All I hear day in, day out, is that Balotelli done this, or Balotelli's done that! To be honest I can see him going out on loan next season to a club with a strict manager (such as Moyes) to teach him how to behave at the ighest level of English football, what do you think guys? Mario to come to Everton next season on loan?

Believable2 Unbelievable7

I'd take him, he' pure class. the question is would moyes take him? I mean under a strict manager he could be class just look at cantona, also could we afford he's wages? would mario think he is too good with hes ego?

U must be on boss medication

Players like him, it doesn't matter who the coach is. They have all this money, become arrogant, think they are above everyone else, have no respect for team mates or opposition. I would personally send him to a place like Somalia or Ethopia for this bloke to get a dead set reality check for a year. Thats how you bring morons like this in line.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arrogance can be good, it's when players like drenthe, balotelli, anelka, Ben arfa are at their best they are the most arrogant little ****s around but under a good manager, not one that couldn't even buy the league I reckon he'd turn into utter quality {Ed025's Note - it can also lead to disruption in the dressing room...so not for me..

Ideal team for Sunderland and reasons -
Howard (No brainer)
Hibbert (Rather have Nev in derby)
Jagielka (Don't want him playing in semi)
Heitinga (Rest Distin, older)
Baines (100th cons. game)
Rodwell (Give him run out)
Ossy (Bit of creativity)
Coleman (Run out, try get back to best)
Pienaar (Cup-tied)
Anichebe (Wants playing time)
Strac (Haven't seen in while)

Its very important to rest some players tomorrow. Fellaini should not be risked after picking up a yellow yesterday, Baines needs to be rested most of all looked tired at Norwich, he has played every second of every game this season, need him fresh for Wembley. The team I would select for Sunderland.

GK Howard
RB Hibbert
LB Distin
CB Heitinga
CB Jagielka
CM Gibson
RM Coleman
LM Osman
LM Pienaar
CF Anichebi
CF Stracqs

Subs
GK Mucha
Neville
Gueye
McFadden
Rodwell

Pineaar will sign permanently. My only reason for this is a gut feeling and the fact that generally Moyes has a permanent deal in place for most loanees. I think he makes us tick and he looks like hes enjoying his football again- he got blinded by the lights of the big city living and it didnt work out. He comes back here where he is worshiped and puts in some man of the match performances. {Ed025's Note - he is a great player for us, and is one of the reasons for our upsurge..

Hi Ed's

Just an idea, why dont you set it up so people have to register on this site and have a username and team they support after their username e.g. DegsybluenoseEFC. This way we get names after posts so we know who the nuggets are

Degsy E025's Note - good idea that degsy..ill put it to the powers that be mate..

Actually hate the fact that Liverpool are in poor form and everyone is talking about Everton beating them, in a weird way the worse Liverpool are doing in the league the more they will NEED the FA cup. Really hoping they smash Blackburn 4 nil on Tuesday and go back to thinking there the best team in the world again with the best manager on the planet with the best player's ever and that they will win the League DEFO next season.

If they do and everyone as usual gets sucked in they will be favourites for the semi and that's when were at our best and will win.

If we go into this game with pundits and fans believing it will be a stroll we will be turned over, are player's are awful with pressure.

It didn't surprise me one bit that we started the season (last season) poorly, everyone was talking about us being Champions League top 4 contender's soon as i started hearing this from the likes of Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Lee Dixon and Paul Merson and then the likes of Phil Neville and Tim Cahill coming out and saying the same thing I knew we would start the season poorly

Are player's just can't deal with pressure on them, soon as we get to Christmas the pressure has gone and we end up playing with no pressure and no fear and roll teams like Man City, Man United, Chelsea over easily and finish in 7th!!

Everyone always asking why we have started the season poorly the last 3 seasons, 1 st season we had too many injurys, i remember a period that season for about 4 games in October i think when we had 10/11 players out, 2nd season was what i have just explained and this season was because we had a squad that were low on confidence and low on morale after the awful summer and no players coming in and losing the likes of Arteta and Pienaar without replacing them and Saha as our only striker who was clearly not interested in playing for us anymore.

In a nut shell i don't want to go into the semi as favourite's we will be beaten so come on Liverpool smash Blackburn then think your the best team in the world again of that 1 victory and then we will give a backs to the wall determined performance at Wembley and send the Kopites home crying!!!!

