Well done to that man Tony Bellew tonight showed what passion is all about wearing the blue and
White of the mighty Everton now let's hope the players show the same fight next season.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - thats the main thing we are lacking B..

30 May 2016 00:16:43
Play him up front, at least he would give 100%. Well done Tony stunning.

Well done Tony bellew; showed them toffees how to fight and win at goodison. Fantastic.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 23:09:47
the old lady rocked tonite, wot an atmosphere incredible makes me proud to be blue.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - it was great stuff paul..

29 May 2016 23:13:26
Tony picked him self up of his back an showed the world how to fight with heart.
Well done bomber lad were all proud of you.

Agree5 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he done a great job shakey and showed the spirit that was sadly lacking in the footballing side of the club last season mate..

29 May 2016 22:10:06
Is it just me but if that was stones who headed the ball past the keeper, the pundits would of crucified him but because it's Dier who played in a great side this season it was a case of it could of happened to anyone, the reason England look so suspect at the back is because we don't do what you need to do in modern day football and that is if you can't win possession back in 5 seconds then you have to get back into a shape.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 23:26:53
Know our defence has been poor this season, but i hold martinez as primeraley responsible, leaveing jags and baines out will come back to bite hodgson in the ass, but as he let's the pundits pick the squad, and unless your wear a red shirt, your out.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its ok though JCW, we have the rock that is chris smalling to rely on mate.. :)

30 May 2016 12:41:06
Im glad Jags and baines aren't going to Euro's they are at the wrong side of 30 and would be much more beneficial to Everton if they had a good break and came back refreshed for pre-seaon and let's face it Everton over England any day of the week. I hope Barkley doesn't go either might give him the kick up the backside side he needs to stop coasting through games.

Is it just me waiting for operation goodison to get announced on the tannoy come on tony.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

30 May 2016 03:37:56
Does anybody even know what the " operation Goodison exercise " actually is haha?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is for the stewards and EMS etc.}

29 May 2016 21:41:46
Speaking with a couple of my kopite mates here and usually I don't take much notice of them but these two are speaking a bit of sense. they tell me the atmosphere at anfield has been poor for a couple of years and since they got kiopp who we can't argue helps get the crowd going their place has lifted and without any new players fans manager and players all rub off on each other (eye eye sailor) they're telling me they think we have a decent squad and with a few additions and a manager that can lift us all we would be a force

Got to say can't really argue with them

I'm also thinking could pellagrini do that I would have a bit of doubt maybe I'm wrong.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 21:05:36
Big dunc soaking up the atmosphere here getting the crowd going I love this man me he's still my Everton no1 legend can't see it ever changing tbh.

29 May 2016 22:30:16
unbelievable Bomber and showed scouse class at the end hugging his opponent, legend.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

30 May 2016 07:32:57
I used to box and the boxing community are an absolutely brilliant bunch of people. Bellew was class pure class, did his job, beat the crap out of the guy then give the guy a cuddle and a kiss, its a job.

29 May 2016 19:18:55
Seen more fight at goodison in the last hour than we did all season.

Replying to jlmcr5some have been on holiday for the last 10 games need I mention his name.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 15:12:07
I'd love pelligrini in charge, if City hadn't annoucned that guardiola would be taking over they would've won the title imo, he has an amazing record at city and we shouldn't really overlook what he did with malaga and their financial restraints.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

29 May 2016 14:47:11
Be weird today doing the matchday ritual and then no footy. Still reckon when z cars plays the place is going to be bouncing. Good luck tonight bomber give us blues a title to celebrate at the old lady tonight.

. ssn reporting that Diego Simeone is considering his future at Athletico after the Champions league final. well, well, well - that could be just in the nick of time them - Farhad, pick your phone up and give this man a call and make our day!

Believable7 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 13:07:59
Simeone would be a disaster.

Agree5 Disagree10

29 May 2016 15:26:55
care to expand on that billscrocodiletears?

Agree2 Disagree0

29 May 2016 16:42:16
i agree with the crock from what i saw yesterday his football is no great shakes. even the commentators were saying that simone never realy has a plan b. sounds familiar [martinez] they also said his sides are always very physical [dogs of war days] and that if athletico went 2.0 down in ANY GAME you would not fancy them to come back and get anything. imo their football yesterday did not convince me AT ALL.

Agree5 Disagree4

29 May 2016 17:20:19
Maybe not convincing? I. e. Not so easy on the eye, but to lose a champions league final on penalties to Real Madrid!

