Yeah I have seen it. Probably still a long way to go in negotiations yet but I honestly didn't think that we would be an attractive proposition for him. Very interested to see how this pans out.

Does “agrees deal in principal “, translates to “offered sh1t loads of money”, and I don’t care one bit 😁.

Gazzetta dello Sport states a deal has been reached with a contract running until June 2022, which should pay the manager €4.5 million a season.

Please don't let us balls this up now, huge statement to get Ancellotti . Up to the supporters to get behind him now and give him the time to put his stamp on the team.

Will only believe it when it is officially announced by the club and we see him signing the papers. One report states Ancelotti is on Merseyside, another he is in Rome. I am sure Ed002 knows what is going on.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea where Carlo is.}

I would love to believe it, but given FMs ability to get a top manager is quite poor, I can't see it happening. I did read the other day that Ancelotti thought we were below his expectations, whatever that means! I have more confidence that the brexit deal will be passed on Friday.

Think Ancelotti would be a great manager for us but just don't see it happening can see Dunc staying till end of season then we look for a manager then we will appoint a manager in summer.

The Utd match proved to me that Duncan is not a 'one game wonder' he is at the very least the very best caretaker manager we could possibly have at this moment in time. Yes the 'MK sub and subbed' affair will be a talking point with the 'footy chattering classes' however they will always find a reason to gripe!

DF to me was what we needed to carry us out of this mess and thank heavens EFC have someone on the touchline that cares with intensity like this.

Fantastic job by Big Dunc. We have a good chance of getting a further six points from our next two league games. Arsenal are a mess right now and we should beat Burnley at home. Beat Leicester on Wednesday and one should ask "why not give the managerial job to Ferguson for the rest of the season"?

The only person who is available right now who might be better is Ancelotti because of his experience and ability to recruit players, the rest of the managerial offering you can keep especially Moyes.
