So once again, it's nice one Everton (Not)! Apparently Payet the French International Midfielder turned Everton down to go to West Ham who may have offered bigger wages? Now this Centre Back from Juventus is supposed to be doing exactly the same.and is due to sign for West Ham! Martinez stated that He wanted to get any business done early. Everton have signed Delafeu from Barca for just over £4m. & Tom Cleverly on a Free from United! Why are we not spending big money after receiving all the extra revenue from Sky etc.as usual we are basement shopping again. We badly need another top line striker. to play up with Lukaku (if He is staying)& we also need a Centre Back of some pedigree, NOT Scot Dann. please! We are destined to be a mid table selling Club the way things are if we don't change our attitude and believe that we ARE actually as good as most of the so-called Big Boys. Now we are awaiting a bid from Everton for Seamus Coleman. the Club needs to strongly let it be known that He is not for sale at any price, and is part of us building a very good team. hopefully? If these Everton Players take a step back and look at what they have achieved over the last 2/3 years, why should they want to go to Teams that we have outplayed and even beaten. we stuffed United at Goodison & should not have lost of Old Trafford. same at Chelsea & Arsenal & various other so called "bigger teams". If the Players themselves showed better consistency and dedication to Everton Football Club, then we would be a Top 6 Club every season, at least, without fail. But whilst we have Mirallas & even Lukaku constantly bleating to the media about wanting to join a Club in the Champions League. how does any Manager (let alone Martinez)build a decent side, as soon as we develop players and they begin to show any potential, the media starts printing that they are "wonderful & brilliant", and the players themselves suddenly believe they are better than they actually are, and want away to play for Clubs in Euro competeitions and for double or treble the wages they are on at Everton! They are well paid (most are overpaid)so they should show some loyalty and buy into what Martinez is wanting to do. stay and show some pride in the Royal Blue Shirt of Everton Football Club. But we do need to buy some top quality players & soon. Moyes tracked that Carlos Bacca at Seville, apparently He tried to sign him before Seville got him but now after being stalked by Liverpool, apparently he is off to AC Milan.not that I would pay £25m for a near 30year old. Get rid of all the deadwood and bring in 3/4 top quality players to compliment what we already have. I believe if we have a poor start or even a mediocre season, then Martinez should be replaced. I could be wrong, but I am fed up just being an also ran Club over the last 10/15 years. it's time Everton got back to where we belong. COYB

{Ed025's Note - really good post that GV..

The short answer mate is, drum roll please. We have no money due to an incompetent board who actually defended themselves over the kit bag deal today.

Should need no more than that really.

Who hasn't showed loyalty? He hasn't said anything about leaving? What a pointless rant of football cliches for no reason, at the end of the day football is a job now and again you choose to leave for different reasons nuff said

Interesting piece on Seamus Coleman on the Sly Sports app. Highlights why United need him and why we shouldn't sell and if we were £30m no less and no joke loans thrown in!

If you do aspire to compete with the likes of them. Then you can't contemplate selling your best players to them. We have the potential to build a very good young team, but won't happen if you sell them.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Jun 2015 06:12:42
I don't believe we will sell unless Seamus asks for the move which again I can't see happening.

Will he won't he that's the big decision for Coleman and Everton when the bid comes in from UTD, and it will the lure of CL football might be too much for him to turn down. But I blame our board a club like Everton should be playing CL footy but we are not and why[no ambition from our board]and don't even try to suggest the 28 mill for Lukaku as that money came from player sales. Our club has money but won't splash the cash so this is something we have to get used to and probably have already, so the ball is in our boards court WHERES THE SKY MONEY LADS.

Said the same a few years ago when you took us for silly money for Fellani. He was not worth the money then and neither will coleman be, although a good player. When will Everton fans come to terms with the facts, like the poster above, that the board are stealing the money!

29 Jun 2015 17:05:38
with cech going aresnal would you take Wojciech Szczęsny or ospina because can't see both staying I prefer ospina but Szczęsny younger both better then howard

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i would take either of them bretto..

29 Jun 2015 18:38:44
Rather have Ospina. Szczęsny is for me, after Howard, the worst keeper in the league.

Agree2 Disagree6

{Ed025's Note - i think szczesny is good swan..

29 Jun 2015 20:40:01
For me Ospina is a Power Goalie. He can sure stop the Rockets fires at him, and makes wonder saves, but when its one on ones or crosses, he's as bad as Howard.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not quite as bad as tim QB but i think your assessment is spot on mate..

