Sorry to annoy everyone, moyes in his 10 years here has never cracked under fans pressure.
The side tomorrow i think MOYES will pick;
Howard
Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines
Coleman, Fellaini, Heitinga, Osman
Cahill
Saha
Subs.
Mucha
Hibbert
Rodwell
Bilyaleydinov
Drenthe
Gueye
Straqualersui/ Vellios

He wont put either of the new lads in yet, he's a very cautious manager, he not going to change now.
I'd love him to prove me wrong and play Drenthe from the start and play 4-4-2 but i doubt it.
The only good thing is, is that the bench looks strong.

The more and more I think about the drenthe move, the better I feel, think this lad is genuine class, on his day he could be a very good player. Hopefully he is a success, exactly the type of player we needed in the squad. Definetly have a feeling this could be one of the bargain deals Moyes is known for.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I think both denis and drenthe are very shrewd signings that will prove a success. Moyes is great at getting the players he needs on a limited budget

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes will get the best out of drenthe and he will be great for us this season

right lads i've read the last couple of posts i to am threaders about no money for the transfer market BUT sayin selling arteta was the final staw is laughable due to the fact that he put in a transfer request so these things happen... as far as sellig the club back in the 70's we were known as the bank of england... i due not want a situation that kenwright saved us from when we had johnson cause the club was in s###t state so ok if i have to wait for a good buyer for are club then so be it i don't want to be in the position of newcastle or blackburn run to much like a business and not like a passion the club will be sold fingers crossed to maybe mcmanus or someone of that calibre if only bk had some coin and was'nt skint we would be laughin have some patience and lets wait for the right man the team are still good still got the main element thats needed to finish in the top half come on lads we have always been better than the red s##t# due to how conduct are selves coyb imwt {Ed025's Note - nice post that mate..but if we waited for bill to sell...we could be in the conference!..he should fall on his sword...with a little nudge from us..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Ed i hear from were your comin from but end of the day its the club we love thats wots important plus when it comes to sellin the club la recon its in motion due to the fact that the blue lads told the world yust were we are we will get back to were we should be.... best club in england cause we are the peoples clud and are fans do things properly thats how we roll {Ed025's Note - it is the club thats the most important thing mate, thats why people are up in arms about its demise....i respect your views...even if i dont agree with them..

Stracqualursi is a risk and Moyes doesnt want to say too much about him and raise expectations on him and amongst fans cos he does need time to settle and get into the groove and everyone should know that Drenthe was a serious talent years ago and is still young enough to improve and people should stop thinking that these 2 was not known of or watched cos they will of been and Moyesy clearly thinks they can do a job or else he wouldnt of signed em! {Ed025's Note - i agree with the last bit..but i would throw denis right in..he would scare the life out of villa!...cos they would not know what to do with him, and if it does not come off..change it at half time..

I really hope moyes goes all out and attacks tomorrow! Dont want to see cahill as a striker use vellious or denis if saha isnt fit! Fans need something to cheer! Come on moyes lets get at them! {Ed025's Note - i echo that mate..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Remember the blackpool game at goodison last season ed? We need to attack like that!! I'd settle for 2 or 3 goals tomorrow though!!

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - when we attack bez...we look a great side!..if you ask the fans, 90% would say they prefer 4-4-2..

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, i remember last season i think it was around february, we played 4 games on the run with a 4-4-2 beckford and saha and we looked threatening, thats what we need all the time {Ed025's Note - your right...david....are you listening?..

Agree2 Disagree0

Villa and wigan are very beatable thats why we should attack these times and not risk dropping points, we were more attacking at home towards the end of last season and it yielded an unbeaten home league run that started before the new year

Coleman, Drenthe, Gueye and Baines are all fit to play in the next couple of games so I expect to see our service and cutting edge increase dramatically from the way we were playing at the start of the season {Ed025's Note - and boy do we need it!..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They are all key players for us, i think gueye could prove a top player for us as well, he looked great in glimpses towards the end of last season, young pacy and energetic, him and drenthe will be a handful for teams {Ed025's Note - lets hope we see them playing together...soon

09 Sep 2011 20:58:39
What do you reckon for the score tomorrow ed? I'll go with 2-1 to the blues with denis coming on and scoring the winner as a super sub. {Ed025's Note - i said 2-1 the other day mate...that would do nicely..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It seems ages since we ragged it at ewood, i am quite optimistic about our chances this season now, especially if we can go on a good run at home in the next few weeks. Just got my tickets for the derby, can't wait!! {Ed025's Note - me too..

