If Manchester United want Jack Rodwell and Arsenal want Leighton Baines + Phill Jagielka i reckon we should do swap deals :)

Right, we need to be straight here, there is no way that valencia or wishire would come to everton and at the moment leighton bains is worth a lot more that carlos vela. so whoever said "i reckon we should swap" needs to have a rethink, out of those 3 players 2 of them are some of our best players and rodwell is a very bright prospect, i still can't understand why people want us to sell our best players for lots of cash, cash that we would have to spend right away to replace those players, lets keep the squad we have and sell the unused players to add a bit more quality.

We won't let that many players go if any are let go, wilshire won't happen

Crazy talk, would rather have Park than Valencia any day of the week, and Vela is rubbish as are most of the Arsenal squad, otherwise they would not have been so lacklustre for the past 6 seasons, what have some of you been smoking to get some of this stuff from

If you look on the Wikipedia Miroslav Klose page it says he has signed for Trabzonspor. Thats him out the window then. On the everton website it says we are looking at Craig Mackail Smith from Peterborough. Getting a bit fed up with our getting linked with players from lower leagues. I would rather keep the Yak then buy him. Getting rid of Anichebe would be high on my list, whats his goalscoring record?? 7 goals in 91 games! That i am afraid is pathetic, you might as well put Distin up front.

Honestly I wouldn't like bothroyd in my team atall, He's just another jermaine beckford, I'd like either Klose or Owen in my team two quality experienced strikers who get goals, which is what we need!

Ba is a great striker which would really add something to the team its to bad he wants to much money.

Stop chattin out ur ass beckford has scored more than owen and has more chance of being fit now beckford has settled hell improve for next season, bothroyd wouldn' t be bad hes quick and strong which is exactly what you need.

Yes beckford is probably going to great next season. Owen has been fit all season for United but with the likes of Rooney, Berbatov and Hernandez in the team He has been unable to get a game, and a game is what he wants. I would rather go for an experienced striker (OWEN) who can get goals, than wait one whole season for a player (BOOTHROYD) to hopefully step up to the next level.

Ed, obviously nothing concrete yet but what new names are the most likely to be seen at goodison next season? anything other than barton and bothroyd? {Ed011's Note - Not really, there are so many rumours but nothing concrete,the only one we have made a move for and had discussions with is Klose, who was impressed with the blues and is weighing up his options

Cant see moyes moving for mckail smith, pressure started to mount after Beckford turned in a few stinkers earlier in the season and he'll be hesitant to take another such risk. Id prefer him to bag bothroyd for free, would add another dimension. Klose would be unreal! always had him down as a typical Utd type player. Would'nt be shocked to see fergie or vulture redknapp snap him up!

ed what you think about selling rodwell for 20 milion to man utd and have berbertov as well as the 20 milion {Ed001's Note - I don't think Berbatov would fit the style of play, he would also want massive wages, I just don't see it as a move that makes sense for Everton.}

But he is lazy and we wouldn't be able to pay the wages, we need someone who works hard for the team as well as score goals, also why does everybody seem happy that we might sell bains, rodwell or fellaini, i don't want to see anyof these go, we can raise enough funds by selling unwated and unused players {Ed011's Note - i agree with you

Hope Bainsey stays but it will be hard for us to keep hold of him if we don't have a major investor or transfer, don't mind Rodwell leaving it will be a shame but it will provide us with money for key signing!
What are your thoughts Edd? {Ed011's Note - I seriously think we could keep all our top players, if any had to go i think Rodwell is the most despensible, we could sign a quality replacement and have money left over.

Edd what is this i'm hearing about both Klose and Barton signing by the end of next month? {Ed011's Note - Both a possibility, barton isn't going to stay at Newcastle and Klose is seriously considering coming to the blues, i would personally like them both.
