Seems to me that if rumours of players coming in are true then the mistakes of old, despite apparent wholesale executive changes, are continuing. Loftus Cheek - not developed yet and despite the ott comments at the World Cup far and away the finished article - We have youngsters of our own to develope.

Would take him all day on a permanent deal. If it's a loan then not bothered if he gives us a miss. We need stability, not one year transients.

For all his faults one thing yiu could say about Martinez is he was good at putting his arm round a player and boosting his confidence
Alas there seems to be a few out there that get on a players case far to soon let’s be supporters not detractors.

Always said the bloke is a coach not a Manager (we are talking here about the Premiership and Clubs with huge Squads. Give Martinez a Club the size of Everton and he is lost.

The blame-game merchants have aimed their ire towards Idrissa Gueye for Senagal conceding goal. OK he WAS motionless on the post but with the size of some of the Senagalise players I thought it was foolish putting their smallest player in that position in the first place. Overall I think he had a very good WC as did Siggy for Iceland and I'm proud of them both.
