Manuel Fernandes has opened the door to an Everton return according to reports that are gathering in the Portuguese press.

Believable42 Unbelievable19

This is the quote (taken from SOS1878):

'Mendes told O Jogo: ‘There is some interest (from England) but he has made no decision yet. Manuel loved his time with Everton and would welcome the chance to return if the proposal was right.'

So it sounds like he is looking for the best deal possible, and is prodding Bill to make an offer. I suppose there is an outside chance we could be in with a chance. Also depends on whether he is looking for a signing on fee, what agent's fee there might be as well as the hefty salary he clearly wants.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you care to elaborate i.e quotes

Agree0 Disagree0

Good player but I doubt Moyes will have him back, they dont see eye to eye.
Joe EFC

Agree1 Disagree0

He might of matured so Moyes shopuld give him another chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't they see eye 2 eye because he went to Valencia while he was at Valencia he come back everton on loan again if I remember rightly

is there something more darker going on behind the scenes, all this that if Baines goes then Moyes will walk,
lets be honest Moyes know exactly where he is, and Everton selling stars to balance the books is where we are for the time being, but is suspect that this is a smokescreen, as from what ive heard Harry Redknapp will be taking the chelsea job, leaving the spurs post for moyes to walk into

Believable9 Unbelievable34

Just checked online and Moyes is the out and out favourite for the next spurs permanent manager at odds of 6/4 {Ed025's Note - martinez was favourite for the R/S job...it means nothing..

Agree0 Disagree0

Di matteo been offered a 1 year contract to manage chelsea

Agree1 Disagree0

Obviously the daily mirror must have sent a reporter on holiday with Moyes and his family. Don't believe tabloid Bullshxt! (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree1

Rumour going around that Harry is gonna be sacked this week

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring big dunc in as manager

Agree0 Disagree0

Why take a step backwards, i mean what have Spurs got that we haven't?
please don't reply with the word money because they're in the same boat as us.
Steve the Roofer.

Agree0 Disagree1

I just read in the Sun that Danel Levy , Mom has passed away , thats is the delay on Harrys new deal, nothing else to it.....Harry will be st Spurs ....

Agree1 Disagree0

How the hell would u know that harry redknapp is being offered the chelski job never heard so much bs in my life and why would moyes go to spurs he is building a solid team here with a chance to challenge the top four next season. Bore off will ya kopite

Agree1 Disagree0

Honestly Harry for chelsea don't make me laugh. Idiots. Some of the nonsense on this sight is is just completely idiotic. Still COYB.

Agree0 Disagree1

The only club moyes is leaving everton for is to replace ferguson at united!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Billic to take over when Moyes walks.

Agree1 Disagree0

Why are you reading the sun?! JFT96
Joe EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes isn't gonna go anywhere lol .. liking the Bilic shout though

More rumours coming out of spain, Linea de gol reckons moyes is about to move for 24 year old Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitić, Now it says he's had a disappointing season in Spain and would like a move to England, He was good for schalke and could be cheap so who knows.
Toffeepidge

Believable29 Unbelievable10

Bad news, according to Talksh1t, Real Madrid are now joining the chase for Fellaini. And the Baines deal with Manchester United has been boosted as Everton look to sign Steven Ward as his replacement.

Believable12 Unbelievable26

Thats just the sunday mirrors story regurgitated

Agree0 Disagree0

The more teams interested then if we do sell it might bump the price of felli up

There is such s**te in the papers at the moment the daily starfish is claiming that Moyes has devised a plan B for if Fellaini and Baines leave. It claims Moyes will move for Adam Johnson and James Milner from City. What a load of crap!
Joe EFC

Believable8 Unbelievable20

I would'nt say it was a pile of crap, as we would have money and both will probably leave City this year, but what i would say is, we would never be able to pay the wages for either of these 2 players without some serious sacrifices.

The rumours that moyes is becoming increasingly disallusioned with the lack of backing from the board! is gathering pace. If he walks, the backlash from the fans will be unpresidented. kenwright and co need to act fast to quell these fears!...

