Everton looking at Mounir El Hamdaoui from Ajax-He has had a public falling out with the manager and is actively looking to leave the club.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Could be a good signing, was very good in the Dutch league last season, I think he was top scorer. Hopefully if he does sign, he'll settle as quickly for us as Suarez did for Liverpool. Both played together so shouldn't be hard for him to settle.

Breeno

Agree3 Disagree1

Suarez only settled in quickly because his "Skating OnIce" is accepted as standard practice by the club he is at.His reputation as a cheat is being noticed by everybody now ,he deliberatly got a fellow player sent off which was later overturned so why wasnt he dealt with for cheating??.His diving team manager says that he is being hounded, but the truth is ...he is being found out and exposed as a terminal cheat at a club that does not see anything wrong in it!( The manager made a living out of doing it!)

Agree3 Disagree1

Have you had memory loss are just bitter? every team have players who go down easy, they need to be told in time to adjust to prem,Limpar,(What was Andy Johnsons excuse?). Dont kid yourself that you wouldnt have Suarez, stick to getting billy liar & gollem out the door!

Against the Gooners, the lads need to start at 100mph like they did against the red$hite LAST season. Remember the crunch yak made on Kyriagkos in the early stages? You could see none of that lot were up for it after that. Get in their faces, get some hard tackles in early and don't let them dictate the speed of play. Do that and we're in with a shout. Do the normal thing of offering too much respect, then only upping the tempo and playing when we're chasing the game in the last 15 minutes and we will be well beaten.

If Barkley goes out on loan then that's the end of moyes in my opinion !

Agree0 Disagree1

Im not to sure he needs experience and if we bring in those players he will need to improve going to a smaller club will help him shine :) {Ed025's Note - not for me mate...ross is ready now!, we done the same with rooney, never played him, so he was ripe for united!, lets not preserve him for someone else we should be utilising his ability!..

Agree2 Disagree0

Well said ed: I think moyes is allergic to him ! {Ed001's Note - do you think it is because he has flair? Is he just far too attack minded for Moyes's liking? He doesn't seem to like those type of players.}

Agree2 Disagree0

I think anybody who shows any signs of adventure will be snuffed out by moyes, I'm mean where has drenthe gone ? Injury apparently but nothing official has been said, must have been getting nose bleeds for going too far up the pitch !

Barkeley must b poor if he cant displace Osman {Ed025's Note - if you think barkley is poor mate...you must have the same IQ as a retarded banana! he will become an england international, of that there is no doubt!..you are on the wrong page lad, get back on the ancient history page, where you can relive when you were a force in english football, because for the past 20 years you have been also-rans!

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Confirmed from a very reliable source that Stoke have had bids accepted for Leighton Baines and Tim Cahill of Everton. Tommy Sorenson to sign a new 1 year contract too at the Brit. Good times ahead!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
May be some truth in the Cahill rumour
as we were linked with him on the final
day of the transfer window, but I can't
see Baines coming to the Brit, great player
maybe too good for us. Here's to hoping!

So, Bainsey turns down moves to Arsenal, Bayern Munich & Liverpool, but decides to move to Stoke, & so does Tim C. who has said that he will see out his career at Goodison?!!!!! Come on, fella - I know we all love our own clubs & like to have a bit of a dream now & then, but let's keep it a little bit realistic!

This Charlie Davies we are being linked with in the Echo looks to have all the hallmarks of a classic Moyes bargain. Here's hoping.

Yeah, Team has to change, Seamus is dangerous occasionally, but too inconsistent.

Howard

Hibbo Jags Heitinga Baines

Osman Rodwell Fellaini Drenthe

Barkley

Louis
Bench
Cahill, Distin, Neville, Bily, Coleman, Straqs, Vellios

Thoughts?, Should we not just give Ross and chance, were not going down, so lets just give it a go. Attack Attack, attack!

I THINK WE SHOULD MAKE A BANNER OR MASSIVE FLAG FOR PARK-END OR GWLADYS STREET WITH THE EVERTON SIDE THE FANS WANT IN A 4-4-2 FORMATION WITH THE SLOGAN" NOTHING BUT THE BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH" TIME FOR THE CHANGE

I think moyes should make loads of changes for saturday keep the back 4 the same just swap hibbert for neville and keep fellani as cover for back 4 but everything thing else changes!
Howard
Neville jags distin baines
Fellani
Gueye barkley drenthe
Vellious denis

Experienced back four and fellani as cover! And the other 5 are virtually unknown with different playing styles, apart from denis the rest are quick and mobile, denis can bully the defence, it will catch arsen off guard as he wont know what to expect from that team and nore will his players, what we got to lose! It will certainly make for a more exciting game! Cant do any worse than the tried,tested and boring system that has been on show for the past few years! Would also give us a strong and experienced bench full of players who are not happy with being being left out and will want to show the gaffer that they can turn the season around! What do you think ed? {Ed001's Note - I don't think it matters which players are put out, until Moyes sends them out there to attack the opposition, things won't change.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Maybe rodwell for denis and play gueye up front?

