The Dodger stadium in Los Angeles will be where we take on Madrid. let's hope we're artful on the night because after the Juventus match we're all saying to RM, 'Please sir. can I have some more?'
As for future transfers, he might have to 'pick a pocket or two' to raise the cash! (I just need to try and get out more and maybe professional help).

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What the Dickens!
We all have Great Expectations for the football under RM.
No more will Goodison be a Bleak House for lovers of attacking football.
Hopefully, the Premier League title will be more than just a Tale Of Two Cities (Manchester and London).
I just wish our finances weren't a tale of Hard Times. {Ed025's Note - love it sid..

Great reply. how far can we stretch this thread out?!

Seriously hope we do well this season, every time we lose I live in a Bleak House.

A Classic

My sister Carol might visit this Christmas if her scrooge of a husband will let her - but she doesn't support Everton, or even like football.

I think getting us in this tournament was a master stroke by the club, getting to go head to head with some of the worlds best and actually competing with and getting the better of these teams, could show some of our more attractive players that if we pull together and get qualification for Europe then they could achieve their goals with efc! Regardless of how this tournament turns out in where we finish I am still very positive for this season and looking forward to seeing us go out to kill teams off, which we are very capable of doing! Believable0 Unbelievable0

Top post that, Shabba. It's good to see fans taking on the positives of our forthcoming season. Good point about the players seeing that they can compete against the best in the world. When I think back to previous pre-seasons & the teams we played, it's no wonder that some players thought they were, at best, just treading water! Bring on Real Madrid!

Ed just a quick question Moses was valued at 8 mill by Chelsea we have around 15 mill left to spend according to people on here but yet the deal collapsed because we could not afford him and Chelsea refused to loan him to us do you know what's happening or what we really have left to spend cause now were being linked with players worth 10 mill or more just a little bit confused by it all. {Ed025's Note - in my opinion stef, bobby is playing the waiting game mate, if chelsea get rooney, the price for moses will plummet, its a bit of a game, a dangerous one, but one that is played by most of the less wealthy clubs..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I want bobby be away from Chelsea, Manu, Arse because they will make business involve to our player. Like you wanna loan Moses I guess Mourinho will get it involve felli buying.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see Moses coming in on loan on deadline day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourano has been impressed by him more than anyone made both goals in last game no chance of gettinghimnow

Agree0 Disagree0

Heads up on Moses - IMO.

Chelsea have 6 attacking midfielders:
Hazzard, Moses, Mata, de Bruyne, Schurlle, Moses.

In support of a 4:2:3:1 formation the club needs 6 players. Moses has played well last few games, prior to that I did think Chelsea would replace him. However, Thorgan Hazzard had a good season on loan and is again on loan this season. He will be 21 next March and if he continues to excel he will become part of the squad for 2014/15, at which point Moses may be sold.

BUT NOT BEFORE

Agree0 Disagree0

What about Oscar, lampard, and Lucas piazon who may be loaned out also and van ginkel so Inall that's 10 attacking mids so I think there maybe a chance they would loan him out on deadline day

Not a rumour like but. Its good to see that the majority of blues are highley positive as we should be, there are exciting times ahead. With the sqaud we have got know, we are European league contenders. A couple of players like McCarthy, Matri and Moses and we should be able to challenge for CL!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have a good team and I expect the football to be exciting but a cl place will be even harder this year

Why are we not looking at Defoe. He always scores goals and would fit in with RM way of playing. Any thoughts ed toffeegaz {Ed025's Note - i think he would fit in gaz, but its ultimately bobbys decision who we go for, i also think getting him out of london would be a challenge mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not saying you in particular Gaz but people complained that Alceraz is 30, Kone is 30, but want defoe who is. 30?

I don't get it

Do you think there is anymore signings for the Blues ed?
AlexSmithEFC {Ed025s Note - i do you know alex, there is still money there to be spent, its just getting the right players in, but i will leave that to bobby...he seems to know what hes doing mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With the amount of assists being supplied by bains, Coleman, pienar, Gibson, miralas, osman and barkley. Believe me kone and jellyfish. Will score a lot of goals

I am really looking forward to start of season now to watch our new style under Roberto. I just hope we keep hold of everyone, I think if Heitinga does go we need to get another cb to replace him if we playing 3 cb's but I think 3 at the back will suit Johnny. I also think we need 1 CM just to cover Gibson & Fellaini for injuries&suspensions. I hope our strikers have got the firepower to get us top four I know we will have goals from midfield but we need one of them to get around 20 goals to finish off the chances created, I do have faith in Jelavic coming good under Roberto and open minded about Kone. We may just have the variation we need Jelavic - predator. Kone - pace in behind. Anichebe - power hold up ball bring others into play. Velios - Target man threat from crosses etc. {Ed025's Note - i would like to see another forward brought in robbie, for me mate its all about goals, if we get a 20+ centre forward, who knows what we could achieve..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Spot on Ed. Teams with 20+ goal strikers usually achieve. But I've not given up on jelly being that man. I just hope he gets a chance to show bobby that he can do it.

I can't wait for the start of the season, I can see us playing some exciting stuff. And scoring goals.

COYB
Toffee ace {Ed025's Note - if jelly can be that guy ace, i will be made up mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets have it rite ed it highly unlikely he gona go buy a striker of that quality 20plus goals when we have vic jela an kone maybe am wrong but I think he tring to find a cm more than anything an to the post above I agree we will need to strenghting if johhny leaves but let's not forget stones an duffy COYB
DUCKY SMURF {Ed025's Note - thats just my view ducky, as i see us creating oodles of chances this season, if someone we already have steps up to the plate, then all well and good. its a pity bob latchford was born 30 years too soon...he would have won us the league mate.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

On the hettinga point, I don't think he would be any better in a back 3, his mistakes prob wuddent stand out as much because he's got two to clean up for him but when he played last year whoever he was partnered with was doing 80% of the defending.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hear Defoe is being linked to QPR. Now he is a proven 20 goals a season striker. Surely we can persuade him to move away from the smoke for 2 years and get us in the Champions league?

Did anyone notice on the mirrallas interview on everton website that when he said he was looking forwards to scoring more goals the interviewer immediately said "and more assists?"
Which of course he agreed with

Was that a subtle way of saying sometimes he needs to pass a bit more?

Seemed an odd question to me

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who cares mate serouisly tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I imagine most everton fans 'care' whether Everton are missing some opportunities because one of the strikers is a bit on the greedy side

Mirrallas is a really good player - I love his goals - but I think some people are noticing some of the excellent missed opportunities that are not taken by Kev's slightly one track mind - hence the interview question, which I've never heard another interviewer ever say to a player before

looks to me like it's been noticed

Agree0 Disagree0

I did notice he was speaking very good English, where did that come from?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its all about finding a balance, players that are a bit greedier on the ball, i. e messi, ronaldo, bale, all at times play for themselves and that's why there the best because they also know when to pass