Believable19 Unbelievable11

So moyes is only just getting fed up now? seems funny that because hes been fine over the last 10 years with hardly any backing, stop talking nonsense, moyes will be here next season along with felli and baines

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes aint goin nowhere hes plottin our title charge

Agree0 Disagree1

10 Jun 2012 11:53:56
I think moyse is just saying he will leave if Baines or Fellaini go just to scare the board into not making him sell them. I know he has a say in who goes but if the board want money they will get it, I.e. lescott, Rooney............

TC

Believable5 Unbelievable14

I know what you're saying TC but I don't think Moyes has said a word mate. Don't get sucked in.

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree1

I can't remember Moyes saying anything he didn't mean !

Its time for investment to support the manager be that this board or another !

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry TC but as I recall Rooney and Lescott both asked to go as did Arteta and Peinaar we never pushed for those moves
EFCwhitesocks

Agree1 Disagree0

Beckford then, sold him to get money.........

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

The players you've mentioned were want aways. Prima Donnas. Selling Beckford was very good buisness, much rather jelli up top

Well-publicised rumours about Everton selling Baines and Fellaini will come to fruition but only after the Euros. Baines will leave for Man Utd in a £15 million deal, with £10m payable over 18 months and £5 million in clauses. Everton want the cash and will resist any player-exchange offer. Fellaini will move to Chelsea for about £25 million - again most of this will be payable over an 18-24 month period. {Ed025's Note - utter tripe!..

Believable7 Unbelievable36

Come on, you must be mad to even write this utter garbage, 1st why would we sell our 2 best players, 2nd there's no way moyes would let Baines go for 15mill and 3rd, there's absolutely no chance we will accept payment over 18 months for either baines or felli, so do us all a favour stop posting this crap because you don't know anything, we had a very strong finish to the season again and we will biuld on that with baines, felli, jelly and peanuts making the team tick

Agree1 Disagree0

When will moyes or kenwright come out and assure everton fans that talks are ongoing regarding bringing players , i for one would be happy to know that we are moving forwards, heard baines and felli are to be sold :( ..knowing everton ,DM WILL not have the money to spend so lets get player exchange ,at least we will have players for next season, getting very frustated and p****d off by this {Ed025's Note - i keep asking for a bit of transparency from the club..they should be honest with us, god knows we deserve it..

Agree1 Disagree0

I AGREE WITH THE LAST COMMENT COME ON EVERTON YOUR THE PEOPLES CLUB SO LET THE PEOPLE KNOW WHATS GOING ON

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we sell our best players for monthly installments that we can't use to buy new players? AND not get any replacements in the deal to compensate? Well said ed UTTER TRIPE!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree

Agree0 Disagree0

The same happens every summer.... our best players get linked with a move away from Goodison. Ask yourself how often does it happen and when have DM and BK let our best players go without a fight or without it being to the benfit of the club? Last summer it was Rodwell, Jags and Barkley, this summer it's Baines and Felli. I would be astounded if either player leaves.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think is clear we do not want to sell, but players have a view too. Remember Rooney and Lescott? we did not to sell but heads get turned. I think Baines. is totally loyal, but Fellaini's dad as his agent will look to move his son to earn more money, raise his profile and get regular European football.

Agree0 Disagree1

The person that wrote the original post can only be described as an idiot. Or a moron, he can choose

Agree0 Disagree1

Yer not much truth in this post, but regarding payments for transfers we did pay for felliani over five years that's the length of his contract so by my calculation we've only just finished paying for him,and when you think about it it's probably the only way we could afford that deal, but am not sure weather you can pay that way at domestic level,I think it's only when you buy abroad, but I might be wrong,"........tristen

Agree1 Disagree1

Man Utd and chelski can both afford to pay those amount (which are much to low) up front. hint - a rumour is not a rumour if you made it up

Agree1 Disagree0

£15M? are you serious (Colin the Chef)

THE PAPERS ARE SAYING MOYES WILL WALK IF BAINES IS SOLD TO UNITED

Believable22 Unbelievable21

Moyes will not walk if we sell he will rebuild , bill give dm the money ..coyb,imwt

Agree1 Disagree0

Again, The Mirror is saying this. I've pointed out before that, as a paper, they print more nonsense football stories than any other paper. Personally I think we as Everton fans are in for a rough couple of months, but there IS NO POINT GETTING STRESSED ABOUT STORIES IN THE MIRROR. If any of their stories turn out to be true it will only be because the law of averages dictates that it had to happen eventually.

