Everton's squad for the Europa League group-stage has been registered with UEFA.
It comprises two sections: List A and List B.

List A has the aged-over-21 players PLUS the aged-under-21 players who haven't yet been with Everton for two years.

List B has the other aged-under-21 players,
Players can be added to List B if needed, but not to List A (except for goalkeepers who can be temporarily replaced subject to approval in the event of long-term absence of the originally registered goalkeepers) .

Because of UEFA's rules about homegrown (association-trained and club-trained) players and about aged-under-21 players, the squad list is different from our registered 25-man Premier League squad.

The squad can be changed (within limits) at the end of the January transfer window.
For now, the squad is as follows. Some interesting inclusions and exclusions in my opinion.

List A (23 players) :
GK (3) - Pickford, Stekelenburg, Robles.
DF (6) - Baines, Keane, Williams A., Jagielka, Martina, Coleman.
MF (11) - Schneiderlin, Barkley, Mirallas, Lennon, McCarthy, Gueye, Sigurdsson, Klaasen, Besic, Vlasic, Lookman
FW (3) - Sandro, Rooney, Calvert-Lewin

LIst B (4 players) :
Holgate, Connolly, Kenny, Davies.

Interesting that Barkley has been included. Can't play for two teams in the same competition.

What if the club he joins in January is still in the Champions League (and not in the Europa League) ? Wouldn't he be eligible to play for them?

{Ed002's Note - no.}

Great info BobbyC are there limits to the number of players that can be on these lists A and B? Is list A limited to 25 like the Premier League?

Coleman is on the list - and only 23 are listed, why not Bolasie?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Bolasie is not due back before January.}

interesting ed, farhad said on sky that coleman and bolasie be back in October and December respectively, could of course be mistaken, thanks ed!

{Ed001's Note - he might be back in training etc, but it is very unusual for a player who suffers an ACL injury to be anywhere near the player they were for a season or more.}

Hi lads, seen on sky sports news that Seamus was training with Ireland today obviously he isn't going to play but has anyone heard if he is due back sooner than expected.

He is back training though, saw an article the other week that he was back training and Koeman mentioned it in a press conference, what level of training I don't know but it's positive.
