Ed - Any chance that lazy journalists from the sloppy Daily Mail and comics as the Daily Star can be totally barred from Goodison Park forever - they make up things anyway so their abscence shall not be missed. On to better things - the team have shown a great appreciation for winning and assumed a winning mentality. Things for the future - Bony I think would be good signing. Traore should be an interesting addition if the team use his skills on the floor. Trickier would be what to do about Baines. You need 2 good feet to play in midfield - he's got a great left foot but Barkley is effortless with both feet. Will Baines achive that standard? Gareth a definite. Sooner than later what's to be done re central defensive options. To gain that step up to the CL I do not have the coaching knowledge to affirm that or this so I rely on gut instinct. Great teams always have a top scorer and a rock of a defence. Bony then and who else?

I agree with you Ed that Bony and Remy would be a frightening combination.
Trouble is Remy looks Gooners bound.

With a bit more tinkering I really think we could break the top 4 up and land a place.
This time next year there could be eight teams battling for these spots.
About time Prem league was livened up and we played our part in the livening!

And Bony will now be 25 million not 11 million like last year when I said we should have signed him. plus every team in the Champions League will be interested.

Hey Ed025, unfortunately he didn't listen. But perhaps that's because he was new and hadn't heard about me? If you would like to pass on my details, I will share my opinions with him on future footballing decisions. And Bretto. he was top scorer in the Dutch League, so I think a few knew about him there. Swansea did and I am not sure their coaching staff have more people in Holland than us?

Hi blues and eds, I'd like to ask you if you could stop posting all the so called liverpool fans posts that try to underestimate us and attack us by the way we play and saying things about us that haven't got any kind of sense.
When I enter this site I like to read the thoughts of us blues, not some stupid argument by a "kopite" that hasn't got anything else more interesting in his life that go on a site to try to bother other people. I recommend to all of these so called reds to find a friend or even buy a life.

Everton must have no fans at all there is people wearing their tops in the stadium but they sing for the other team even though they have a chance of winning a place in the cl a small chance it was I know but still maybe you need liverpool to fail more than you need Everton to move up into the elite part of the league standings you lot seriously have to get over your hatred of the top team in liverpool I even seen 1 of your fans posting could we really handle the cl that says it all really no ambition small club mentality were on the up you have to give some of your top performers back to their clubs and Thursday Sunday football for as long as you last in the europa probably not long anyway if your last stint in the cl qualifiers is anything to go by.

The all knowing ed025 has spoken I take it we may as well forget about playing next season as for me if your beat before you even start what's the point, but imo we will be competitive at highest level of the game you lot are happy to be above or do well in the Darby which usually you don't like 1999 since you won at anfield. so our objective this season was to qualify for the cl done that your primary objective was to be above us failure and you lot are laughing at us and when somebody answers you back in a banter page you call him bitter I think your fans have come across very bitter in the last few weeks with their need for us to fail in are genuine title bid over powering what would have been great for your club to be in amongst Europe's elite clubs next season do you lot support Everton r hate liverpool.which has the most importance well you are known as the bitters.

I couldn't get past the first few lines of that rant because the absence of comma's and full stops made me pass out from lack of oxygen. Once I came around I did wonder how you'll cope in the league with the added rigors of European football next season. Unfortunately I think you know you had an advantage over the other title contenders without the midweek games this season and this was your one and only shot at the title so it must be a real big blow Tommy and (without sounding sarcastic, but being sarcastic) I really feel for you Tommy. You've had a good season though granted.

So you don't like banter coming your way you are too sensitive I'm not allowed to my opinion even though there's certain alleged Everton fans coming on our site any chance they get I don't know what you lot will do if west ham r villa managed to win at city clutging at straws maybe but stranger things have happened.

Well tonight's result should put an end the red rubbish claims of the title heading for Anfield.
At 3-0 you would have thought Brenda would have made the substitute changes to protect the lead and see out the game. But no he decided to go out and score 6, forgetting that he had a dodgy defence. The sight of the water rat blabbing like a baby at the end, made my night. Hopefully City will now take a full 6 points to see off this shower. Once and for all.
City fan on Saturday, Palace fan on Monday and back to being an Everton fan next Sunday. COYB
