When everyone's fit again why don't we try:

Howard
Jonny. Jags
Rodwell. Baines
Felli
Drenthe. Gibbo. Peanut
Jellyman. Denis

Leaving plenty to choose from for the bench

Howard
hibbs - jags - jonny - Baines
Coleman - Felli - Gibson(Rodders) - Pienar (Drente)
Jela - Anichebie (Straq or Velios)

Straq and jelavic will be a great partnership for the blues, anichebe is turning out to be a useful sub as well

am very happy,very very happy more happy than larry ive just took delivery of a nearly new pink away strip and i have to make up my mind what name to get printed on the back my predicament is that players come and go hence making your top out of date and you feel a fool does anyone think a bit of nostalger is better like latchford,sharp,ball.e.t.c or going for the humourous name like bernie the bolt,earl barret.or is the best bet just leave it blank,av got 48 hours to decide....yours tristen goldberg the third {Ed025's Note - dont under any circumstances, put tristen on your pink shirt....or people will talk!..

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I can't see why Donovan wouldn't want to stay in the Premier League. The man is absolute quality and i think he really is one of the best players in the League - if he had any real desire in football would he not want to stay? I know there are family reasons and so on but that's football - some people sacrifice their whole lives to play!

Got to thank the lad for making such a difference for us, but boy i just wish we could have him!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Agree he has won everything there is to win in the MLS so would make sence for him to finish his career in england and see what he can acheive! But its a big change for him and dont think he would leave the lavish lifestyle that LA offers to live in rainy,snowy,cold and dull england!

Agree0 Disagree0

Donovan - is he all that?
Nah...poor passing no pace and cant score
Why do we keep banging on about average players???

Agree0 Disagree0

He's got the rest of his life to float around the beach etc - get stuck into the best league in the world mate - make yourself a 'name' around the world!
you're pretty well known already amongst footy fans - but a couple of years in the premiership, you'll be known all over!
(check out what we did for Pienaar - South Africa's best known player after he'd been with us)

plus it must be great playing in front of stadiums full of mental fans each week

I know where I'd rather play :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Donovan has no pace?? I suppose linford christie was slow aswell!?

Agree0 Disagree0

Any one else think Landon not as good as last spell at Goodison? - I think his last two games have been iffy - except the two crosses of course - but little other impact in my view and gave the ball away to often - needs to do better!

Agree0 Disagree0

Who ever posted donovan got no pace go take ur head for a wobble an i heard he single so what family is dad {Ed007's Note - Landon Donovan was married to a total babe! Anyone who's Mrs watches a US sitcom Rules of Engagement, it is the younger one in that, Bianca Kajlich. They are divorced now but she is still worth a look. I am not aware of them having any kids.}

ED i have just found out that Farfan from Shalke is out of contract in the summer dont no if you no much on him, but from what ive seen he looks very good, do you think he would be a good addition to the team and do you think its possible we could get him? I no Chelsea & Arsenal are supposed to be looking at him but will he get a game there with Sturridge, Mata, De Bruyne, Gervinho, Walcott and Oxelade Chamberlain all fighting for a position. {Ed001's Note - personally I don't rate him at all.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed, put things into a different perspective...

Sign somebody who can't get into the Birmingham first team (McFadden)

-------------OR-------------------

Sign one of the best wingers in the Bundesliga? (Farfan)

That changed your mind? {Ed001's Note - I would personally choose to save the money and sign neither.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you being serious Ed? You must be pulling our legs.
Jefferson Farfan on a free transfer would be heaven, 14 assists and 12 goals in 2 seasons... worth a thought, and it would show fans/other clubs that we are taking this seriously, and do not want to be a mid-table team all of our life.

I want to be alive when Everton next win something Ed, I believe with a signing like Farfan, we would be going in the right direction for it. {Ed025's Note - i agree with you mate....ED01, is apparently neutral, but me thinks he has a red streak..

Agree0 Disagree0

Should call him Ed007 with the spying he does on this site {Ed007's Note - Hoi!!! I take exception to that!!!! I am always open with where my allegiances lie.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Are his wages big? and would we have to sell someone if they were cos I doubt that much money will be spent by us this summer unless we get new rich owners.
