Well that didn't take Chelsea long to open the scoring. Let's see how Dyche stops the floodgates now.

Don't think anyone could help them tonght. Hopefully Chelsea declare.

15 Apr 2024 20:31:12
SD has to go he's absolutely cack his tactics are useless.

15 Apr 2024 21:06:49
What tactics? The only thing he does well is make excuses after each loss!
Even after 3-0 down not a sub made. Hasn’t a scoot doo!

15 Apr 2024 19:11:50
Can't get excited by that lineup, just feels so negative. No pace, no width. I'll take a 0-0 right now.

{Ed025's Note - i have a feeling one of them noughts will be spot on JB..

Dyche tactics are get the ball pass it back to Pickford who punts it down the pitch Dyche shouts Go on my son head it ball goes out for throw in or Chelsea get the ball on the ground and play proper football. Everton win the ball, back to Pickford it goes hoof down the pitch and that’s it. What a load of rubbish. No build up
Play no passing no nothing it’s so hard to watch it’s as bad as getting hit in the face with pepper spray and then a baseball bat. Dyche might as well sign Jonny Wilkinson.

15 Apr 2024 19:50:01
It’s so disappointing to see the same old thing time and time again.
Chelsea can be beaten, however this would be one I’d say would be a free hit so go and try something new.

This side will sit back, take the pressure and eventually hand the win to Chelsea without laying a hand on them.

No pace, or quality in wide positions, doomed from the start but will still watch and cheer on as usual.
A tough night ahead COYB.

15 Apr 2024 19:57:29
Had it with Dyche.

15 Apr 2024 19:55:20
Dyche playing for another nil nil, till we concede and then fall apart. 4-0 Chelsea.

15 Apr 2024 20:00:56
That right side is frightening.

Madueke will cause us problems for as long as he is on the pitch.

Formation stinks. No support for our striker, be that Beto or Dom.

Only way we win this is by staying solid and getting a lucky goal. We don't even score from set-pieces anymore.

15 Apr 2024 20:19:58
Pub manager. Who thought this was a good idea in the first place the guy couldn’t get a job in the championship, league 1, league 2 or the conference. No one wanted him . We should have learned our lesson from Lampard. Fans need to stop shouting for these crap managers. It’s bloody embarrassing. Get him out. Two 40 year olds playing is the guy serious or what. It’s a disgrace.

15 Apr 2024 20:24:39
Had it with the whole side.

15 Apr 2024 14:02:56
Happily take a point today. but what a game coming up against Forest. if we can just find a cutting edge from someone in that baffling team, we could begin to sleep easier. The new ground has to be ours. not a lease. what on earth has been going on in the business side of our great club? It can't just be Moshiri. other cowboys must have beeen playing roulette for some time. Hoping McNeill finds his best form for the run-in! Come on you blues!

15 Apr 2024 16:35:37
A point would be massive mate.

15 Apr 2024 17:00:49
To be fair so. pong as we don't get beat by Forest Luton and Sheffield then we will be fine. To expect 9 points is probably a little risky considering our season so far. A point tonight would be great. And a goal from open play would be novel.

15 Apr 2024 17:56:16
Pickford can even score it at the other end of course don’t mind.

15 Apr 2024 19:43:07
Need someone anyone to step up and take charge and then the rest might follow COYB'S 1.2 TONIGHT.

15 Apr 2024 13:59:13
I read this afty we have officially appealed against the two point deduction we have recently been given.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 17:45:03
Hope we’re not safe by a point and they increase it by 2 we are just giving them something to throw at us personally I would have left it with the 2 and concentrate on the pitch rather than all this appeal business it can only bring negativity to the players
Hopefully we’re well out of danger come the trip to the emirates starting with a positive result tonight.

15 Apr 2024 13:57:18
At stamford bridge with me cousin whose a Chelsea fan but i don't know if its the early pint of fosters but something is saying we will leave with 3 points no idea why but never say never can't wait UTFT.

15 Apr 2024 16:52:41
Think you have had more than a pint of fosters 123 but enjoy the game and a few more. Hope your right.

15 Apr 2024 20:32:14
It wasn't a clairvoyant telling ye it was 3 points was it if it was get ye money bk half hour gone an it's 3 nil. Its official we are garbage.

14 Apr 2024 17:11:21
Trying to channel positive thoughts here!

If we win our next 2 games, we are pretty much safe as far as I can see.

Won't be easy but both are winnable.

14 Apr 2024 17:37:46
None of them are mate but I reckon we will do it and stay up two games in hand and a good goal difference, Palace showed how to do it today.

14 Apr 2024 17:48:07
We got Forest, Brentford, Luton and of course them from across the park so it’s in our own hands, all winnable games.

14 Apr 2024 21:51:10
Don’t see us getting anything against Liverpool and hope we can win the other games - just don’t see where the goals are coming from.

This would be an ideal time for DCL to hit form and for us to do another Brighton result from last season.

15 Apr 2024 05:14:37
Dyche says 'they question us' referring to us supporters. Personally Mr Dyche it is you I question, you have no trust in our youth, you send out the same failed formation over and over again. No scooby from you and your yes men, how to change a game. Yet every game the rehearsed rhetoric comes out. We are were we are because you cannot win games, deductions wouldn't have mattered.

15 Apr 2024 13:17:32
We can win games the 4 games after 1st points deduction and the utd game bar the 2 clumsy pens we should have been 4 up at least, the 2nd half at Newcastle just a couple of examples, but dyches tactics often make us cagey and teams see this and we buckle, but to be honest your points are all valid dfs.

14 Apr 2024 16:27:09
Fantastic build up play for the Palace goal. I remember when we could play like that. These days we have difficulty putting two passes together. Can someone remind me when was the last time that we scored a goal like that?

Just been watching ant&dec and speedo mick getting a takeaway getaway live on air well done on you're achievements and all the money you raised mate hopefully blue boys can pick up 3 points tommorow COYB.

Looking at the predicted line up for tomorrow's game looks as good as we can get it, DCL and Garner picked up knocks last time out so may miss out tomorrow, would be well chuffed with a point after yesterdays results.

So now we might be flogging the ground before we even move in. Just one more kick in the nuts eh.

As a toffee who's lived in Oxford for many years and witnessed the farce of what was once Oxford UTD new 3 sided stadium 20or so years ago and the crazy ownership model and naming rights bestowed on the club (currently waiting for approval on yet another new stadium to become their own as they receive bugger all revenue) I was always commenting from the outset that this new stadium could never be nor would ever be owned by the club. It's the entire reason FM bought in along with all the properties in Liverpool his business now owns. He will continue to be a part landlord for decades to come because that was only ever where the pay day was. This was always about real estate.

14 Apr 2024 12:38:50
Not owning our ground would be very very worrying. Look at the three clubs that went out of business in the Gallagher Premiership last year, Wasps, London Irish and Worcester. None of them owned their ground and therefore none of them had sufficient match day revenue or were able to make use of the ground during the summer months by hiring it out, for example, for concerts etc. All these now no longer exist. All three were big, historic clubs, in Wasps case, one of the biggest clubs in Europe. I think selling the ground would be catastrophic.

14 Apr 2024 13:43:35
It would almost be worth walking away and keeping the old lady. But that's gone. So another site for our ground? A very real possibility in the not so distant future if this does end up owned and we end up as a tenant.

14 Apr 2024 15:42:14
Would rather flog all the players and keep the ground. That’s our future, they are not.

14 Apr 2024 15:55:05
Bring the two Everton lads on board, convert their loans into equity. We are in deep rubbish and need to learn how to walk again. Tenancy on good terms or part ownership is a good idea.
