I go home an away we will lose r best players again prob 2 Liverpool buy no 1 an play in a half full ground bad time that's y am down ed ...still me season ticket is only 250 this year {Ed025's Note - believe in david mate...we will be up there again this year..trust me.....with a signing or 2...it could be great...keep the faith my good man...

Believable2 Unbelievable4

We are top 7 at the moment with a couple of signings we will be challenging for top 6, we have the makings of an impressive squad if everyone stays, we just need attacking options

Everton will buy no 1 an go down true blue davenport 78 {Ed025's Note - please dont call yourself...true blue....with an attitude like that...

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Even with no signings we would be comfortable top half. We were impressive in the second half of last season with loads of players injured

How about Krancjar & Defoe for Rodders? {Ed025's Note - personally....id bite their hand off...

Just be patient blues We haven't got much money and are going to have to sell before we buy any "big" player's. Otherwise moyes will bring in a couple of gems like he always does and turn them into stars like he does Forget what the red shi%e do spending ridiculous money on a lanky geordie chav and some posh over rated kid from sunderland As for sunderland, no matter how many players they sign they will still finish mid-table and we will be pushing for europe Im not worried like everyone else is but would like a striker but then again i think we should keep the faith in the yak, like us blues do I think the yak even though he is lazy when fit and in shape is a pure goalscorer and a partnership with beckford i think would work (if moyes finally gets brave and plays 4-4-2) COYB TOP 6 THIS YEAR NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS {Ed025's Note - your a man after my own heart....agree with most of that....except for the yak bit..

Believable5 Unbelievable1

08 Jul 2011 21:21:12
Rumours are building that Everton will again try to get Krancjar from Spurs, Moyes tried to get him once before but he went with his old manager Harry to Spurs. Krancjar could be a huge player for Everton and I would prefer him over Nzogbia. What do you thing Ed? any news. {Ed025's Note - his name is being linked to us quite a bit....he would be a great signing,,

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Krancjar would be a good signing but typically with 'Old Twitchy' aka ruddy faced barrow boy, his price tag of £12M is vastly over-priced and we couldn't afford him UNLESS Rodders goes (possibly in the opposite direction)? {Ed025's Note - i wont be able to look at "arry" again with a straight face...nice 1..

Agree3 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 21:16:36
Niko Kranjkar will be our first signing boys

The Blue PHOENIX {Ed025's Note - IF HE IS....i would be very happy

Can I enquire what the reference to Norwegians is about? I know its reffering to Dogleishs mutts. Just curious exactly what the reference is about. Excuse my ignorance
Redrebel {Ed025's Note - it refers to the high number of scandanavian supporters that attend your games.....as opposed to proper scousers...who follow the peoples club!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Whats with all the red s**te on the everton page get on ya own page

Agree2 Disagree0

Im not actually a liverpool fan, Hence 'Dogleishs mutts'. Im a United fan, Which probably still not gonna make me very popular here. However my reason for viewing this page is that my dad has been an Everton fan for over 40 years and so is my best friend. Although I started supporting United as a boy, I always wathched out for Evertons results and have grown to love Everton football club. They play good football, Goodison is great proper old stadium, they run the club well and have the best manager in the country after fergie. Being Irish, geographical tribalism bears no significance to me. Anyway sorry for rambing, just thought I should explain. Thanks for the reply Ed, I thought scandanavians had taste
Redrebel {Ed025's Note - sorry for calling you a liverpool supporter i know its not very nice!...tell your dad to keep the faith..and when we get some investment....WATCH US GO!

Agree2 Disagree0

No prob Ed, My poor old dad he is used to it at this stage. Amazing though how Liverpool have managed to spend 60mil on 3 average players and still Everton probably only need 2 decent strikers, a left mid and some cover at the back to overtake them. At least Fergie has made some class signings done now so hopefully Moyes can follow suit over the next few weeks. What signings would you be satisfied with?
Redrebel {Ed025's Note - sturridge or long would be good

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 17:50:27
I have it on good authority that evertons inactivity in the transfer market is down to them having their phones cut off for not paying the bill and all transfer negotiations are being done by second class post {Ed025's Note - perhaps your lot...could give us some dosh.....if you can spend £16m..on jordan..WHO??....and £35m..on the geordie lamp-post...you must have money to burn..

Believable2 Unbelievable1

08 Jul 2011 17:17:47
i think everton should defo look at hargreaves top class player put him on a pay as you play deal i also rate dos santos could possibly get him on the cheap if i was moyes i would offer rodwell for dos santos and defoe thats just my thaughts what do you think ed {Ed025's Note - both of them are quality, but i think harry....would want more than rodders..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Living in the South, I have a lot of mates who follow Spuds. None of them rate Dos Santos. I think he's best left to it. I also don't reckon anybody wants to pay big bucks for Rodders {Ed025's Note - he is an asset who i think we could afford to let go

Agree3 Disagree0

Agreed Ed. I would let him go for the right price too but I can't see anyone coming in for him. {Ed025's Note - people do want him...but they are waiting, until we get desperate for new signings...so they can get him on the cheap

