Ed is it true that moyes has said he will
Not make offers for Everton players
Unless another team bids first then he will be able to match the bid if so this could be why Fellaini is flirting with arsenal also means baines will stay as IMO no one else will bid for him {Ed025's Note - that has been alleged mate.

Iv read the same thing. Beno

I have no doubt Fellaini will leave in July and also Heitinga. But I'm certain Baines will sign a new contract, we'll sign Alcaraz soon and Fer and Mccarthy in replacement for Fellaini and then Moses for 10m as he can play Striker and winger.

Its obvious felli wants to and will leave us this summer. All the "im happy at everton" quotes are just a smokescreen, the world and his dog all know about the clause in his contract soon as its triggered hell be off. 1. to a team playing champions league football 2. because the muppetts on the board will be wetting themselves on how much they can get for him to line there ever deepening pockets. IMO and that's all it is, is I believe the fer deal broke down in jan, not over an alleged injury, but over nobody coming in with an offer for felli to finance it. If the right offer came in he was gone and we had a replacement. Fer has played virtually every game for his club since jan, even playing and scoring for the dutch at the u21s tournament going on now. I would love felli to stay but if, and I believe he will leave, so be it. its not the end of the earth we move on as always. Hopefully RM gets some of the money for a replacement, and unearths an unknown gem, or taps into the homegrown talent we already have at the club
Agree0
Disagree0
Stop with the felliani conspiracys ffs. Have you ever thought he might just be happy also on fer it's not that he might miss the odd game with his knee it he might blow it and never play again.

Everton considering selling off naming rights for Goodison!
Believable8

Your source please.

They can if they want and call it whatever but it will always be calld Goodison by the fans, same as St James's to Newcastle fans.

After the badge shambles, I can't imagine they'd be that stupid.

Why not? It's money for nothing that you can then spend on a player!

Only if they used the money to improve the stadium

Why is this all coming up, badge goodison all of a sudden, surely getting the team ready for next season is more important. Nice to see we have are priorities right.
Bluenose.
Agree0
Disagree0
It's bad enough we can't even own our own training ground never mind selling off the name of Goodison. And whilst I'm moaning what's all this tesco links when I am trying to log in. Such a waste of my time and I haven't been able to log in.
Agree0
Disagree0
Well Blue Bill the liar has sold everything else.
This wouldn't surprise me one bit!
Agree0
Disagree0
Bluenose - I assume you're person who posted same about badge discussion - what's wrong with you? Are you actively involved in running the club and spending all you time scouting for new players and coaching the ones we have?
If so then yes you have your priorities right and get back to work - however selling naming rights would add more money to your transfer fund so should be of interest to you
If not you're obviously incapable of thinking of more than one thing at a time or cannot just spend time having a chat about all things everton related - so best you still do concentrate your 'efforts' on the team and leave the rest of us to chat about all things everton
Thanks
Agree0

All I said was is it was being considered. Doesn't mean it will or won't happen. Just a new revenue stream being discussed, not for the first time and it will be the future. (It's already the present)

Velios and McAney have potential and are already here, don't know if they will get a chance to show it though.
Agree0

From what I have seen of him I think he has ability, good player really improved in the last couple of years. Would add numbers to the squad.
Agree0

Take him on a free as a squad player, would never pay money for him though

There's no doubting his skill level but is he strong enough or consistent. He might do better in a stronger in a team but he could be another Oster

Scored some screamers last year, and scores against us nearly every game.

Marinez didn't give him potential at wigan so what would change at everton. different mcdonalds nearby

Not the most prolific striker around, but his link-up play and movement is pretty good. Could be a useful squad player and he's free, why not. Can always sell him on if it doesn't work out

He's on a free apparently so I'd have him!

