Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Look at the problems (as far as a game goes not life, touch of reality needed) we have, then look at the rumours of incomings. Does Wiltshire solve the free scoring area in front of our goal. Will Fonseca solve our Management structure (odds on him even contemplating us fiscally impossible) .

It seems we are safe now so why not mess around with the team. Give some of the fringe players a run till the end of the season. Whether or not SA remains it would at least be of benefit to know exactly what we have to work with and what needs to be done.

Horrible first half for us and I'd like to say I'm shocked but to be honest I'm not. City are a different class. This could end up 6 7 or 8 nil.

Where are you mate? From where I sit (admittedly had a few) this is awful, don't give a monkeys how good a side is and especially knowing how good they are, pick a side with A. Bottle and B. Legs. Above all listen to your coaches and training Staff. Play two lads as protection and playmakers in front of the back 4, one with no legs and the other whose confidence is completely shot and the oppositon will have a field day. An opposition of City's ability will not get out of 2nd gear.

Men against boys, no fight, no technical skills, no spirit . God help us next week . embarrassed.

Horrible
Beaten by a very good City side but we didn't compete. It was embarrassing. We can't play like that next week - it would be a slaughter.

To answer DFS I think it's awful too. They should be playing better and trying harder but I think this season has shown the level that the majority of this particular squad can play at. Unfortunately it's a million miles away from the likes of City. Add to that poor decisions by mediocre management we are lucky to be on 40 points. City taught us a lesson today, and all I'm saying is I'm not surprised.

Rooney, snids in midfield against city what did we really think was going to happen, rooney could do a job against the lower teams but not city, and it shows how desperate we are getting that we have to play him there, if rooney is to slow up front, how did SA think he would be quick enough to keep up with the city midfield. why was Davis left out, why was dcl In the team now sigs is out, none of it made any sence, to beat city you have to first stop there midfield, obviously S. A. did t realise this when he left them to do what ever they wanted.

Don't get me wrong I doesn't think we would get anything from this, but why not try something different instead of snids, why not Davis, klaasson and bang in the middle, something different than the same team same results.

Couldn't agree more Simon, 2 slow poor midfielders aren't going to cope with De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling and Sane. Why was DCL starting? Like the lad a lot but it made no sense. The only game we start with 2 strikers is against City, good thinking batman. It seemed like DCL was actually playing centre mid. Then the divvy brings benni on (who should of started) and Niasse, for DCL and Tosun. He is clueless. When it went to 3-1 he should of brought Klassen and Niasse on for Schniederlin and DCL and we should of gone for it. The managers an embarrassment and so are half the players. The lack of effort was disgraceful today.

You were there Ed, I have no idea what size shoe you take but I reckon both of ours combined are not going to improve this lad. After today and looking like a little boy lost, his best choice is another Club.

{Ed002's Note - Ed025 does not where shoes. Like Ed007 he is gifted with incredibly soft and think hair on the soles of his feet.}

Just been watching the SSN debate on Big Sam and will he carry on as Everton Manager after this season epic, Jeff Stelling reckons he has done a good job and should continue, the four others think he will he will be gone citing the fact that the fans will dictate to Mr Moshiri what happens next and not wanting to start the next season with Big Sam in charge, mmmmmmmmmmmmm fingers x he goes for me.

I think if we finish 7th he will stay. Other than that he will probably go GB. I would imagine he will play the same tactics every season until we reached 40 points.

He will get 3 today mate, big win 3-1, and a win against LittlePool and then we will be stuck with Sam? (City v pool midweek will help)

He'll struggle to get 1 never mind 3 and that's only going to happen if we lock City in the changing rooms for 90mins.

3-0 down and 4 or 5 pints down as I speak. Embarrassing, anyone who dares tell me Schneiderlin is a player, don't bother. How the heck can you match a player with no bottle with a player with no legs and expect them to protect the back 4. This is basic Sunday Morning tactics when against a far superior Team, pick a Team with legs.

Thoughts are with Ray Wilkins and his family at this difficult time. Hope he pulls through too young to have seen him as a footballer but sounds like a really good guy and pundit x.

Smalling, Wilshire, Tierney and Fonseca or Eddie Howe would do for me .
Good basis to start next season on without going mad on spending and IMO good solid personal.
Just scared if we keep on spending money like it's going out of fashion well end up ****ed ( Everton aren't we) . Never going to work for us!
Back to basics without going mental, with good players who'd walk into our team and reasonably priced and good a age .
Opinions anyone? think I'm being realistic and not too far fetched but sure someone will shoot me down. UTFT.

Wiltshire and Smalling represent a backward step, Fonseca has better offers on the table and Eddie Howe has no desire to come up north. Yer man from Newcastle for me as Manager. Garbutt as back up for Baines, Kenny for Coleman. Tosun is a good striker but needs the line of feed.
