The more and more I think about the drenthe move, the better I feel, think this lad is genuine class, on his day he could be a very good player. Hopefully he is a success, exactly the type of player we needed in the squad. Definetly have a feeling this could be one of the bargain deals Moyes is known for.

I think both denis and drenthe are very shrewd signings that will prove a success. Moyes is great at getting the players he needs on a limited budget

Moyes will get the best out of drenthe and he will be great for us this season

Stracqualursi is a risk and Moyes doesnt want to say too much about him and raise expectations on him and amongst fans cos he does need time to settle and get into the groove and everyone should know that Drenthe was a serious talent years ago and is still young enough to improve and people should stop thinking that these 2 was not known of or watched cos they will of been and Moyesy clearly thinks they can do a job or else he wouldnt of signed em! {Ed025's Note - i agree with the last bit..but i would throw denis right in..he would scare the life out of villa!...cos they would not know what to do with him, and if it does not come off..change it at half time..

Coleman, Drenthe, Gueye and Baines are all fit to play in the next couple of games so I expect to see our service and cutting edge increase dramatically from the way we were playing at the start of the season {Ed025's Note - and boy do we need it!..

They are all key players for us, i think gueye could prove a top player for us as well, he looked great in glimpses towards the end of last season, young pacy and energetic, him and drenthe will be a handful for teams {Ed025's Note - lets hope we see them playing together...soon

We will have velios and denis on the bench to give us more attacking options, saha should be back for the wigan game as well.

You know something,ur prob right.Coleman might be on the bench might not want to risk him but I'm sure the staff will know better than me ha.and billy in his replacement ,cahill defo up front on his own I bet.

Not sure how i feel about cahill up front, will be glad to see him not in midfield for once as he is becoming ineffectual, but im not sure how good he is in leading the line... {Ed025's Note - there are not a lot of options...myself, i would throw denis straight in, it would really lift the crowd..and when its buzzing at goodison, its like having twelve men!..

Everton manager David Moyes has been handed a triple fitness boost ahead of Saturday's game with Aston Villa.
Moyes revealed that Leighton Baines, Seamus Coleman and Magaye Gueye could all be available for selection against Alex McLeish's unbeaten side. COYB

If Liverpool needed a tempary ground whilst redeveloping anfield would you take the money to let them share goodison for a season?

Ya and to be honest it would be kind of fun sharing a ground and make the derby more exciting.
And anyway lots of rivals share a stadium e.g.
AC + Inter Milan
1860 Munich + Bayern Munich

I am not against the ground share idea, we need to move forward with the ground issue {Ed025's Note - i dont know where i stand on the ground share issue!...its got pluses and minus,s ....i would love to know how you guys feel!

I would love to re develop goodison ed, i can't imagine us ever leaving home, it would be a sad day and i am sure the kopites feel the same about anfield

Anichebe was playing well untill he was injured by a Newcastle Player and he has never really rediscovered his football powers. I dont think he should be slagged off by Everton supporters. Before he was injured he was playing well. David Moyes thinks he can get him playing as he was then. I think he should be sold and given a new chance to show what he can really do on a football pitch.

He would do a good job but not at premier league level, i am hoping everton sign a striker and he moves on in January, no hard feelings and i am sure he can do a good job elsewhere

Ed25 you must be one of the most one sighted, delirious pieces of shut I know. If you think this talk of investment meeting is a PR cover up, sure ok I can understand and it may be correct. But how can you be so sure that it is? And be leading the rest of us to beleive you, who realistically, knows just as much or less about this than anyone else on this site. Honestly mate don't go brainwashing people with your piece of shot attitude.

I agree. the protesting is promoting a view which kenwright supports (or says he supports at least). and if he doesn't truly support it all theyre going to do is laugh at the march, along with the majority of the supporters id say

Id never thought id be writting this after slagging off the reds last season.......

Instead of a march against the board lets hit them where it hurts, Pick a home game and boycot it.

No one turns up, the board will be laughing at us if we march then end up in the ground buying programmes, food and drink and still giving them the money.

I dont think the problem is kenwright - I think the problem is the rigged league that is stitched up so no one except top 2 or 3 clubs (those getting champs league money) can ever win anything - or even qualify for the champs league

in a way Kenwright and Moyes have done a great job getting us to where we are

the fact is everton only pulls in so much money - so we have to cut our cloth - we'd all like Kenwright to be putting in more - but he's obviously not that rich -

it is frustrating being only a couple of decent players away from a team that could threaten 4th place - but I still see those who designed the skewed league as the culprits - not Kenwright

not a popular opinion probably, but that's what I think

Please dont get me wrong over the past ten years Kenwirght has done a wonderful job, Im not jumping on the "board must go coz we sold arteta" band wagon. Arteta sell was a great bit of business on behalf of the club.

I beleive the club has been for sale for the past 3 years however there must be something in the background regarding kenwirght that is putting buyers off.

Maybe some new faces to the board may push a sale through maybe it wont, Marching around goodison isnt the answer and we will not be any better then the red side of liverpool for doing it

I'd play Denis tomorrow, it sounds like Drenthe isn't quite ready but could play as a sub, Denis should be fit as he has played 5 games in the Argentinian league and especially if Saha's not fit. I'd play Cahill behind the striker. 2-1 to the blues
