Ed0002 will shut me down I'm sure, however there's one number 9 in Europe that we can afford and that might give up champions league for premier league football and that's the lad from Porto. Abo something. He's the number 9 he's the one that could be tempted.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Tarashaj 😂, been asking all over the place on here and social media and no one seems to know where he's gone, the next Shaqiri wasn't he?

Also if anyone has any updates on "wonderkids" Kinsella, Grant, Brewster and Henen I'd love to know.

Makes ya scratch ya head mate. Brought that Mathis in to U23 squad. Played a game, scored and not been heard of again. Shani seems to of blended into the woodwork.

Same with Donkor/ Donker (German lad) , Sambou and Courtney Duffus

Where on earth does everyone vanish to.

How about bringing Tim Cahill back short term, now his contract has ended in Australia, stick him in for the cup tie and his presence alone will attract two to three
Iverpool defenders, still think he can do a short term job for us before he heads off for the World Cup

Worth a punt for the rest of this season along with a striker in the window, be a freebie as well.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed025's Note - i dont think he is up to premier league standards nowadays baz..

06 Dec 2017 18:18:50
Swap Cahill in, Sandro out, short term, he’s still got it Ed just not a 90 min player but would be a good squad addition.

Be worth it just to see the panic on our neighbours if he turns out in the cup game.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, he’s looked after his body and led a healthy life style, I’m struggling to find a fitter player in his age group and if he is going to the World Cup next year, short term this year is worth a punt for a freebie, winning mentality in the dressing room a bonus.

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed025's Note - if he was fit enough he could work as an impact sub i suppose baz..

06 Dec 2017 18:58:48
No, if he had anything left then teams would be all over him, people need to let go, he’s finished, he’s loved and a cult hero and all that but his time is done.

Agree5 Disagree1

07 Dec 2017 08:32:21
I would avoid the term finished as it’s a bit disrespectful in the way it sounds. Not saying you meant it that way. But I would say that for us he was just great. He and Arteta were that good even Mrs ace would watch.

He loves the club and the fans and totally stands for the kind of large hearted player that we have always loved to watch.

But that can’t continue and the best players eventually have to bow out. Martinez would often use the word Icon too cheaply. This would never be the case with our very own icon Tim Cahill.

Hi boys. So on the Liverpool page we've started a thread about a charity football match in the summer of 2018, held in the midlands.
Eds 1 and 2 will be the arm chair managers of the two teams in which we will aim to live stream the match on the sites.
There will be a cut off after the first 50 entries, at which point 30 usernames will be passed onto the eds for them to pick their teams (15 each)
It will be £35 per player, so we raise over a thousand pounds for the eds charities.
If interested, please email benjaminallen1991@hotmail. co. uk and include
Real name
Username
Age
Position
1 strength
1 weakness

We are currently on 20 entries so get in touch asap.

Cheers.

If it was an over fifties, I would be up for it, maybe a yearly fixture, still fit at 54 but not as fast as the next generation :-)

Keep us older generation informed of a seniors charity match, sure some would be up for it.

{Ed002's Note - 54 inches - Ed025 has the same waist as you.}

Love it Ed02, should have said 54 age.

Am I wrong in thinking rooney should not be at old Trafford watching United or is it normal for players to move to other clubs then go watch there old club?

Nothing wrong with it imo, he loves football so why not go and watch a game and I’m sure the only thing he paid for was fuel to get there, oh and the driver.

Yeh imo your wrong, he's gone to watch a match and maybe catch up with friends. No story no problem. He'll obviously still have an affinity to the club.

Quick get the beating stick out we've had 2 wins 2 clean sheets so not much to moan about but I'm sure 1 of the first team players (insert name of whoever is hated this week) was seen buying red Leicester cheese how dare he buy something with red in the title clearly not commuted to our club and clearly trying to bring us down from the inside surely must be hung drawn and quartered before the weekend.