Agree1 Disagree1

When we've just got a proper striker and he's on 3 million a year, yeah right...
Toffeepidge

Agree1 Disagree0

He has no mobility issues, as far as I can see.

man united bid for baines moyes may leave

Believable17 Unbelievable19

There's no way the club would sell a player, let alone our best player, without the full backing of Moyes. These rumours are utter made up paper nonsense. Newspapers should not be called newspapers, they don't contain news anymore, they just contain lies, opinions and spin.

Agree1 Disagree1

Moyes has stated "he alone decides , who goes , etc" So these rumours make it sound like.....he has either been lying , or policy has changed.....i think its total bull !

everton join race to sign left back stephen ward from wolves

Believable12 Unbelievable28

You've gotta be jokin,if the worst does happen an Baines leaves we should be looking at either cissokho, willemms (18 yr Dutch lad) or Anita (Ajax) Rob

Agree0 Disagree0

Wolves fanatic my opinion of stephen ward is he is an honest journeyman no more no less i would have thought the toffees would do better its gr8 to see everton being no1 in scouseland youre a gr8 club {Ed025's Note - cheers pal..

Agree0 Disagree1

Join Race? I think it would be more of a gentle stroll without wishing to disrespect Ward too much. He's no Baines is he?

United have sealed a deal for Nick Powell and are looking to loan him out straight away, they have offered him+Anderson on loan plus £12m for Baines, expect to see it hit headlines in the next week or so

Believable6 Unbelievable30

No thank you

Agree0 Disagree0

TELL FERGIE TO DO ONE

Agree0 Disagree0

£25 million ,nick powell ,anderson ,pogba and park ,and we'll think about it

Agree1 Disagree0

How do you know? Did you dream this last night?

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't try and insult my intelligence, I know people inside the club at United. And for the other person, Pogba is a Juventus player

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would we loan someone we were interested in getting for the same reason Man U did (Powell) and accept way under Baines' value? 2 loans would make around 2m, that's still a minimum of 10m short of what he's worth.

Posted comments about a month ago regarding Fellaini, and the situation has got worse. Fellaini's dad is his agent and wants him to play for Chelsea, he has been in contact with them on numerous occasions to push a deal as there is a 26 million buy out clause in the contract.
Sources: my sources, Fellaini's Dad, he goes out often and he lives just over the border from my brothers place in Hoos, Holland. He is very obnoxious person and shouts his month off in company.
Last time I mentioned this I was slagged off and called a RS, no bulls**t just wait and see, also this is a straight cash amount no part exchange on other players.

Believable21 Unbelievable20

Kopite alert

Agree1 Disagree0

Its old news about Fellaini's Dad being his agent and he has banged on about a move to Chelsea ever since he joined Everton. There's a hell of a leep from that to Chelsea paying out £30million

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant be a kopite, spelling and punctuation is perfect.

I have heard similar to this especially regarding Fellaini's Dad.

I think that he will go but Baines will stay {Ed025's Note - he just signed a new 5 yr contract..so i dont think he is going anywhere..

Agree1 Disagree0

A contract means jack, Lescott had a contract, just means we will get the premium price as in his buy out clause ( if that is true)

Agree1 Disagree0

Contracts are signed to ensure that the selling club get more money, that is all.

Agree1 Disagree0

Falcao signed a 5 year contract with Porto. Then left for Athletico Madrid in the same week. They mean nothing

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed there's defo a clause in his contract so if its met then I'm afraid he could be of {Ed025's Note - my point is...that if he wanted to go..he could have ran down his contract..

Agree0 Disagree1

If henderson is worth 20 felli must b worth ....... lets start the biddin at 32 ??