Agree2 Disagree1

29 May 2016 18:00:38
not basing it on just one game. going by what i have said apllies to most of their games judging by what i heard off the commentatyors last nite.

Agree2 Disagree1

29 May 2016 18:29:02
So you's wouldn't want Simeone in charge?

I have only one thing to say to you's, all yawl are insane 😆.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 May 2016 18:49:24
I wouldn't take Simone either. It would be like luzzing a grenade in the dugout. Emery or Moyes for me.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 May 2016 19:23:08
if what i saw last night is the norm and from what i have heard then NO i don't want him in charge.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 May 2016 19:43:45
Would love to know who you all DO want. Two months ago we all wanted Bobby out, now every possible candidate is being kicked down for one reason or another.

Simeone has no plan b, Pellegrini is too old, FDB has no PL experience.

All these guys have won silverware in the last few years and we haven't, so what are you expecting?

Calm down and trust Moshiri. If he can find the Jack Bauer of football managers, I'm sure he will. We've all spent thousands supporting the Blues over the years, but he's spent a hundred million so deserves time to make the right choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 19:58:18
Ok, your entitled to your opinion and I respect that. Not sure if there's many clubs that would reject him as their manager though.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 20:17:16
Haha to say simone is a no is just daft look at his record in la liga and the champions league with the likes of real and barca, we can't get him never mind want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 21:14:01
Had to check the date there. Thought it was Aprils fools.

You just had someone who tried to play pure football and hounded him out and you wouldn't take a la liga winner, eufa cup winner, super cup winner and champions league 2x runner up at your place.

But you'd take 10 year one final moyes. Good god.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 21:56:07
Whoever the commentators were they need a rest. On the budget he's had to win a league title and get to two CL finals is just as miraculous as Leicester's league title win.

The man is an animal and born winner. However, he won't be our manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 22:50:46
Have to agree with those last few comments. How anyone wouldn't want him is beyond me but as I said I respect the opinion of the people who don't want him. I'd explode with excitement if he was our next manager and I haven't got excited in a long time.

Luckily we won't get him so i won't end up exploding.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 11:04:46
poll:who is your manager choice and why?
mine is emery
because he has won 3 european cups and could be the next big thing, his away form is poor but you can't have everything at a 2nd rate team in the spanish league. manager, money, good signings, european cup winners 2018?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 11:13:58
If its anyone out of Pelligrini, Emery, De Boer or Koeman which are the favourites all would be an improvement on our previous manager imho.

All obviously will have their advantages and disadvantages but would be happy with any of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i feel the same NBTB, its all a gamble mate but should be interesting i would think..

29 May 2016 11:26:36
No matter what this summer and the start of the season will be interesting! Next season should be interesting with all these top managers with interesting personalities.

Klopp, Mourinho, Conte, Raineiri, Wenger, Pep to name just a few.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 11:44:58
Lets go and get Lippi renew his rivalry with Ranieri. Although it would knacker the Goodison No Smoking policy.

Agree0 Disagree4

29 May 2016 10:53:48
pellegrini may not be strong enough, boer would struggle in the premier league. NOT looking good. moyes good manager, but pi**ed too many people off, leaves emery who is staying where he is. unsworth not enough experience, maybe in a few years.

Ed any news on comings and goings at youth level any first year pro contracts given out or will this be left down to the new manager?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - im not up to speed on the youth set up AM8 but others on here are and maybe they can update us mate..

29 May 2016 09:52:52
pellegrini having his references check as impressed with his interview. tuesday announcement?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - So Everton has written to Manchester City checking that he was the manager when he said he was? Interesting.}

29 May 2016 10:25:44
Dazza

According to 'NSNO' it's all about whether he is tough enough to quell any 'dressing room unrest' mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 May 2016 13:12:20
No they have not written checking if he was Cities Manager, I doubt if Everton have done anything different from any other Company or organisation when looking to employ a person. Although Ed002's sarcasm is at times admirable on this occasion I could not raise a titter.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 00:59:20
Hi Ed is it true emery is actually interested in us or more tabloid crap lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of him saying that he is interested in the vacancy at Everton.}

29 May 2016 02:00:39
Not a rumour but I was at the sound city festival today, which was being ran on peel holdings land. I would love it if we could get a stadium up there. But if not, I hope the peel development goes ahead. It could be such a great place with a bit of money thrown at it (could only get better if admiring it while walking down dixie Dean way) .