29 Jun 2015 20:47:47
ospina looks one to depart and for around 5 mil which should be within are budget

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2015 22:45:41
Wouldn want either. Ospina plays better for colombia, he's not athletic enough for me either, moves his feet far too slow. I also don't wan somebody who has a sneaky ciggie in the showers after having an awful game!!

Roberts took a lot of stick from fans regarding the pre season games, or lack of them last season. what do fans think of the 7 games planned so far? think it's a great gesture by the club to give Big Dunc a testimonial and Goodison will be packed to the rafters to pay homage to the great man.

Swan,

I don't rate McCarthy that high, I also don't rate Cleverly either, but I do rate McCarthy higher than Clev.

Do I rate Baines higher than Shaw? Yes atm I do. But I think in a few years time Shaw will become a lot better if he fulfils his potential.

Coleman excites me, the £30m u lot value him does not but it's the going rate I suppose so oh well.

15m and Evans perm and Adnan on loan seems more than fair to me imo.

Why so bitter all the while? Is that chip heavy to carry around all the time?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

29 Jun 2015 17:35:44
If we have a chip then you must have the full potato given that City are now the number one Manc club. Must really hurt, mind you London nightlife can be good, so at least you have that.

29 Jun 2015 17:59:52
While u unhook that for me, please explain how we are not the biggest club in England still let alone Manchester?

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - that depends on what you deem biggest chris...merchandising yes, titles yes..european success..no, current squad..no, likeability..deffo NO.. :)

29 Jun 2015 18:22:05
Money? Nope.

29 Jun 2015 18:36:20

U always have my number on these pages :)

{Ed025's Note - i just cant help myself chris.. :)

29 Jun 2015 18:40:00
Evans and Januzaj are terrible. You should pay us to take them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont think you like any player swan...januzaj is a talent mate..

29 Jun 2015 19:14:30
Ed25,

When was city's european success?

Woburn's post is one of the best I've seen on here, standard united rubbish, you are a cockney not a real fan (I live 10 minutes from old Trafford and have a season ticket).

City are the number one Manc club because they got a bit of money, they haven't even managed to defend their title yet, entertaining post though I'll give you that.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i never mentioned city GDS..it was about the biggest club fella..

29 Jun 2015 19:33:41
I think ed was referring to that other lot gds.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i was chris..but refuse to mention them mate.. :)

29 Jun 2015 19:41:24
i disagree hugely. Slow, weak, bad decision making. He scored 2 goals on his debut though so must be good. Sterling is a talent, Januzaj not so much.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - like everything mate..its all about opinions..

29 Jun 2015 20:12:03
Lol swan let's his bitterness rule his vision. he's fuming to which makes it even funnier.

Poor old fella.

29 Jun 2015 23:31:50
What bitterness? Ah so it's bitter I don't like a utd player?.

Silly old fella.

29 Jun 2015 23:32:08
I guarantee if you get Januzaj on loan you will think he is good by October.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2015 08:35:03
Chelsea fans said that about Atsu. Januzaj just reminds me of a slow Atsu. Nice.

Yeh silly me, your clearly not bitter at all. 👍

{Ed001's Note - We have posted a new player profile about, Marouane Fellaini

Believable1 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2015 09:52:41
Have been reading some of the stuff posted in here. And I find it a bit disappointing. Did anyone from the club say we were even after Ogbonna. And if we were is he really worth the 12M bandied around for a third choice CB with no EP experience? We have already done two signings possibly 3 (henen) before the window is even officially open. One on a "free" maybe not everyone's cup of tea, one possibly the deal of the window. But we still moan. Let's moan after the window closes.

How many people had even heard of the guy, throw a fancy foreign name about and some people wet their pants with excitement.

If we wanted him that much we would have got him before West Ham

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Jun 2015 11:25:56
Totally agree. Any Centre Back will be 3rd choice, so the best we can probably hope for is a player with potential and we already have two of those in Galloway and Browning.
I also feel that any signings regardless of whether we wanted them or not should be given a fair crack of the whip and not just a few games. The season should start with a clean slate for the players, manager and supporters. We are all in this together.

Agree3 Disagree0

29 Jun 2015 14:23:30
No doubt it's the same people that moan about everything else satoffee is right all this whingeing about losing out to west ham and others is pretty sad window not open and don't remember club sayin we even wanted him sad sad sad
