Have you all done your bit on the club crest consultation on EFC.com? After all the fuss that was kicked up, which I happen to agree with just want to make sure that we all put or votes across!

Why are some fans here moaning about loaned players. We have had plenty for years. Drenthe. Straq. Jo. Landon. Max Moore to name a few. It's part and parcel of football. We use this very well. Better than most.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not to mention Arteta and Peinaar.

Agree0 Disagree0

And tim howard

Agree0 Disagree0

Your trying to say we use the loan system well and then giving Jo and Drenthe as examples, I would disagree with that slightly! But the current crop of loanees are a lot better hopefully

Agree0 Disagree0

Big Dunc did okay

Agree0 Disagree0

BlueClarkey, I beleive they were also successful loans in a way, as when we realised they were not the right players for the club, they went back to their respective clubs. If we have had them on long term contracts it would have been more difficult

Alcaraz is number 32.

Pecko

In two years that's going to be pretty ironic as he'll be the only player with his age on his back.

So will be barkley in december.

I am getting a little bit fed up with all the moaning from some of are so called fans. All I am hearing is we paid so much for are signings and we have made so much from the players we sold then we should have this amount to spend. What ever money we have we are not going to spend it just because we have money left over. Believe it or not our club has been handling our finances for along time and I believe they know what there doing. We are either going to have more money in January for new signings or they will pay off some of our debt so either way our club will be better off. Just stop with all the complaining and get behind our team. I for one is very excited about the rest of the season.

Well said andy .tp.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree far too much whinging going on, go support someone else if you don't like what's going on

Agree0 Disagree0

Very excited about the rest of the season really. Have you read the latest comments of Martinez. We have drawn our first three games, we are in 15th position coincidentally about were Wigan finished every season under Martinez until he finally ran out of luck. His latest comment, I am going to introduce a unique brand of football that is unique to Everton only. The bloke is all talk and BS. Those of you that cannot see that are disillusioned. And no you cannot have my season ticket.

Agree0 Disagree0

If our results improve and we end up with at least a top 10 finish, as many people have faith in due to us having our strongest squad for years, then your name will be mud mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be happy to get through this year with a mid table if the changes allow for greater success in the future. I think RM has been cautious this season in his approach, anyone who watched Wigan under him knows he naturally likes a front 3, be it a 433 or a 343. Right now he is carrying on with our usual system. He will know when it's time to make the change. I think only then will we see the benefits of his style.

Hank

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't get me wrong, I really do hope we finish in the top ten even top six, I really do not think it is impossible. Just that I have a strong belief that Martinez is not the man for the job. A one off FA Cup win or performance against us in getting there is not proof that he was the man for this great, great Club, I would rather Kenwright had taken his overall CV into consideration. I am genuinely concerned that by imposing the same style on us that failed at Wigan we will be dragged into the lower reaches of the Premiership.

It's a joke that cole get s the nod over baines! It's about time cole was dropped and baines gets his chance to show what he can do!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Made up he isn't playing. Hate our players playing for their national sides. Would much prefer them to rest and stay fit for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines is now the first choice left back, he is just giving Cole a chance because he hasn't played in a while. We should be able to win this game with the u21 squad. Just be happy he isn't playing and risking injury.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines will start next game which will be the trickier of the 2

Not a Rumour, But it appears everton are choosing not to release the 3rd kit in baby or infant sizes? It's a shame as I for one have purchased the home & away kit in baby sizes & Paid for Name & Number Also! That's £32 a pop, seems silly not to release it in the smaller sizes as they have with the others. {Ed025's Note - i agree DOW mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Typical of Evertons marketing department. Shambles! How old is the smallet kit?

The away kit for baby's/ small child's is not made by Nike anyway and looks like it came off Stanley docks market. Joke our club at marketing. Went into sports direct today, could buy utds Chelsea, arsenal and spurs but no everton! I live on the Wirral ffs

Hey ed, genuine question. Is it possible that Barry can sign a new contract with Man City while on loan at us to prevent us from getting him on a free at the end of the season? {Ed025's Note - yes mike, but its in his best interest to become a free agent..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The best Barry can ever hope for at City is watching the backs of the heads of the subs bench. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he takes a major pay cut next year and ends his career with us, where he has more chance of becoming a crowd favourite, like he was at Villa. At his age, that's got to be more important than getting dropped by city and going off to work with Geoffrey from Rainbow in toys R us.

Kenwright makes us a laughing stock again by plugging his shows using efc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why is this making a laughing stock?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you rather we plug Park Hampers?

"I think, as a club, it's got everything going for it. I think we can push [for the] top six at least." - James McCarthy.

Can we please aim to improve, rather than stagnate? IMO we are now better equipped than this time last year. A bit of bedding in with rm's change of style and we will fly. Yes, it's annoying that we haven't got the win, yet, especially compared to Liverpools start. But really, they should have won one and we should have won 3.

It will all even out in the end.

Browno

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What you have to take into account is yes we are marginally better than before, however the teams around us have spend £100's of millions and are now a different proposition from last season, look at Spurs and Liverpool, much stronger than last season. Yes spurs have lost Bale but their squad is twice as good now. So a top 6 I feel would be a very good season.

I think the rebuilding is going to take a few years, but think in 5 years we could have the best midfield in the country with Barkley, McCarthy and Green pulling the strings. {Ed025's Note - buying lots of players does not always make your team stronger, just look at QPR last season, and sunderland this season, it can cause disruption..

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Sep 2013 09:24:03
love the sound of that midfield in 5 years time. CraigHuytonBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Add lundstrom, long and browning to that and garbutt these are looking like they could make an impact .

Agree0 Disagree0

Does spending millions guarantee trophies. In some cases yes. Chelsea. Blackburn. Manchester United and especially city. But in other's not. Liverpool. This is why spurs have to be careful as it will time for players to bed in. its better to spend bigger on world class. To spend big on average and don't win.

Agree0 Disagree0

Second poster here again, yes I agree that buying lots of players can cause disruption and spending millions on average players won't guarantee success, but unfortunately Spurs especially have bought in some real top players and are undoubtedly stronger on paper than last season, therefore I think although we have strengthened our squad a top 6 would still be a good result.

Just because we're better doesn't mean we'll now get top 4, because other teams are doing exactly the same as us and progressing, strengthening. Therefore a top 6 again wouldn't necessarily mean we're stagnating, the premier league is getting stronger by the day.

Agree0 Disagree0

In 5 years our under 12 team will be introduced to first team. This crop it youngsters are incredible. The future of our club is bright. trust me I know how good they are. Paul c

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who thinks spurs are a better team than they were under Harry are a joke Harry did not rely on bale all the time like they did last season I know early days but spurs don't seem to have a spark certainly can't play the way they have over last 5 years

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip, if they were to become the best midfield in the country big clubs would just come and take them

Agree0 Disagree0

Question is will Barkley be with us in 5 years? Realistically, if he continues to improve, probably not. He might be being compared to Gerrard on the pitch, but off the pitch I doubt he will have the same loyalty. Hope in wrong.

Hank

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree it will be hard to keep him but if we have any ambition we must or call it a day tom efc
