Hi All.

Saints fan in peace.

Just wondering what the early feeling on Ronald Koeman is so far based on the first third of the season?

Good luck to the blue half of Liverpool for the rest of the season.

Hi Gregg01f. I'm pretty pleased with him. It's always difficult in your first season at a new club especially as one with so many changes as ours over the past 6 months.

Unlike you guys who have been run very well by the board and owners we are in a major transition at the moment. New manager, director of football for the first time, new owner and new ground being undertaken. Plus for the first time having money to burn in the transfer market.

I've got no expectation for this year at all and anything above 11th will do me but I expect bigger things next year.

On another note I really like your new manager. He talks a lot of sense and your football is looking better each game. What are you hoping for yourselves? I don't know how your nerves hold out each year losing top players and managers all of the time. Are you worried one year it may not pay off?

Hi saints fan RK doesn't show much emotion on the touch line was he like that with you, and what do you think of Virgil van Dijk for 40m?

Koeman seems reluctant to give youth a go, and the first 11 here are too old and stale. So far disappointed in RK but early days still.

Hi all good bit of banter that, nice to remember the good times and I am sure we will have them again, do you think a move for the Southampton defender at 40 mill would be good business our owner has said before that it like monopoly money seems a lot to me, but I think that's what it will take if want to upgrade our back four cheers, GuernseyBlue.

I think it would be. he's a proven premier league player and would walk into our starting 11.

I see Niasse scored again for the under 23s surely he must be worth at least the bench as we are struggling even to have a shot on goal let alone SCORE.

Lukaku had 1 touch in their penalty area at Southampton. and 2 in our own penalty area in 90 minutes. Many years ago I played ameteur football. If I only touched the ball once in the oppos penalty area, I would give up!

So just out of interest, who would you like to see sign for us over the next couple of windows? Probably best to be a bit realistic as I have more chance of beating Conor McGregor in a fight than we have of signing Messi and Bale. These are the positions I think we need:

GK, Cover RB, LB, CB, CM, RW/ LW, CAM, ST.

Southampton keeper and that dutch defender. Dolberg strootman sule and i'd go all out for isco. Another striker i'd like is celtics dembele we should have gone for him last year.

On a lighter note. I have heard it said many times that you don't choose to be an Evertonian. Something chooses you and you just become one. Sometimes I think to myself. why the flippin heck did they choose me? I live in Cornwall now so don't get up to seemany games. However, I did do the European games a couple of seasons ago in France and Swizerland. And I usually manage a few home games and maybe 1 away. It costs an absolute fortune. I often come away heartbroken. But just sometimes, something special happens and the feeling of euphoria is amazing. It is those infrequent moments that make it all worthwhile. Locked in at the end of the Young Boys away game and all the guys singing the Ross Barkley song over and over and over and over again. wow! Being right in line with Lee Carsley's curler against the red side. And I had a closet red stood next to me when Gosling's looped in too. he walked out at that presise moment. Icouls go on and on. but you all know what I am on about. Because you are all Blues. You were all chosen just like me. damn!
