My missus is head over heels in love with him. @ the Ed. My missus was a kopite when I met her. 8 years and 2 sons later she is a proper blue, even comes the games (sometimes) and shouts at the ref and stuff : When I took her to her first game (Villa home) and the fella in front jumped up when we scored and punched her in the kipper and made her lip bleed. She was 7 months pregnant and in tears. I left her to get over it while I hugged the lad in front because we had scored. Izzaguere isn't good mate, even most celtic fans will tell u he has been poor this season and that's in the spl
Izzy is a very good player but hasn't got back to his best after bad injury, better going forward/ attacking than as an outright defender mind you, but is still good defender, can get caught out of position due to bombing up the pitch, in saying that if he gets back to his best wouldn't want him leaving

Just wanna say if we do get kone at £5mil then I got to say its a decent bit of business but not enough to fire us into the top 4, there were never going to be any transfers until martinez got he's backroom staff sorted, now that's all done, if he gets the transfers he wants in quicker than the last day of the season ill back him to the hills.
its bugged me over the last few years to see us scratching and leaving things till the last day of the transfer window to TRY and do some business!

Hi ed, been away for a bit - I like the kit except the badge, shame we've not signed anyone yet. Do you know when the away kit will be released? I think Alcaraz and Kone will be unveiled together sometime over the next 2-3 days, also sounds like Deulofeu on loan is a good possibility. Don't be surprised if both Fellaini and Baines stay, and that's our transfer lot! COYB

Yes they were underneath for a few days but now have reverted back to 'click to view replies'. I preferred it when they were underneath.
Its to save space or things would be dropping off the page too quickly

This Deulofeu kid looks a huge talent! Would be brilliant to bring someone like that to the club even if it is only a loan deal. I think it would be good for Barkleys progression too. Come on Roberto get the deal done!

Any updates on baines or felly ed? I want them both to stay so if the powers that be can get them to extend there contracts then I/we won't be worrying that we are going to lose one or both of them on the last day of the window! Or if felly really wants to go then get it done as soon as but definitely get baines to sign on the dotted line!

Really need to buy this honda guy I think for the price and wages he is a class player and would not get anyone of his ability for under 15 million its win win as the following in Japan would be massive what a massive country to tap into surely the saving made on rent for finch farm will pay for that

Would Milan even use him? If they're just buying him for no other reason and has a strong ambition to join a bigger club then he will just end up being a bench warmer for that season. We have seen big clubs buy well known players to then use them rarely

the whole gerard deulofeu loan seems to keep popping up now, does anyone know if the interest is concrete or do they just know he's good on all football games so want him? would personally like the idea of him coming in on a 2 year loan, he can develop at us while we benefit from his pace and trickery something we are lacking in, would be good to see jelavic with mirallas one side of him deulofeu the other, might get him back to scoring with one touch rather than trying to be mo farah on the wing, if its only a one year loan i say avoid it but 2 years is a winner for both parties, he gets stronger physically and develops as a footballer while we get much needed pace, would have liked to seen us try get bojan too but he's signed another loan deal with ajax this time - {Ed025's Note - the interest is concrete baru, barca want him to go out on loan to develop, and see the EPL as the perfect place, they have decided its to be either us or spurs, due to the style of game we play, there is no buying option though, they really rate this kid mate..

I feel Martinez may play a 4-3-3 formation.
With the current squad I believe it would be:
Howard
Baines, Coleman, Distin, Jags
Gibson, Fellaini, Osman
Pienarr, Anichebe, Mirallas
So basically what we play really just the wingers more foward

If or when felli is sold, martinez should move pienaar to behind the striker, get deulofeu on loan and put him on the wing, then use the money to buy a striker, holding midfielder, and maybe a centre back.
Not sure about Pienaar playing that role mate? Not his type of thing