Since when is 30 too old, we could get 3 or 4 years out of him. Its not as if we are buying him to sell on.

i think if we can buy a inform striker, midfielder then maybe a winger on loan and keep the squad we have (minus hettinga for alcaraz) we have a good enough squad without losing the team spirit we have, all depends on money and felli staying.
good enough for europe maybe, at least enough for a good shot

To me it looks like Martinez is only planning bids for cheap ish (10mil max)players because he's waiting for someone to buy Fellaini and Heitinga to go and sign Negredo and Dragovic {Ed025's Note - cheapish at £10m aaron??...
Believable2
Unbelievable11
If we bought players valued at £10m each we could win the prem!
Agree0
Disagree0
I hope it's true but history tells us bk will not spend and the banks take a big cut on our outgoing transfers.
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would any good manager wait to sell their best player lol. He's already come out and said he expects Fellaini to stay this season and I for one would be delighted with the news. I'd rather add 1 or 2 new faces rather than sell your best players and buy 3 or 4. What everyone's got to remember is we finished 6th in the premiership with the team we have now. Minus Fellaini last season and we wouldn't of finished anywhere near
Dog Puke Peter
Agree0
Disagree0
10mil is cheap ish in comparison to players that most the people are on about, for example Strootman
Agree0
Disagree0
1 player for 10mil, Moses, all other under 5mil
Agree0
Disagree0
He is looking at players who we can afford, we don't suddenly have a bottomless pit of money to spend. Walter Smith brought a couple of expensive players in and was then told there was no more money. He said if he had known that he would have lowered his sights to get what we needed and he was proved to be right.
Agree0
Disagree0
10 cheap ish players that will do for me still sounds an interesting transfer window compared to the last few
Agree0
Disagree0
Dragovic would only cost about 4 million and Negredo would only cost about 10 million.

Everton have supposedly had a bid turned down for striker Andreas Cornelius. You heard anything Ed?
GoodisonGeorge {Ed025's Note - i believe thats true george..
Believable8
Unbelievable4
Heard this guy cornelius is 6ft 4, so if we get him i'm pretty sure that's the end of the passing game and we're back to route 1 football! Bluenose Will.
Agree0
Disagree0
Yeah you're right. Man city started playing long ball when they signed yaya toure didn't they?
Seriously?
Agree0
Disagree0
From what I have seen he is more than just a big target man. Good in the air yes but also decent acceleration and can shoot. Scored a few good goals from range. Would be a good signing for the right price I think.
Agree0
Disagree0
What a moronic thing to say"end of football if we have a big man". We play down the wings and how many times last season after great passing moves did Baines and Coleman send balls into the box with no one able to finish them?.
Agree0
Disagree0
He is excellent with the ball at his feet, good with both feet and that boy can finish
Agree0
Disagree0
Is this true ed or is the OP just being curious. I can't see us signing Cornelius what planet are you on.
Robbie
Agree0
Disagree0
Ok guys. point taken! I was probably wrong with "end of the passing game" comment and have to be honest, not really seen him. But I would hate to see that long ball game creep back in and see the Jellyman dragged out wide even more. In fairness he is in the right age bracket that we should be aiming at bringin in. Bluenose Will
Agree0
Disagree0
People saying he's a target man are wrong he plays like imbrahimovic He likes the Ball at his feet And is a great finisher
Agree0
Disagree0
How much did we offer?
Agree0

With our track record about half of what they want and only half of that up front.

everton are buying nzogbia from aston villa for 5.5million but not yet complete as aston villa will only sell if mcmanaman of wigan agrees personal terms after villa had 6 million bid accepted for him
Believable4
Unbelievable15
Utter rubbish. Nzogbia has been awful for the last two seasons.
Agree0
Disagree0
Dont get it ED. Why spend 5. 5 Mill on N'Zogbia when for an extra half a Million we to could get Mcmanaman
Agree0
Disagree0
I believe NZogbia would be a much better signing. I think he would do a better job at Everton and Martinez has managed them both so would know them better than any of us lot would!
Agree0
Disagree0
Highly doubtful as Villa have already signed 2 wingers already.
Agree0
Disagree0
Who's the 'lol'er? Seriously, get a grip you sad sack. McManaman would go to Villa because they're a good club, much bigger than Wigan.
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd rather match Villa's bid for Mcmanaman get a lot more years out of him than N'Zogbia and for only an extra half a mil
