Did Baines get any crossing in tonight, can't remember if he did, and does RM ever sit down during the game, he must be more tired than the lads.

What's everyone think of my song for Lukaku?
In the style of Agadoo,
Luka ku ku ku, he's f##kin built like a tree,
Luka ku ku ku, he'l score 1, 2 an 3,
Oh he looks great great great in our royal blue jersey! {Ed025's Note - dont give up the daytime job mate.. ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So we have to get dresses up in 80's clothes and wear stupid blonde mult wigs and and do that stupid dance as we sing?

Agree0 Disagree0

What about .
luka ku ku ku, will you score a goal for me
luka ku ku ku either 1 or 2 or 3
with your left, with your right, with your head or with your knee
come and sign for the blues and forget about chelski

Roberto is so honest and respectful when interviewed and if he is the same in the changing rooms and training paddock then players will want to join us

He seems to know football inside and out and let's not forget has been a manager for a number of years now. He appears humble but respectful and let's be honest has fitted like a glove at Everton.

Still early days I know, but let's hope we continue to improve and enjoy the football that we are playing.

Carry on like this our Billionaire backer may just come out of the woodwork and buy us Lukaku! Lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Our billionare back might buy deulifolue. As well has lukaku

Brilliant first half thought we took are foot off the gas second half got to give Newcastle some credit though they got at us {Ed025's Note - we well deserved the win jab, and i know its hard to be critical, but is it me, or is jags really struggling to play this system?...most of the guys look comfortable with it, but jags and even bainsie to some extent seem to be less than au fait with it..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Have to agree with you Ed. I think Bainsey is struggling between holding or flying down wing and because we hold the ball a lot more and dare I say this pass backwards and sideways it has become hard for him to find right balance. I think he also misses the understanding he had with Peaunuts, but if he wants to become a better player he will need to adapt as will Jags otherwise when Alcaraz is fit, I think he may well feature as Roberto is a fan of his. (If he can stay fit enough)

Gr8 to get win. Tight second half. Newcastle got out of the blocks.

Newcastle harassed our back 5, which dented our fluidity.
Gareth Barry was left exposed a few times, where his lack .of pace showed but he was fairly solid.

Ross Barkley is going to be world class if he carries on developing and Lukaku was superb 1st half. Personally I thought he dropped to deep 2nd half, but I understand he was trying to help the defence, but to my mind took pressure off their back four.

Young deflo looks like he can ghost past players at will but he needs the ball in front of him.

Bainsey looked a little off colour tonight, but maybe its because we are attacking down the right a lot more.

I also think Kevin M didn't look to happy being subbed, but I could be wrong.

If I was marking the performance across the 95 mins, I would give us 7.5/10.
Room for improvement, but a wins a win. COYB

How good is Coleman, tell me again how much did he cost and what's he worth now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Couldn't agree more. We all like to laugh at Moyes' current failings, but have respect for some of the players he (and of course his scouting team) has brought to the club and the shape he has left us in.

As for Seamus himself, a £150k buy has turned into, going by today's market, at least a £10m-£15m player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought we got him for 60k even at150 still one of the best buys ever

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think there's any official disclosed fee, but most places say £150k, although I heard £60k from one or two commentators. I think it's just a matter of take your pick.

What a bargain even at 150,000K, that is what Barry is on a week lol

I agree also that he must be valued at 10-15 million already, need to sign him up for longer if not already done so

A win's a win but a poor second half. Worrying that Fulham changed tactics in second half and we couldn't respond - same tonight. We just couldn't get hold of it in midfield. Was Jagielka actually on the pitch? Great goals but awful defending. Joe.

We missed Gibson in the second half, osman had a good first half but very poor second. Mirallas looked a different player after he got whacked, maybe injured or just a girl ( didn't moyes say the sane ) all in all, lots of good but some poor. life as a evertonian.

Like the way were mixing it up. Lots of short passing, then the long ball when it's needed, not allowing Newcastle to settle, and look good on the break. Hopefully the big man goes on to get his hatrick.

Wot can u say about that 1st half. Bloody excellent. Wot I like is that all the players seem comfortable in their roles. To coin a phrase we look a team.
The link up play is excellent, always looking for space.

We can also play two styles. Long ball target man along with on the deck football running lines and channels.

If i'm going to be critical sometimes we play a few risky balls to one another in middle, but heh who am I to quibble about that based on the 1st half.

Lets hope we keep foot on gas. I hope lukaku gets a hatrick.

Osman has been a great for the team but look how much more threatening Deulofeu starting on the right side would be. Come on RM!

Cheers mate

5-4 to us with Bainesee scoring 35 yard free kick in injury time

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate, it won't be your night tonight - or at least it shouldn't be going by the two teams. Newcastle have very good players, but don't seem to be able to get anything going.

I watched your match vs. West Ham and every shot you had (apart from the Gouffran shot late on) came from Ben Arfa (who I think is one hell of a player), and more so from outside the box.

I think 4-1 (no offence, it's just that we are on the very brink of giving a team a heavy defeat, and I think it'll happen today), but that is due to the facts of what I said in the last brackets as well as the game being under the lights at Goodison - which makes it even harder for the visiting team.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Just a shame you left no name.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate it's going to be our night tonight.

And although I agree with Keith that we are on the brink of giving someone a right going over, I don't think it will be tonight (although I would love to be wrong about that!) So I am going 2-0 for us.

Good luck to you Toons for the rest of the season (reverse fixture excepted of course ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Keith EFC & WtG - I am looking forward to coming back here at 10pm and laughing at you, for making such predictions.

''I think 4-1'' LMAO - who do you think you are playing tonight?

Watch this space! {Ed025's Note - i agree mate...as if your going to score?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmfao Ed.

Tip to Anon Magpie: we're a team on here. You need something better than that.

Agree0 Disagree0

And BTW, I think we're playing a French speaking team full of players who are bad enough to be beaten 4-1 tonight. That's obvious isn't it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Looking forward to your 10pm visit mate!

Looks like you were right Keith. LMAO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet your not laughing at the 4-1 prediction now.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to admit, I may have been a little bit harsh predicting 4-1. Perhaps I should have predicted 4-0.

And Newcastle's best chance came from a shot from outside the box by Ben Arfa - exactly what I said in my first reply in this post.

I don't want to speak too early, but I look forward to seeing you at 10pm.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well as I write this its 22:07.and the Newcastle fans still hasn't been on to celebrate his teams win.maybe not 4-1 but its still a loss for em and us still unbeaten

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep, it would seem our toon friend is not so eager to return.

Mind you not what I expected at half time and I've got no finger nails left after the last 5 minuets, but we are 4th and still unbeaten. Bring on City!
