Hi ed it's good to see a lot of our players signing new deals! Any news on McCarthy extending his contract? Gone very quiet on that front, would of thought his contract would of been the first one to get sorted
Cheers ed

{Ed025's Note - i would have too smeg, talks i believe are ongoing but we need to nail him down asap mate..

McCathy in the pre season tour squad. He's not refused to travel. He's under contract. Not heard any specific quotes that he wants to leave. Understand club are trying to agree improved deal. My view he's staying.
There may be a bit of contingency with some of the numerous transfer
rumours, but most of them will be agent or journalist led.

Hi ed it's been a long time. End of the season came I was thinking, fantastic new season. What 50-60m in the bank new signings. Top quality players finally at our team and we sign cleverly?? We get linked with ok players but I just don't get it. Yet again I ask a like I did last year and the year before. WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING. NEW STADIUM? DEVELOPMENTS? YOUTH TEAM? WHERE?

{Ed025's Note - i wish i could tell you ST, as the old saying goes.." theres something rotten in the city of denmark" just about sums it up mate..

Haha pretty much same question as you wrote a few down, we have had a superb cash injection for one year that's it, for year without sales we prob don't run on a negative so were does this 50m or 60m come from I don't know

Love all the positive remarks about Cleverley, love all the support he has had so far, just like I said last year when we signed Macarthy and everyone rubbished him I said it was a top signing and will prove everyone wrong, Cleverley will be the same, he won't be a match winner but he will fit like a glove in our side and I think will be good signing, we still need a centre half and striker in my opinion, can't see why Lennon would come in unless mirralas goes or mcgeady hopefully the latter but would not want to let mirralas go

So I wrote this last summer, then January and I'm going to right it again. Just because it annoys me so much. Everton are now one of the richest clubs in world football due to the premier league money. We technically can afford any player outside the top 8 team is world football. But we are still getting free transfers and loosing out to clubs like West Ham for players we want. So again I ask, where is all the money going. What are we doing with the money. SAVING FOR A NEW GROUND? INVESTING IN YOUTH? SAVING UP FOR A PREMIUM PLAY? Can someone from the club talk to us and let us know.

We have debts still, we're not city, Chelsea or United were NOT rich, or even close

So does anyone have any realistic good ideas for Everton. How and who can improve our team but we can realistically afford. Also who is leaving. Coleman? McCarthy? Barkley? Lukaku?

I've already done some posts saying who I would (want) to sign and I cannot be bothered doing it again. But who would I sell?

Howard-Milk Chocolate Buttons, small bag.
Gibson-1M.
Cleverley-give a team 30M to take him.
Pienaar-2M (only if we get anuvah winger).
Barkley-Irn Bru with some Haribo Tangtastics.
Kone-Preowned Socks.
McGeady-Nail Clippers.

Who I think will go.

Stones-35p plus Johny Evans and Januzaj on Loan
Mirallas-2m plus Kaboul on Loan with view to make it permanent for 10m (which we will pay).
Lukaku-straight swap for Franco Di Santo.
Besic-straight swap for Distin on loan from Bournmouth.

Oh Happy Days.

Huge fan at Fiorentina and has shown the odd glimpse of that in the Prem but way too injury prone.
