Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Where has it all gone wrong RM . There have been many contributing factors to are crap season. Some excuses I will except injuries to key players at important times ie Coleman McCarthy penuts is he still alive Gibson osman, even loss of form Barkley, mgeady, Atsu Barry .I will even stomach the individual errors and downright bad luck we have sufferd in games this season utd away palace at home Newcastle at home I could go on but it's killing me to keep reminding myself.What I carnt watch any longer is a manager out of his depth I have tried to give Rm every chance to try and keep faith in him but what we are seeing at the moment is simply not good enough for Everton.We have a good squad good players but we look like a bunch of muppets with no direction you can even see the players don't believe in his system .His insistence of three defensive mids playing tica taca football in there own half only looks good to staticions the only option ahead of them is naisy or Barkley who has sufferd more than anyone by this system they just get outnumbered because they have to try and run the ball thirty yards to get the ball to lukuku and as this is his only form of service he isn't scoring the goals .Also what has happened to the left side of the team no left wing while he plays average players down the right mgeady Lennon if miralles doesn't fancy it make him show it himself in front of the fans we will know if he's cheating us .final conclusion if we are to get out this mess he must go 4 4 2 play 2 wingers get the ball up the pitch quicker be more direct get kone upfront with lukuku we need goalscorers on the pitch you can put your defensive mids on when were one nil up.If Rm is to stubborn to change there is a strong chance we will go down loose to Kiev an Newcastle and he has to go. My persoanl choice to succeed him would be Billic played for the club proven himself in big games passionate gets players wanting to play for him . Please stay away from mclaren alladyce were down not desperate .

{Ed025's Note - good post that am8..

Good post Am8 and you have summed up how the majority of us feel about the club at the minute.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 Mar 2015 17:30:29
Yeah good post mate. I would add that RM likes players who can run and dribble or tackle. But most of them never score a goal. Besic, Barry and McCarthy will NEVER score than 3 a season between them. So it is important to have other goalscorers in the team. Mirallas is 2nd top scorer for us with 9 in all competitions.yet he picks Lennon last week and brings Mirallas on for 8 minutes. All season he has picked McGeady and now Lennon ahead of Mirallas. Both of these score around 1 goal in every 10 games. So with Besic, Barry, McCarthy and Lennon or McGeady on the same pitch, half the team will score probably 9 goals a season. Now look at the rest of the team and it is Naismith, Lukaku, Barkley and the defense. Well I know Lukaku and Naisy score a few, but he often plays him out of position and if Lukaku is injured or out of sorts, then you have a team drying up re goals. that's my opinion of our problems together with the tippy tappy tactics adding even further pressure to a team dry of goals.

I think it's interesting that under Moyes, as a former defender himself, we were defensively amongst the best in the league for several seasons, whereas under Martinez, a former midfielder, that's where most of our play is concentrated. André Villas Boas never played professional football in his life and he could at least set up teams tactically soundly, if not the right choices, or the strongest positions in all positions, because he was a fan of managers.
Style and tactics are down to personal experience in many cases of Manager. Martinez certainly isn't used to scoring it seems.
Give Big Dunc a shout as manager and at the very least we'd play with assertiveness, guts and passion.

Well cannot speak for the rest of you blues but personally speaking I couldn't give
a monkeys chuff about Thursday night.
Sunday no more excuses RM!
A win and nothing else.
Lose and we are away to QPR after a trip abroad on the Thursday.

just watched the under 21 henen ledson galloway and browning look all promising

Believable2 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2015 08:21:29
Henen has been playing brilliantly lately.I'd whack him in the 1st team against Newcastle. He is very fast, tricky and can score goals and Newcastle won't know anything about him, making him an unknown quantity.

10 Mar 2015 15:12:04
i think it worth a go I think galloway browning an henen will be ready for the first team next year and maybe ledson

Is keeping Henen definitely happening, Ed?

{Ed025's Note - as far as i know it is mate..

09 Mar 2015 20:21:04
I've been reading the site now for a couple of years but I've never decided to register until now. While our current position and form are terrible, I can't see us going down. We're currently in 14th, which means four teams would have to jump us. Of the teams below us, who could you realistically see jumping us. The only two teams I could see jumping us are hull and villa. I think we will beat burnley and Sunderland, and we will draw to qpr. This would make them jumping us extremely unlikely. I also cannot see Liecester catching us. That said, I believe Roberto should be sacked after the season if we don't win the Europa league, which I doubt we will. It's clear he has lost the locker room because of his stubbornness to change tactics and his necessity to play certain players (Barry and my fellow countryman Howard).

Sorry for the rant, but I had to get that off my chest

Great stats on Stones, something to build on and a rare positive at the moment. Thank God he's been in the side, we'd be in deep crap, yeah I know, but even deeper crap. Not looking forward to either game this week but will be there, COYB.

Hi Ed 001

Any chance you can remove Martinez from the video section of our pages, every time I click on the website I have to listen to his droning voice and I have heard as much as I want from him.

Leave the other ads though as some are pretty decent lol

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I wish it was that easy! Apparently the advertisers think Evertonians want to hear from him. I can't say I have met one that still believes in him though.}

09 Mar 2015 13:52:18
thanks anyway Ed

Ah, that's why el bobo keeps appearing on my screen.
I always thought the ads were based on your search history and that's why I kept getting a big tit on my screen.