I can see what you are saying mike and agree with you, I for one are not getting my hopes up as every time I do get too excited I get brought back down to earth with a thump. Lets all just keep calm and relax and not give the Koppites any crap until its over. We can leave all the bull sh&t to the red part of Merseyside/down south

COYB give us what we deserve

Degsy bet is two nil and Jelly last goal should be about 55/1, also Shakalakaboomboom to win the national 20/1

Save your money Degsy, the stage is set... 1-0 with Hibbos cross just dipping under the bar for an almighty well deserved fluke COYB

Everybody thinks we'll batter the sh*te and get to the FA Cup final easily. I remember a few weeks ago we were supposed to beat them at Anfield and look what happened there. We can beat them but it won't be easy COYB.

If transfer funds magically appear , I think the following players would certainly strengthen our squad and love to see them in an Everton shirt
RUSSELL MARTIN ( Norwich - Right Back )
Settled in well to the premier league and very capable going forward
CLINT DEMPSEY ( Fulham - Versatile, including striker to cover any injury to Jelavic )
Martin Jol has admitted it is very likely he will need to sell his stars
AARON CRESSWELL ( Ipswich - Left Back ) as back up to Leighton obviously , giving Luke Garbutt further time to develop
plus obviously PIENAAR & DRENTHE , here's hoping ..................COYB

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I would be happy with just Dempsey and the loanee's

Agree0 Disagree0

If we got Dempsey mate, I would drop my pants and run around Goodison. The lad has something like 20 goals this season, and he is absolute class. To me, he seems the type of player that Moyes would absolutely love.

But in the form he is in, we sadly don't stand a chance I reckon. {Ed025's Note - i suspect your right mate....sadly..

When asked by journalists what they would be doing this summer kenny dalglish said he would planning tactics so that liverpool will win the premier league next season, david moyes said he will spend the summer sh@**ing kylie minogue, pamela anderson, and angelina jolie! When the journalist told him to be serious moyes pointed to dalglish and said- “well he f**kin started it”! :)))

Aint these forums a blast dude:)

As a neutral (ie not toffee or red) I cannot fathom out why Everton fans think they will win cup semi final, even if Liverpool get beaten by EVERY other team they always beat everton. Your team are perennial bottlers against the reds. Your last league game against Liverpool you were beat before kick off by Moyes team selection. Best you can do is 0-0 and hope for penalties. {Ed007's Note - I think your neutrality needs closer examination.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

You are clearly a red, the first derby this year we had a player wrongly sent off (and we were arguably dominating the game before that) and yes we deservingly got batterd in the last derby because of our team selection, but do you really think we will do that in the semi's ?
and you do remember that they couldn't beat us at all last season right? you clearly have no clue what your talking about.

Just a thought but i see where jefferson farfan is on a free in the summer. 27 years old, quick, powerful and an eye for goal. Can play wide and up front. Thoughts please? {Ed025's Note - damned good player...but wages will dictate who he goes to...so that rules us out im afraid..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I had no clue he was on a free in the summer! we should definitely try to get him he is class, but i'm sure he is looking for champions league football, so I do doubt our chances. lets just hope spurs get him so they don't decide they want to keep pienaar

No matter what anyones saying we shouldn't already be looking at the final, yes we are the inform team but Liverpool always step their game up against us, it will be a hard game but hopefully we'll pull through
COYB {Ed025's Note - got it in one mate....it will be very difficult, one on one we have the better players, but you can bet your life something contentious happens!, a referee mistake, or a sending off that will go against us, so dont be over confident..

All around us drew. Most important thing is everyone's ready for the next game. A few legs rested. {Ed025's Note - i thought we looked a bit jaded yesterday, a point was good, but i suspect he will rest a few against sunderland..

Jelavic has made the transition from the spl effortlessly and has hit the ground running, his effort, positional play and finishing are all first class and he is the player we have been crying out for a long time.

Bez the blue

Believable8 Unbelievable0

He is the player most teams around and above us are lacking, someone that we score tap ins and get you the key goals that win you games, chelsea don't currently have that next season (unless toress hits form), no one knows if spurs will sign adebeyor, van persie will probably leave arsenal and podolski isn't a 20+ a year goal scorer, and neither the sh*te or sunderland have it either. jellyfish gives us the edge!

hope Baines , Jelly & Felli all missing vs Sunderland & rested for semi as all very difficult to replace if injured or red carded , ( lets not forget what a physical side Sunderland are ! ) ,
get your money on Jelly Hat-trick & RS Benny sacked for semi ....................coyb, its our time, they look awful are must be shaking in their RS boots

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Without baines, jelly and felli we will probly lose, the f a cup is vital but we cant afford to lose to sunderland or they and probly the rs be go above us
