Absolutely fantastic result, performance and much needed 3 points. That team performance is what I love and want to see. Even when Mykolenko went off I feared a drop in performance with Young coming on, it didn't happen. First derby win at Goodison Park since 2010. The whole team can be proud of that performance. Grafted and fought for everything. Sean Dyche got everything spot on I have to admit. Thought he'd lost the dressing room a few games ago but apparently not looking at that display.

Title race is down to Arsenal and Manchester City now by the looks of it. Although Liverpool not mathematically out it's looking unlikely.

Haha me too. Wellington up, think it's pure relief to some extent. Still worry about some of the dross we have and the plight of the club in general but happy to just enjoy tonight. I think we need 1 more win but winning back to back is massive and wouldn't be surprised if we survive comfortably now. Big well done to the team and to the manager, he has come in for a lot of criticism recently but credit. I like dyche but can't say I've enjoyed the football or over reliance on Ashley young.

Im going to be honest lads i hid behind the couch all match popping me head over like a meerkat every now and then watching the tv it can only happen to everton great shift and fair play but biggest shout out is to Guernsey blue who on here has been nothing but mr positive so m. o. m is for you mate and if we do stay up we definitely all need to buy him a pint at end season but that's a massive 3 points and i certainly not for 1 minute didn't think we would pick up a point well done UTFT.

Yeah it's not comfortable or relaxing is it? Brilliant result and I'll take my hat off for the effort. A poor LFC performance but you can only beat what's in front of you.

I've always hated lunchtime kick offs as I don't think the old lady is every on song and the players always seem lethargic. I do however love a midweek game under lights. It's when we always rise and we definitely had the stadium rocking and the players just played hard. Nothing particularly pretty and easy to moan at some of the missed passes but the effort was over whelming to LFC. They didn't look like they were prepared for a tough game. If we get 1 performance a season then that was it. A stand alone game that changes little as a whole but it feels great nonetheless.

What's everyones views on the current squad?
Has the squad improved from 3 seasons and 2 seasons and last season or are we about the same.

Just want to know what peoples thoughts are if we've got better worse or stayed the same.

It has got worse, but that's down to the financial situation we are in. I definitely think it's more balanced now, not got 8 LWs anymore.

The defence is the best it's been for past few seasons. Generally 2 players per position even though cover for some 2nd positions is by the same player. So even though it is worse and doesn't have the likes of richarlison there are some positives.

Loved him as a player but have no idea what he would be like as a coach mate.

The Coventry and Birmingham jobs were only 'caretaker' positions so they didn't last long enough to get a true idea of his capabilities.

You can't really judge the England job as I think even Dyche would win something with that crop.

If, we could get a stadium naming deal across the line, this would I believe, make a massive difference to our financial problems, have no knowledge of how near or fare we are from getting a a deal, so ed 25, do you hear anything on the subject?

Sorry Intheblue but would make some difference but not a “massive” difference.

The value of a naming deal isn’t a huge amount, obviously would be some money but not as much as you’d think.

Any deal would also be done over the period set so wouldn’t be a lump sum - had a quick look and looks like £20m is one of the highest deals per year. So a decent amount but in the grand scheme of things not massive.

You’ve also got to factor in that we’re not an attractive proposition at the moment so wouldn’t imagine we’d be offered a massive amount. The USM deal was even questioned at the time of being valued at too much compared to similar deals in the league.

So whilst any deal would be welcome it’s highly unlikely that would help us out massively with our financial predicament.
