I hate these International breaks. Totally throw your routine. Even agreed to the shopping and art gallery suggestions by the missus yesterday. Hate culture but went to Walker instead of Tate which was a bit of a plus I suppose.
No looking for pub to watch match, no radio commentary, no checking live scores.
Had no plans for evening. No MOTD. Well it was on but don't do Championship or 1 and 2.
Missus then throws in at 830 that we had an invite to a barbecue where I only vaguely knew 2 people
Again didn't kick off. It was walking distance, free ale and food so I agreed. Bit boring to begin with. Wife found a social worker bloke and started taking the homeless and drug abuse. Got rescued when I found a fellow Blue and suddenly the day took an turn for the better. Covered everything first game, away trips, Rotterdam, Cup Finals, Europa League, favourite players. Got me revved up when he brought up the season we threw away the League by letting Carlisle, who were relegated by a country mile do the double over us. Remember going to Brunton Park getting stuffed 3-0 and being back in Liverpool by 630 well pissed off.
Three hours and a few scoops later suddenly the day had become pretty decent.
Woke up. Always check Everton Rumours before my email to see it had all kicked off over some outsider posting. Don't normally read these visitors posts as there is sufficient quality debate and entertainment from Blues alone. Bloke is deluded. I've no interest whatsoever in checking other teams sites and personally wouldn't object Ed if site was Blues only.

I presume you haven't and I wouldn't take note of whatever the Manc poster said. He came on the Liverpool page a couple of days ago and was basically making out that every player we have is inferior to United! And then back tracked when he got a avalanche of posters disagreeing with him. Obviously can't hack that his team isn't what it use to be.

Another person who thinks just because a club can't spend 60 million on one player they're small . Ignoring a clubs history and future plans to make them progress. Thinks success should happen instantly.

Great response Ed025 to that Moon Rhino from Old Trafford. Utd fans are impatient after last season when Moyes didn't live up to immediate expectations. Now that they're actually spending money again (but at inflated prices) they expect immediate success and it's still not happening this season at this stage. They've spent big but are still lacking two quality central defenders and a holding midfielder, unless Smalling, Evans and Carrick are going to be immediate first choices.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is davey that it was just a nasty attack for no reason, if he had a valid point or even a bit of humour in it then i may have been a bit lenient, but i wont have abuse just for the sake of it, i like visitors to our pages, but like a guest coming to my house i expect them to be respectful mate..

I can only presume that he's feeling a little insecure because his club has spent a lot of money but still has Smalling and Jones as a centre back partnership. There's nothing wrong with us bigging our team up, as in my opinion, along with (unfortunately) Liverpool we played the best football last season, and despite our average start there's no reason why we can't challenge for the top four this season. I also think it was out of order to insult the fans, as, again only from my experience (a little bit bias) we have some of the best fans in the country. I don't remember any Man United fans making any noise last December when I went to Old Trafford.
