Good game today we played well its very rare to say utd spent half of the game hanging on! But we still lost need a goal scorer and our season will vastly improve! No fellani for the newcastle game but drenthe will be back! Who will moyes play instead of felli?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Probably give nev a go in midfield or heitinga

United were hanging on!! Are you kidding me! We spent the whole second half passing sideways. We wouldn't have scored if we had played for 5 hours. Until we put someone in middle in front of Felli and Rodwell that has pace, tricks and an eye for goal, our performances will be the same. Billy and Osman are average players.

result wasnt good but performance was fantastic few bad touches and s**t passes but still good! had utd pegged back in there own half for most of second half, loads of shots on target but same old story cant score! once we find our goal scoring touch were be fine! bily was awful today was hoping he would carry on from where he left off midweek but wasnt to be! saha had another good game! rodwell is improving and nice to see barkley get a chance, really missed drenthe today! anyway unlucky today performance was there if not the result ,got an easier run of fixtures coming up between now and xmas so hopefully get some points on the board and climb up that table! well done today lads!

Rodwell inproving you must be joking he is like a crab sideways and backwards no pace in midfield its going to be a long hard season {Ed025's Note - you said it mate....i have been telling everyone about the lack of pace in our midfield all season!, and if we are not careful, we will get dragged down in the relegation dog fight...i know we have had some hard games, but in this league, every game is hard!, we need to improve...and quick..

Agree2 Disagree3

The ed is spot on , really tough prem this year {Ed025's Note - its because the likes of stoke ,sunderland, newcastle, etc have all strengthened their squads, we would normally expect to finish above these so called mediocre sides, but this year a lot of teams are very equal, and losing can become a habit, i know i can be very pessimistic at times...but i really fear we could be drawn in to the relegation battle this season!.....please write in and tell me im wrong..

Agree2 Disagree1

I'm not quite sure what you are all watching, but Rodwell is playing very well at the moment.
Always making himself available for the ball and not hiding.
The reason he has to go sideways is because there is so much lack of movement from the people in front of him, Saha and Ossie yesterday, that rather than give up the ball by lumping it forward he retains the posession.

Ed get a grip, you're wrong. We've had a really hard run of games against all the big clubs and then we had to play 10 against 12 in the derby. We'll be alright by the end of November, solidly in mid table with a positive goal difference and ready for reasonable set of fixtures throughout December. By January we'll be around the european places and will make a positive buy or two during the window, Felli will have signed his new contract and it's onwards and upwards for a strong finish right to the end of the season. Have faith In Moyes We Trust.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ed, Calm Down Calm Down... very pessimistic is almost an understatement... How about we see where we are after the next 5 games at least before trashing the entire season. Relegation dog fight? Gotta be joking. Yes other teams have strengthened, and top half is now tougher... But there is some serious meat to be eaten in this league. All 3 promoted sides look OK but v poor at the back. Wigan and Blackburn will go into every game not expecting to win. WBA are not the best, Sunderland are having a torrid time, Fulham are hardly amazing. Have you seen who we have just played? see where we stand end of November.

Any reason to why its a 12 oclock kick off against united today? And why its not on Tele :-( {Ed025's Note - its 12 o,clock because, a lot of away supporters are expected, and most of them are loose cannons once they have had a drink!...dont know why its not on telly though...

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Cheers, I just automatically presumed it was on Tele and then was on a downer when I seen it wasn't on {Ed025's Note - no probs..

If this Tata rumour is true we should only go for three players in my opinion:
Yann M'Vila
Christian Eriksen
A striker (not really sure who I'd go for)

With those three we could:
1) Switch to 4-4-2 or even 4-3-3 with Eriksen and Drenthe up with a striker
2) Either sell Fellani and replace him with M'Vila or have him in midfield with M'Vila or M'Vila with any of these 2 in midfield in 4-3-3 formation (Fellani, Osman, Barkley, Cahill, Rodwell)
3) Become a more attacking team
4) Turn our season around or else finish top 6 atleast next season if it happens in the summer

What do you think Ed?
And yes, I need to wake up and stop dreaming {Ed025's Note - i think you should be our next manager!....you seem to want what all us blues are yearning for, attacking football...personally i think we need more than 3, but thats just me being greedy, but dont pin your hopes on the tata rumours, its a log way off imo..
