So, the media stories are that we're interested in bringing John Ruddy back to the club. Really? I guess it's because he's one who'd be available at a reasonable fee compared to some of the alternatives. Thoughts anyone?

{Ed025's Note - sounds about right..

Could we av Marshall from cardiff please, twice the keeper, and less mistakes, they might even take Jole as part of the deal.

We have kept an eye on Ruddy ever since he was sold, which was because he wanted more game time to further his career.
There was supposed to be a buy back clause, but that would now have expired.
A good keeper available at the right price and would have a decent chance of a first team place going forward.

No thank you, the norwich fans hate him, he's awful at CHAMPIONSHIP level, not good enough.

Allowing for stories in the media being unreliable, here's a media item that appears to have validity:
Belgium winger Mirallas has been linked with a move to Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Tottenham in recent weeks.
But when asked if there was a prospect of Mirallas departing in January, Martinez was emphatic with his response.
"There's no danger, no, " Martinez said.
Mirallas has 18 months left on his current contract and the Toffees are keen to tie him down to a longer deal, although Martinez says there is no update.
"Kevin is focusing on his football, he's under contract. That's the latest, " he added.
"We always work behind the scene to see if we can extend the relationship."

"We have been working with Kevin for a long time. In that situation he is quite happy where he is."