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 16:33:12
A season of consilidation for Everton, no money to spend without selling, and Everton are unwilling to sell players. (Excl Yobo for a small fee, not the over valued 6 million quoted in the media)

Yakubu looks set to stay, as there is little benefit in Everton selling him for less than 3 million, as this would not generate the funds to replace a striker of his qaulity.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

08 Jul 2011 16:18:52
Every transfer window Evertonians get excited about the new players that we are going to be signing but lets be honest N'Zogbia probably wont be joining the only rumours I believe are McLean from Derry and Lonergan from Preston while other clubs such as Sunderland are making signings left, right and centre. Pull your finger out Kenwright. COYB {Ed025's Note - even if we sign nobody...we will still finish above sunderland...but i get your point

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Sunderland have sold bent and henderson though and spent less money than they have brought in. We need a winger and a striker and maybe defensive cover, lets hope we get someone in soon as the friendlies start next week.

Dave the blue {Ed025's Note - totally agree dave....just a striker would do me

I think Moyes has missed a trick with Hargreaves. Instead of just checking him on you tube why not invite him to Austria with the rest of the team. See him train first hand see if he is worth taking a chance on. Surely this would have put us in a good position to sign him. He is a quality player if fit and would certainly be a welcome addition. {Ed025's Note - if we could get him on PAYP...i agree

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Good shout, we would have nothing to lose on a pay as you play deal. He is a qulaity player and if he gets himself fit he could play a regular role in our midfield

Dave the blue

Agree2 Disagree0

That is a tremendous shout. Get him on the tour and see what he can do in training. Wonder what his wage demands are like though? {Ed025's Note - pretty high, i would imagine....but with no fee...maybe worth it.

I've been getting stick off the s**te cos they've signed Adam and we've signed knowone. For a club with their track record of turning talent into s**t, Cisse (said he was the best striker in the world prior to signing him), Aquilani (remember the gladiator banners on his debut) and Torres (need I say anymore), they really are a gang of cheeky f***ers and need to keep their disolusioned thoughts to themselves. Wonder how long it'll before Adam is sgning for Stoke or Sunderland? Moyes may only have peanuts but you know they'll be spent on a couple of little gems. COYB {Ed025's Note - i agree with everything you say...great post mate..

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Agree with you red s**te get it put on a p-late for them and then make out like they have achieved something when alls it is they get it easier. got to say though sick to death of being the tramps of the league and shopping in bargain basement all the time. {Ed025's Note - your not the only one mate

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Keep the faith.

Agree1 Disagree0

I do have faith in moyes and i also think b k, s heart is in the right place just sick of n ot getting opotunitys the same as the other clubs its not a level playing field.cant for the life of me understand why a rich invester cant see wat every evertonian can see that we are clearly the team that has the most potential given a little bit of financial backing come on billionaires open your eyes

Agree4 Disagree0

Totally agree. With DM's canny dealing, I believe a budget of between £10M-£20M each season would see us break the top 4 on a regular basis. The way our playing staff is at the moment, I don't think it would take much more than that. {Ed025's Note - come on you money men.....listen to these guys!

I think we should send Big Vic out on loan next season, somewhere like Norwich, or WBA where he would get alot more games, too see if he is just stuggling from lack of game time

Hargreaves to Leicester in PAYP Come on Moyes pull your Fn finger out

Believable8 Unbelievable0

08 Jul 2011 12:13:41
I go along with a few on here and reckon owen hargreaves is definately worth a punt, what have we got to lose? I can only see maybe a charles n'zogbia coming in and possibly a freebee from somewhere as moyes does not want to let any big names go, Once yobo and the yak are sold then we will have the funds for n'zogbia, dont forget he can solve many problems as he can play on either wing or behind the main striker so for me he fits the bill perfectly...What does everyone think? Why would Moyes sign Wes Brown, Scott Parker, SWP, Wayne Bridge etc etc There past there best and Moyes is trying to improve the squad. All the players we are linked with in the media is just paper talk. Why would Moyes come out with how much money he has to spend, clubs would try and get the best deal for there players. Keep the faith, we have a great squad for the money spent. One or two decent signings and we will be a good team next year. I think people forget how lucky we are to have such a great manager. Unless we get a huge investment we should be happy with what we have. I believe with a bit of luck we can still win things or get into Europe. We have had bids turned down and Moyes will only buy the right player. Some mangers in the prem are buying alot of over the hill prima donners, Moyes is building a team to keep us competing. Hats of to the bloke. Imagine we had Sam Aladice, Mark Hughes or Steve Bruce incharge ? We would be in the championship within two seasons. Keep the faith Blues its a long road but are time will come again

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Not questioning what Moyes has achieved in the past for us But I don t get your comment about him building anything at the moment?

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry, what I tried to say was that If Moyes signed all the players we are linked with we would a massive average squad. Moyes will only get players I believe will improve us. I would give him a bit more time. He does need to do something soon but I believe he will do whats best for the club. Hope that explains.