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you go on goodison often ed?? {Ed025's Note - to goodison...yes

I have a feeling this may be the team tomorrow, and if it is, I won't be happy...

Howard
Neville Jagileka Distin Baines
Fellaini Heitinga
Coleman Osman Barkley
Cahill

Believable3 Unbelievable0

We will have velios and denis on the bench to give us more attacking options, saha should be back for the wigan game as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

You know something,ur prob right.Coleman might be on the bench might not want to risk him but I'm sure the staff will know better than me ha.and billy in his replacement ,cahill defo up front on his own I bet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure how i feel about cahill up front, will be glad to see him not in midfield for once as he is becoming ineffectual, but im not sure how good he is in leading the line... {Ed025's Note - there are not a lot of options...myself, i would throw denis straight in, it would really lift the crowd..and when its buzzing at goodison, its like having twelve men!..

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Sep 2011 20:08:17
Surely velios must get a chance in the coming weeks as we are so short of options up front, he looked promising in the glimpses we saw last season

I find out very odd that yesterday it
was touted that we had three different
parties interested in our club.
Its funny that there is absoultley
nothing in any news paper.
Me thinks BK is trying to be clever by
seeping garbage in the press.

"But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep"
Quote from the famous poet Robert FROST.
If BK can quote poetry so can I.

Gueye is fit again but short of fitness, Vics out for a while, Denis and saha might be our best strike force for the short term, Cahill always offers goals, but he isnt an out and out striker. Good news about Gueye and Coleman being fit but they are both likely to be subs.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We will be getting everyone back in time for a tough run of fixtures starting at city later in the month. There is only vic out long term and i am sure we will cope without him!! Fingers crossed that a quality striker comes in January

Everton manager David Moyes has been handed a triple fitness boost ahead of Saturday's game with Aston Villa.
Moyes revealed that Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman and Magaye Gueye could all be available for selection against Alex McLeish's unbeaten side. COYB

If Liverpool needed a tempary ground whilst redeveloping anfield would you take the money to let them share goodison for a season?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Ya and to be honest it would be kind of fun sharing a ground and make the derby more exciting.
And anyway lots of rivals share a stadium e.g.
AC + Inter Milan
1860 Munich + Bayern Munich

Agree0 Disagree1

I am not against the ground share idea, we need to move forward with the ground issue {Ed025's Note - i dont know where i stand on the ground share issue!...its got pluses and minus,s ....i would love to know how you guys feel!

Agree0 Disagree1

I would love to re develop goodison ed, i can't imagine us ever leaving home, it would be a sad day and i am sure the kopites feel the same about anfield

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - it would be sad...but imagine a brand new state of the art stadium, with mega rich sponsors who plough money into the club..

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has had three meetings this week with potential buyers for the club, ESPNsoccernet can reveal.

Interested parties from the Far East, Europe and China have all made approaches for the cash-strapped Merseyside club. Kenwright has accepted that a new owner is needed to take the club to the highest level.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Old news! Heard no more about since espn published it!

Nothing further on this, we live in hope though.

Anichebe was playing well untill he was injured by a Newcastle Player and he has never really rediscovered his football powers. I dont think he should be slagged off by Everton supporters. Before he was injured he was playing well. David Moyes thinks he can get him playing as he was then. I think he should be sold and given a new chance to show what he can really do on a football pitch.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

He would do a good job but not at premier league level, i am hoping everton sign a striker and he moves on in January, no hard feelings and i am sure he can do a good job elsewhere

All these fans who still back Kenwrong and the board need to wake up its not just the lack of investment or takeover. Its the constant mistakes and failures (NTL,GOSLING,THE NEW PARK END PROJECT, KINGS DOCK,THE OUT OF TOWN SHED STADIUM,DEBT INCREASED X4,SELLING FINCH FARM AND RENTING IT BACK OVER 50YRS AT 1.2M A YEAR,GOODISON MORTGAGED TO THE HILT etc.The lies SPORTRESS FUND the only time in 10yrs he has found investment at the same time his postion has been challenged (PAUL GREGG) then dissappears when Greggs has, been for sale for years but Elstone said at the kirby enquiry the shareholders shares are not for sale( i believe they are now though), BU taped the meeting( NO PROVE),banning AGMS because he didnt like a certain question haha what does he expect whats your favourite colour? WATCH THIS SPACE embarrasment. But hey it does'nt matter because Bills a blue and stood in the boys pen if he was a fan of someone else he would of chased out years ago.PADDOCKBLUE rant over sorry ED lol