Any chance ed you could remove martinez from the managers position!

{Ed001's Note - if I could mate, I would. But then I would never have given him the job in the first place, I have never rated him.}

DunsMum

Why so we can hoof it to him?

10 Mar 2015 10:59:12
'' But then I would never have given him the job in the first place, I have never rated him.}

Then like me Ed, you was a voice in the wilderness .

Whether it was his FA cup win or his stoic belief in 'Tiki-taka' that got him the job?

I personally think people were blinded by a combination of the 2 and after DM's over cautious and trophyless reign etc.

Yep I want Trophies and I want us to get them in style

However this should not mean we have to flirt with our PL status to achieve this.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it helps having friends in the media telling everyone how wonderful you are. It does tend to infiltrate the mind if you haven't looked into his record and spoken to people who work with him.}

09 Mar 2015 12:41:11
.so the 'fraud' has now come out & said his fa cup run with Wigan cost them their league status & has hinted the same could happen to Everton with the Europa run. what a load of crap, it's hardly affected Spurs or any other team still in european football - there teams are still highly placed in the premier league. quite simple to me, this guy is a fraud, he talks the talk but can't walk the walk & has been found out.Bills silence I think does mean something. so hopefully soon there will be a change as we all don't want another season like this one next year!

Zacki:

I too hope BK's silence is indicative of deep concern over RM's lack of any progress in this campaign .

However time is not on our side and survival is rapidly slipping away from us.

When other managers in the drop zone welcome a team like ours joining them, because they deem us soft and lack the grit to fight etc.

Why oh why haven't the alarm bells not bursting BK & Co's eardrums ffs?

This quiet tardy approach to this 'crisis' is bordering on
Insanity .

Why are you talking like we're 6 points adrift from safety not 6 points above it? Yes I know we're not in a great situation at the minute but your panic is ridiculous.

Agree1 Disagree10

09 Mar 2015 15:01:50
Quite simply Bill will do nothing this season he is not used to sacking and will find it difficult to get rid of a 'nice' man, the EL has saved RM because even if we go out in the next two weeks, there is not really enough time or options available to reappoint a replacement, unless he uses one of the coaches as a caretaker.

Roberto, that's you in disguise isn't it ;)

09 Mar 2015 15:57:03
Of course there is enough time to get a replacement!
and to hell with the EL if it means the drop is the cost of it!

Mr Martinez admits/announces that he is used to fighting relegation every season as if that is a compliment to his ability as a Premiership Manager. I cannot believe that Mr Kenwright, an experienced entrepreneur allowed himself to be so taken in. But what is far worse and unforgivable is that having hired him Mr Kenwright is not prepared to take responsibility for his employee running this famous and great Club into the ground.

Agree4 Disagree0

09 Mar 2015 12:31:51
Right I think I will keep it simple, we are going down, beat burnley and get 2 draws to put us on 33 points, we will lose the rest, should be interesting in the championship and for those of you that think i'm joking, i'm not, the reality is we will be relegated

Believable3 Unbelievable3

09 Mar 2015 16:28:41
I will bet you a wager that we don't go down, so come on Swan put your money where your mouth is for once if you really believe what your saying.

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - better idea, why not a charity wager, if you really have to put money on it? Whoever loses gives a donation to Alder Hey?}

09 Mar 2015 17:08:13
I will do that Ed, but I doubt Swan will as he knows deep down he's on a loser.

Agree0 Disagree2

10 Mar 2015 23:20:11
Has Swan accepted this bet yet? E-mail him ed just in case he has missed the challenge set by Mike S :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - to be fair there may be reasons he doesn't want to take it. I would never put money on my team to lose or go down, even if I thought they would, out of pure superstition. Mind I don't really gamble anyway, because of those superstitions.}

09 Mar 2015 10:59:13
So in a recent Sunday press interview RM has finally admitted we are in a relegation battle, he has also said the EL has affected us and compared it to Wigan and the FA cup win affecting them the season they were relegated!
FFS why has this realisation taken so long, he obviously has been swallowing his own BS over the past few weeks!
Perhaps the next words should be, sorry Mr Kenwright I am not up to the job here's my resignation!
OR JUST SORT OUT THIS S**T YOU'VE PUT THIS GREAT CLUB IN!

So jags believes we need to fear the drop, just another load of bollox's from our players, they have been down the bottom of the table for most of the season but everytime we lose they come out with we didn't get any luck in the game another load of bollox's, what needs to happen is Rom, Barkley, Barry and the defensive coach need to dropped as there is only so many times you can pass in a triangle then pass back to upside down head as he smiles while makinfg a complete
arse of a simple shot or cross

Believable1 Unbelievable2

09 Mar 2015 08:54:07
Without Lukakus goals we would b in the bottom 3.! He needs better service to him, then he may score more, its the lack of creativity that is lacking

08 Mar 2015 22:44:07
A list of names being put forward to replace, he who talks a good game, but, unless we do something very quickly it may be to late. It may already be to late. Whoever comes in would have a very short window to restore what appears to be good player, but totally stripped of confidence.Some players have recived a lot of critisisum, but they can only go out and play the way they are told. The book stops with you MR Kenwright, get this connman out of our club, our club comes before your pride.

I agree, RM does not want to resign otherwise he would have gone weeks ago!

BK & Co. are the ones who must act and act now!
