The worst thing about Saturdays injustice is we have to wait two weeks before we can put things right. I hope, but dont expect they will over turn Rodders red card which will be a crime. Either do I suspect MR Athkinson to apologise for his glaring mistake. I felt we were just getting on top when he made that blunder. All that said I was proud of the boys and think we will be ok this season. COYB.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Mr Atkinsons mistake? is that he unpunished Hibbet challenge or the Fellaini challenge?

Agree5 Disagree4

I think we will come good and we will be challenging for the europa league places, hopefully we can have a good cup run as well

Agree2 Disagree2

We must get back on track and try for a point at chelsea and then hopefully 3 against fulham

Agree0 Disagree1

Fellaini and Hibbert challenge weren't red cards, they were yellow cards but not red !!

Agree2 Disagree3

Hibbert was a red card , fellani was a yellow and i think you should be ok this season . avoiding relegation for everton is like liverpool winning 4th spot , how your two clubs have fallen . man utd fan

Agree1 Disagree2

Shut up ya little devil

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok that challenge wasn't a red card but there was one that was for sure.
Coin and bottle throwing was disgusting and shameful and the idiots court on tv at every corner just shows immaturity.. All this is a massive embarrassment to Everton football club. Honour, respect was lost and the club should be fined. Any future protential buyer watching this match must of been put off. No wonder there is no interest {Ed025's Note - i agree mate, its not nice to see, frustration, and a sense of injustice led to fans behaving in a way, that is not befitting of a great club like ours!..

Fantastic from Rodwell. I hope he moves on from this refereeing blunder, for me he has been playing very well recently and him and Fellaini are looking calm and collected with some newly found bite which i think is imperative.

I hop Rodders ignores Atkinson and gets even more aggression and tenacity to his game. The boy is starting to get it. Fellaini is a class act. Barkley will get there.
Keep it up Jack.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Rodwell could really become an important player for everton this season, lets hope the appeal over the sending off is successful

Agree3 Disagree1

Rodders and barkley have great futures at everton, they are both class.

Agree2 Disagree2

Them two have great futures but sadly not at everton , unless bill sells up

I have not been a fan of Coleman for a while, but he had a good game against QPR first match. Since then back to awful in last few games.
He consistently lost the ball yesterday and never looked like getting the better of his defenders.
Gueye and Drenthe must wondr what's going on when Coleman gets picked ahead of them. Moyes has his favourites and Coleman and Cahill (not scored in almost a year) are two of them.

We have to play Gueye and Drenthe on the wings and two of Feli/Rodders/Barkely in the middle.
Saha plus either Denis / Vellios or Osman for the last spot.
Coleman is a squad player for when we play leser teams and we need to giver Gueye or Drenthe a rest.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Drenthe has shown enough from his substitute appearances that he deserves to start the next game, i think he will chip in with a few goals as well this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman is a right-back and would be more suited to that role. I'll never forget when he was forced come on in the 2-2 draw against Spurs at goodison, a couple of seasons ago now. He ruled the right hand side when he had a running start and nothing got past him. He can't, however, seem to beat his man from being stationary sadly. Thats why he's failing slightly further up the pitch.... Gueye and Drenthe is a must for me too with Barkley in the middle. I still don't see the Rodders thing tho... I'm trying but nothing yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gueye deserves a chance, he looks to have all the attributes of a top player

Bez the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman didn't play against QPR mate. I do agree though, his form hasn't been great lately and Gueye or Drenthe deserve a run of games.
The cahill situation is a funny one, i know he hasn't scored for almost a year but he was away with Australia for 6 weeks and was then injured for a while. Then he was played as a striker for a while which he can't play as.
With a fit Saha as a striker and Cahill playing behind him i think he still has a lot to offer. Stick with him and see what happens.
Howard
Hibbert or Neville
Jagielka
Distin
Baines

Drenthe
Fellaini
Rodwell
Gueye

Cahill
Saha

This for me is a decent side that can easily get us up near the top 7 and into a europa spot. Attacking with the likes Drenthe, Gueye, Cahill and Saha and defensivily solid with Fellaini and Rodwell in the middle. I'd love to see it but im not sure moyes has the bottle to play an attacking team from the start which is shame

we where poor yesterday and deserve to in the drop zone after that performance think its time to change everyone at the top not just kenwright but moyes and the back room staff must go and jags was a joke yesterday im sick of my beloved blues slip away into the bottom the scum bags play better then us and we have to start being honest with ourself's where turning into a selling club and where not going to win anything until we stop selling are best players where not going to stand a chance of winning anything we have a fantastic youth system and at the end of the season when all our players our injured we call upon the young lads who have a blinder and then the whole of the next season is about them not the club its wrong and stupid your club should be bigger then any players we bring trough does anyone agree with me

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Not a word! If we did what you suggest, we'd soon end up as another Sheff Utd. Considering our finances we are doing fantastically well & are respected by all the people in football who matter, (apart from stupid refs, obviously!)
And, by the way, please start using punctuation & upper case in your posts. It would make them much easier to read.

Are you serious mate !? We played poor ? We were the better team for the first 20 minutes, the player's were up for it, we were first in the tackle and playing a high tempo, we had 2 great chances from Cahill and Distin and a shot from Saha that went wide, after the first 20 i said to me mate were gona win this !
Then the ref got bored and wanted to get himself in the lime light so sent Rodwell off and the game was ruined.
If we play Drenthe and Saha from the start in the next few games i think we will pick up some points, and then people like you will be on here singing the manager and player's praises !! Always happens
We are Everton, we back our player's through thick and thin ! COYB

Agree4 Disagree2

If it had stayed 11 versus 11, we would have won the game, but 10 versus 12 is not fair

Agree1 Disagree2

We played poor?! You a kopite posting on the wrong site?

Agree2 Disagree1

11 v 11 i have to say, for the first time in a derby in a while i wasnt too worried about liverpool. I thought we matched them in midfield. Carroll is useless, suarez is terrifying granted, but jamie is dodgy these days.
11 v 11 would have at least drawn.

The sending off killed us, plain and simple. Jag's looked like the occasion got to him cos he had the arm band on. Also Saha's head went down after Rodder's went off. Cahill would have got his goal but for a fantastic save from Reina. Moyes must go? Were you sniffing glue when you wrote this? (Wavertree Blue)

Royston impressed me yesterday, he showed some really promising things and looks to have a good range of skills. I'd love to see him on one wing and Barkley on the other, quite an exciting prospect. We need to find a solution to our lack of invention in possession.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Royston, saha and fellaini were the blues best players yesterday, i hope they all start the next game

I thought saha played well today, he looked lively, had a couple of good shots and looked backto his best, hopefully we will see some goals from him in the next few games

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Saha played well,we need him back to his best as we are not blessed with goalscorers

Bez the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Saha worked really hard and i am sure he will have a point to prove after being overlooked the other week

Agree0 Disagree0

We have to play Saha from the start in the next few games, i know it was only 20 minutes before the ref sent Rodwell off, but did anyone notice how better and more dangerous Cahill is when a striker plays ahead of him ?
Thats the difference, we all know moyes is always going to play 4-5-1 so this team i think can still get us a europa spot this season;
Howard
Hibbert or Neville Jagielka Distin Baines

Coleman Fellaini Rodwell or Osman Drenthe

Cahill
Saha
