Not sure if anybody truly knows the status of Yobo, but I have definte news of his whereabouts. I went to London yesterday and as I was going up the ramp at Euston Yobo was getting on the train to Lime St. It was 12.00 midday and he was with his missus and carrying a young child. He's definitely on Merseyside but I don't know if he's here to stay.

I did read your post properly and,after reading it again,my opinion hasn't changed. We are dismissive of this rumour as it isn't going to happen. The money on offer isn't anywhere near enough for someone of his ability. We reserve the right to be dismissive as he is on a long term contract with us so,therefore,it would have to be a ridiculous offer to even tempt us. Utd are a team in decline, you will fall short again this year so why do you lot continue to act so smug? Haha, United a team in decline? We've won the league 4 out of the last 6 seasons, coming 2nd the times we missed out and only to goal deference injury time(sob sob) to City. We've improved our squad and looking to add more in this transfer window. So if that's a team in decline, I'm happy with it.
Yeah got to agree with the manc there if 4 titles in 6 years and runner up in the other is in decline id be gutted to know what we are, but the chances of baines going are slim, not impossible but very slim, hes everton through n through we have showed we are improving by early signings, all signs show we want more to follow and want to make a serious challenge next season, fellaini has confirmed hes staying so i just cant see baines going

To the Utd fan,scoff all you like but,in my opinion,your team is not good enough to win the title this year. City have overtaken you as top dogs and I don't believe that will change. The yanks are in debt to the tune of 400m+ which will only hamper your transfer plans,probably why you're offering such derisory amount for Baines. In seasons gone by you have had great squad depth but that is no longer there for you hence why I believe you are a team in decline. The power shift started last season with City knocking you ff your perch.

Have some worrying news I'm afraid, heard from a mate close to spurs... appartently spurs waiting to see the outcome of Modric saga before allowing Peanuts to come to Everton - fear being if the deal is not done with enough time to spend the money on replacements Peanuts will fill that role till January.
He doesn't want to play for them... We all know what happens with players who do not want to play (Lescott)

Didn't Arteta finish the season with quite a bad injury? Those of us in our 30`s will tell you it ake alot longer to recover than it used to so I`m not sure Arteta will have the physical fitness required. Arteta is one of my favorite everton players after big Dunc but we need to plan for future not live in the past.
