Karen Brady has said in her column (not sure who she writes for, seen an article on ssn website) that West Ham have tried to sign Rom twice from us. She added that he has made it clear that he wants champs league football. Any truth to the bids ed or are the hammers just trying to gee up their own supporters by making out they are trying to sign top players? Of all the teams he has been linked with, I've never heard of WH making any type of offer.

{Ed002's Note - Once I can account for but it was a whilew ago. He won't be moving to West Ham.}

Cheers for the reply ed002. I never expected him to go there just didn't recall them actively pursuing Rom.

Just been told by a friend of mine who has close ties to Everton that barkley will sign his new contract.

Hope your right but can't help but think with all the crap that's following him around at the min will make his mind up for him to leave and start a fresh elsewhere.
