building goes. The club does not have a set of plans. The club has not conducted consultation. No plans have been submitted to the council. There is no planning permission.

You would do best to stick to the football which you perhaps vaguely understand - clearly everything else is well beyond you.}

16 May 2016 17:40:29
To be fair, if they were starting with a clean site then 2 years is a realistic build out time, leaving well over a year to consult and secure relevant permissions. Wildly optimistic, but possible.

We've put up with some right rubbish this year, so I'll clutch onto any ray of sunshine I can get right now. This is a rumours site after all.