Ed25 you must be one of the most one sighted, delirious pieces of shut I know. If you think this talk of investment meeting is a PR cover up, sure ok I can understand and it may be correct. But how can you be so sure that it is? And be leading the rest of us to beleive you, who realistically, knows just as much or less about this than anyone else on this site. Honestly mate don't go brainwashing people with your piece of shot attitude.
COYB and good luck new boys! {Ed001's Note - or perhaps they can all think for themselves and make their own decision, certainly the editor's opinion is his own. Clearly you are just abusive and thinks it is ok to abuse anyone with a differing opinion than their own. Try posting why you think someone is wrong rather than calling them names in future. I am sure everyone would like to know what reasons you have for believing in the current board, no one actually wants to protest after all.}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

I agree. the protesting is promoting a view which kenwright supports (or says he supports at least). and if he doesn't truly support it all theyre going to do is laugh at the march, along with the majority of the supporters id say

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Sep 2011 13:16:33
Why can't people stop complaining about kenwright. If you genius' think you'd do better by pumping tens of millions of dollars into the transfer kitty I'd love to see how many true everyon fans we'd have then. He's waiting for the right investors to sell to so let's do our job by supporting. And if you don't trust kenwright, have trust in moyes. Under moyes we'd be investing in good players and not waste the rest like the s**te across the road. COYB

Id never thought id be writting this after slagging off the reds last season.......

Instead of a march against the board lets hit them where it hurts, Pick a home game and boycot it.

No one turns up, the board will be laughing at us if we march then end up in the ground buying programmes, food and drink and still giving them the money.

Steve J (Blue Nose0

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I dont think the problem is kenwright - I think the problem is the rigged league that is stitched up so no one except top 2 or 3 clubs (those getting champs league money) can ever win anything - or even qualify for the champs league

in a way Kenwright and Moyes have done a great job getting us to where we are

the fact is everton only pulls in so much money - so we have to cut our cloth - we'd all like Kenwright to be putting in more - but he's obviously not that rich -

it is frustrating being only a couple of decent players away from a team that could threaten 4th place - but I still see those who designed the skewed league as the culprits - not Kenwright

not a popular opinion probably, but that's what I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Please dont get me wrong over the past ten years Kenwirght has done a wonderful job, Im not jumping on the "board must go coz we sold arteta" band wagon. Arteta sell was a great bit of business on behalf of the club.

I beleive the club has been for sale for the past 3 years however there must be something in the background regarding kenwirght that is putting buyers off.

Maybe some new faces to the board may push a sale through maybe it wont, Marching around goodison isnt the answer and we will not be any better then the red side of liverpool for doing it

Steve J (Blue Nose)

Agree0 Disagree0

Boycott the game? Very poor idea!

Agree0 Disagree0

Complaining about that the board and that it needs to walk away in breath then lining thier pockets in another.........

At the end of the day what good is the march going to do, Sure they will get the message that fans are not happy but dont you think they already know that?

Steve J (Blue Nose)

Agree0 Disagree0

I can explain what is puttin off buyers in 1 word: STADIUM.

I was really disappointed with Heitinga-Fellaini against Blackburn. It was no shield for the defence at all. I just don't think Johnny is up to playing in midfield. Neville-Fellaini might be worth persuing for a while but, ultimately, Rodwell-Fellaini has by far the most potential.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I'd play Denis tomorrow, it sounds like Drenthe isn't quite ready but could play as a sub, Denis should be fit as he has played 5 games in the Argentinian league and especially if Saha's not fit. I'd play Cahill behind the striker. 2-1 to the blues

David Beckham contract at la galaxy ends in November and redknapp is telling him to come to white heart lane to make his chances to the British Olympics football team a better chance he says he is a great person to have around and it would help the youngsters to have such an xperenced player around