My 8 year old son told me this morning that he no longer wants his season ticket and does not want to go to any more matches
why? i asked - is it too long for you?
"no"
Was it too cold for you on Sunday?
"no"
Well what then?
"Cos they're crap and all eveyone does is moan" !!
We are in danger of losing a generation of Evertonians unless something happens soon
The current dross we are seeing every week has surpassed that of the 90's which is no mean feat
I am sick and tired of reading about no money and no squad
There has been money but not spent wisely - there has been failure to hold onto key players and indeed failure to relace them once thay have gone
Im sure a victory over Arsenal on Saturday will cahnge the majority of peoples thinking but it would be merely papering over the cracks
We currently have the best left back in Europe, One of Englands best central defenders, One of Europes best midfielders as well as a highly rated up and coming midfielder in Rodwell, not to mention one of the hottest prospects in Barkley....so is it the players?...is it the manager?...is it the coach?
something is not right...no passion, no excitement, no idea!!
Please sort this out & lets start 2012 with something to look forward to {Ed025's Note - great post that mate....i think we all agree with you...cheers..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Great post fella, my lad looked disheartened on Sunday too stuck in the top balcony with me watching the worst match ever, something's gotta change.

Degsybluenose

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree completly with you pal, I can't understand why he isn't playing Barkley ? Is he scared if he continues to improve on the pitch that we will be forced to sell him , therefore keep him out the shop window ? It baffles me to be honest, if one of footballs hottest young talents around both at club & international level can't get in to a side ahead of billy or an ageing Cahill then something is clearly very wrong

Agree4 Disagree0

Agree with the post. What other offfensive language have you taught your 8 year old son?

Agree2 Disagree0

Liverpool & Anfield!!

My son isn't even allowed to mention those words.

We've lost out in a quality player in yannick djalo he had everything we need, pace, skill and could finish. Also I'd think sorriano of barca would be a good signing he's got an excellent goals tally for barca b and guardiola has gave him a few run outs for the first team would only cost a few mill, what u think ed {Ed025's Note - i think we should wait and see what sort of transfer kitty we have...if any!..but he does look a good shout mate..

Well its Arsenal Saturday and im dreading this one after the lacklustre display on sunday, its blatently obvious that DM will stick with 1 up front for this one, which i can understand, but its other games that the problem lies, you need to pick different tactics for different games and whether your home or away but moyes picks the same old crap for every game, even when we played sheff united, west brom and chelsea in the carling cup it was 1 up top so where is the experimenting, and these teams all fielded weakened teams so it was the perfect opportunity to try something new, home games against most teams it should be 4 4 2 with 2 recognised strikers as we are simply not creating enough chances in games with our current setup, if a team goes 1-0 up then you may aswell say game over. Neville needs to be brought back to rally the troops again, and i agree with everyone barkley should be in the team now.

my starting eleven against the gooners

Howard

neville, jags, distin, baines

fellaini

coleman , rodwell, barkley, drenthe (if fit)

Saha

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Like that team mate. That could work as long as we play the ball on the ground. Chances are the team will look similar to the usual but I agree with you... Lets attack and get in their faces, force mistakes and push forward.

Wzard of Osman {Ed025's Note - i think we all want that wiz..

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes wiz, exactly right, lets put the stoke game to bed, get a positive eleven out theirand have a real go at them.

batto efc {Ed025's Note - thats what we all want batto...except david, it seems..

Agree1 Disagree0

Like that team mate, defo need Neville to shove it up them, can see him giving Barkley a go too as Arsenal are not as tough as Stoke. Distin back without a doubt.

Come on blues, I've finally calmed down after freezing my balls off on Sunday and the faith is now back, please let me write something happy on here Sunday, please, please.

Great website too Ed

Degsybluenose {Ed025's Note - you have just described my christmas wish degsy....COME ON SANTA!!

All you people calling for Moyes head have proably wanted Moyes sacked about Half a dozen times and then been singing his name a few months later. Also you all proably then deny being one of them who wanted him sacked "Told yer we should of stuck with Moysie la"PADDOCKBLUE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't think anyone really wants Moyes to go deep down Paddock. I think we're all just a bit frustrated at the moment. Yes, the players are also to blame, but Moyes set-up isn't working, yet he wont change it. Thats where the problem lies. If he were to be a bit more innovative when things aren't going well the fans would respect that and there would be none of this 'Moyes out' business. Stop being so stubborn David!

Wizard of Osman {Ed025's Note - i can understand the fans though wiz...we look awful mate!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Without a doubt Ed. We are pants at the moment but if he were to just give the fans what they want and mix it up a bit, then we'd know one way or the other. If we play 4-4-2 etc and it doesn't work then ok, but until he does that, people will call for his head. Just try it is all I ask.

Wizard of Osman {Ed025's Note - i agree wiz..i know i sound like a serial moaner, but if we just try to take the game to the opposition...even if we lost, i would be happier than i am now!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly! We'll never know if we don't try! As for being a serial moaner... It's in our DNA mate...

what's going on with barkley?
He did make some small (but costly) mistakes in the games he played in at the start of the season - but he also looked the business when he was going forwards and he seemed to bring the team to life when he was on the ball - then nothing - just dropped

keep him away from our pen box until he learns the opponents tricks to win pens etc - but he should be given a go now - as should Gueye - how Coleman is getting in ahead oh him I don't know
M
(drop Cahill ffs and put Louis in the hole behind vellios/another)