I can't believe we still ain't singed anyone it's starting to take the p**s I see Liverpool spending Sunderland spending everyone spending and all I see for Everton is what? Not even a loan singing nothing It's a joke how can a team like everton not have any money that's what I want to know Dos anyone know any reall news on singings coming in?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Dont panic
The s**te have spent like 100m and I still wouldnt say that puts them in the top4, if Moyes spent 100m I'd think we'd win the league
And Sunderlands signings are probably enough to keep them up, non of them would get in our team
IMWT {Ed024's Note - Agreed

Agree5 Disagree0

08 Jul 2011 11:13:40
We Evertonian s have to face facts. We have no money therefore any quality players around will not come to us. We have to sell before we can buy, so I think at least 3 of our current squad will move on before the transfer deadline. There is no sign of any new investment coming into the club.
Am I worried...No
We have a good core group of players and some excellent youngsters coming through from the academy. Man City have money but you know the wheel will come off at City at some point. Liverpool look like there going the same way as they did before, paying well over the odd's for average players. I can see another Hick's and Gillett happening within a year or two. Arsenal are at the point of being Russianised, they are a well run club, but that may go out the window. United will always be there or there about, but they are nowhere near as good as they once were. Chelsea; anything could happen there, new manager, basically the same squad. Spurs want to buy anything that moves, but they lack something and I feel Hawwy has taken them as far as he can.
It would be nice to have new faces in the Everton team but it won't be the end of the world not while we have Moyes in charge. The futures bright, the futures Everton (I hope). COYB

Sunderland, Villa, Fulham, Arsenal, City, Stoke, both Mancs + the Red Sh#te all either active or at least being linked with players it s OK commenting our first 11 is good, but all other teams are looking to up their game.

we need to get rid of bill kenwright and get somebody who will invest in players and attrct big names we wont break the top four again if we dont have the big names before we had carsley and gravesen in midfield those two were solid maybe we need two midfielders that will stay fit all season and push for europe.

i would offer rodwell to man city in exchange for SWP and bridge, sell bilyaltdinov abroad and put baines left mid with bridge left back, maybe get a striker and play SWP off the striker {Ed024's Note - David Moyes won't do it, good idea but I think it's a none starter Moyes wants cash to spend on younger players, SWP 29/30, Bridge 31 nearly.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Your right ed, i think if we dont land a pienaar replacement we wont be as good as before pienaar is the player we miss most in my opinion maybe pedersen form blackburn or elia the dutch international

Agree0 Disagree2

I believe we might go for swp if moyes fails to get n'zogbia. The eagles rumours have gone quiet, i would prefer a proven premiership player.

Dave the blue

Agree1 Disagree0

Wayne bridge is sh#t.dont want him

Agree4 Disagree0

Bridge would just be big wages and his best roll is warming the bench

Good point Ed, ignoring the fact they are both pony

Plus did you see Bridge play last season?? I really wouldnt want him at our club, especially with the wages he's on

Obertan, Gibson, roe-cocker, Parker, Defoe, sturridge, well beck, anelka, wood gate, Hargreaves, long, denilson, come on lads we might be involved with these half of these on free but wages we can get these on loan aswell come on mosey

Believable1 Unbelievable3

There are some good players in that list, we might not have a fortune, but there are still some quality players we could be in the market for that wouldn't break the bank

Dave the blue

Agree1 Disagree0

These players are in the papers or on websites every single day. How come so many people can't spell their names?

Sell rodders for 20-25m as much as I would like him to stay he won't reach full potential and with that money reinvest cash in on Parker he has a few years left or keep him sell Billy yobo yak heitinga and re invest

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Save 1 player just to sell 4 squad players, sorry i can never understand that.

you sell 4 bring in 2 then injuries happen, Squad is small now as it is lads

The only place Rodwell is rumoured to be sold is on this site. If he was going, I suspect a deal would already be in place. Mark my words, Rodwell will still be with us on Septeber 1st

Bail this new stadium and bring in English players I would like to see any of these at everton defoe sturridge welbeck Parker long swp we've already missed out on Wes brown rofl demba ba obbina I think kenwright should put a real effort to sell the club where getting no where saying your a blue ain't an excuse unless we start taking action and protesting nothings happening you see clubs like united with blazers out and all and then suddenly they get funds but I understand they get paid alot from sponsors you see villas pleas and it goes on tv or the papers we really need to get ourselves heard

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Spot on mate but unfortunatley too many blues think Kenwrongs doing a good job and dont realise the amount off failures and botch ups at the club since hes been in charge.

Agree3 Disagree0

We understand he isnt perfect but then we havent gone through half of what other clubs have in the past 10 years, City went to the bottom of football and had to fight to get back up, Portsmouth, Leeds, Ipswich.

Moyes has a habbit of taking a chance on no-bodys and making them into stars, Coleman, Cahill, arteta, Lescott, Peanuts, Fellaini and Baines for example never mind the list of young players coming through.

I for one dont think we need to spend 20-40M to chellenge this season, I think we need 2 right players (Not Big price Tags)
