Follow the rumours regarding Jonny Evans, it's reported on ssn that Man U have slapped a £10m valuation on him. West Brom were interested but Tony Pulis being sensible has said no way at that price.

Seen a lot about the possibility of Turan spending the first half of the season on loan here. I have no idea whether it has any merit but it doesn't seem to be totally farfetched. He could not play in the champions league which we of course are not in to avoid be cup tied. Ed do you have any idea if this is a valid possibility or just speculation?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I believe it is not possible for him to go anywhere on loan. From what I understand of the rules, the players Barca are signing are unable to play for 6 months.}

09 Jul 2015 22:47:24
That's an interesting twist I had not heard yet. Thanks ed.

Barcelona Have a transfer embargo than runs to 2016 imposed on them but I don't see why they can't be loaned to play for another club might be wrong but can't see why not, the fact there allowed to sign at all is strange in its self

Two player have now chosen West Ham over us that's not gd, an ogbonna a right player gutted we missed him as it will only make West Ham better

09 Jul 2015 17:47:44
Ogbonna could not get a look in at Juve and is not rated by either Juventus or Torino fans! Only time will tell if he is any good in England but tbh I'm not that bothered.

I see we are doing well. missed out on Wijnaldum, ogbonna and astori and probably shaqiri. anyone else we going to go in for and miss out on?

What are you on about lad, who has actually stated that we went in for any of those, there has been no official word from the club naming any player we are after, let's just see what is actually going to happen instead of guessing then spouting crap

Agents job is to get as much money for his mercenary as possible. How does he do that, well perhaps he drops a line to the press. Stating a list of clubs who are "interested" in his man. The selling club want as much money as possible for their mercenary. How do they do that, they do exactly the same as the agent. Therefore the buying club end up paying more for the mercenary to the selling, the agent and the mercenary. That is how it is.

Wijnaldum gone Ogbonna gone Astori gone all players we are so called looking at but have signed or are signing for other clubs it makes you wonder what sort of player we are looking at. There's 4 weeks till the start of the season and still no major signings I bet I'm not the only one checking the net everyday 5 mins hoping for a glimmer of something.

Was in Liverpool at the weekend to visit my parents don't know why I did it as I know it would make me bad. I decided to have a drive down the Kings Dock to see what should of been. Only Everton could of ballsed this up would of cost less than big Rom. We have to sit back now and watch mediocre clubs building or redeveloping there stadiums. Not sure if Goodison will pass the safety test it's a mess and god knows what away fans are thinking when they visit.

Arda turan on loan be good.signed for Barcelona but only trains and can't play til transfer embargo is lifted in January .3 months of 1st team football would benefit us and them.come on Bobby,use you barca contacts to sort it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - you answered that in your own post 'only trains but can't play', the can't play bit being a clue. He will be still registered to Atletico.}

09 Jul 2015 10:27:39
It was just something I read.he is supposedly not at athletico now and is training with barca,but unable to play til transfer embargo is lifted.I may be wrong but it was only something I read.

Ed I seen a article the other day saying the city of liverpool is considering biding for the commonwealth games do you think if this were to happen we would have a chance to benefit in the same way city and west ham have with getting a great deal on a new stadium? Or do you think the council would want the reds women's team playing there before us .When you look at what that stadium has done for city it's unreal they are currently looking at spending in the region of 150 mil all straight cash deals on Pogba Sterling and Delph in this transfer window while we as a club are up for sale for the same figure .This level of investment only came about due to that stadium and with in the next two years expect West ham to be sold for big money aswell .These investors are getting new state of the art facility's for knock down prices while Bk wants big money for a ground that's ancient a training ground leese and the current squad the squad being the only thing of any value I don't know if we still own Bellfield or what happend with the money if we did sell it but for the time being if we are to rub shoulders with the top clubs again we best start trying to back the city's bid for these games.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - the city would want it to go to who brings in the most revenue. No woman's team is going to do that. If it happened, it is likely Everton would be the team to benefit, as Liverpool would be able to benefit from the improved infrastructure of the area around Anfield to increase capacity there.}

09 Jul 2015 08:17:48
we could only bid for the 2026 as the other two are now closed, I would happily wait that long for a new stadium, just keep duct taping the old lady together for 11 years

So what happend to those Rafa Silva rumours back in January? Also why don't we have a cheeky bit on John Anthony Brooks he's a left footed CB and only is what 22-23

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Jul 2015 02:20:19
Not seen much of Rafa but he seemed good in theory. Brooks played well for the USA at the World Cup but our defense is in absolute shambles in general at the moment so I'm not sure that an American center back is the way to go.
