Lemur this day is not the time and place for criticism those fellow Evertonians that flew a plane have there reasons, but it was great to see Bill standing there making a speech and I hope his health is well I really do.

Remember 1964 Cup final my Dad ordered me to support Preston North End (I was 7) as they were nearest to us.
The youngest ever player to play in a cup final Howard Kendal.
Little did I know how that kid would go on to become the legend.
Without that European ban it is beyond doubt he would have taken this club to even greater things in the 90s and beyond.

I was 13 Mushy and funny enough my Dad and Uncle also ordered me to support PNE, all my Uncles family were and are PNE fans. Unfortunately 1964 came to late for me and despite upsetting (some of) the family, I was already a well established Evertonian. Never looked back and despite the European Cup winning side of 85, I still believe the best midfield line I have ever seen was Ball Kendall Harvey.

Interesting article about Gerry on the ssn app. What is everyones opinion of him? I find he is very talented but always seems to want to beat his man 3 times and goes to ground to easily. I do think he is our best winger and his defensive side is improving by way of tracking back. What I do notice is the amount of times he is overlooked for a pass from team mates when he is in acres of space and he then gets frustrated. Is this that his team mates don't trust him to keep possession? I rate him myself and believe he should be a starter as he can produce that incisive cross or ball from nowhere.

I agree bluegray87. He should be passed the ball more. He is more of a team player than he was in my opinion. Does go to ground too easily but that's the Spanish coming out of him. He'll improve more as the season goes on hopefully. Needs game time.

A player who I think should be passed the ball more often as well is Lukaku. Even more so than Del boy. Is it me or will Barkley not pass him the ball. In the Arsenal game I noticed that and mentioned it on this site, seems no one else picked up on it. I thought I could be imagining it but against Norwich I thought there was a couple of times he could of passed to Lukaku as well although not as bad as the Arsenal game.

Leaving Barkley aside I think Lukaku should be getting more passes from everyone on the team. Seems Del boy is the only one who tries to cross the ball. Surely you'd want your striker to get on the ball regular to increase your chances of scoring.

Maybe its directions from Martinez? Maybe I'm seeing something that's not there. Either way I'm interested to see if it continues or how it will go from now on.

Love Doofy Loofy, his crosses are brilliant. The issue is he has times where he can just whip it in but will instead try going past the full back. I'd prefer him to just get it out of his feet and do those crosses. He is improving Defensively.

NBTB, I agree on Ross, his decision making was brilliant at the start of the season and now it looks exactly like last season. Very rare I see Lukaku running on to a through ball as its never played.

Very true about Ross, what am picking up on is maybe he is believing his own hype after 2 decent games for England which was against mediocre opposition.
