Hey Al,
I'm the original poster mate.
Irish Kev is my posting name pal.
I don't post much if ever anymore (due to some of the utter tripe from 'fans' on our page at times) which is one reason why I didn't leave my name.
I mainly posted what I did because I saw an Everton fan abused on our page today when he only asked a genuine football question.
The majority, vast majority have nothing but respect for Everton, banter is banter.
Yer a great club and if I wasn't an LFC fan I'd have supported yous. maybe lol.
Best of luck for the new season guys :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well welcome Irish Kev. We all like the banter mate, it's what makes our clubs and our city so special. You're welcome on our page anytime mate but leave your name so we know who you are. All the best for the season mate, one place behind us will do me. Ha!

Everton Al.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Irish Kev, it was me who posted on the LFC site. I had a genuine footballing question which I see you understood. Some of your other LFC fans were not so polite, but I know that we always get some rubbish on these pages. We have it here on the Everton pages too. Anyway, thanks for the support and good luck for the season. I hope you are really successful. I just hope that we are even more successful.
Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Degsy.
It was me who replied under your post over there telling those muppets to shut it and apologised on their behalf.
I love banter like anyone but that was just hate boys.
Sorry about that. You guys are welcome over there anytime. Ignore the haters. We all have em. But it's not needed is it.
Hopefully we both get top 4 but unfortunately I don't see it.
Whether most fans admit it or not, in my opinion Liverpool needs Everton and Everton needs Liverpool.
Good luck boys :)
Irish Kev.

Thank god a lot of you BK haters don't run our club we would be in deep s***. He can't publicly state Baines is going nowhere because for 95% of clubs everyplayer has his price, if man u suddenly offered 20-25 mill for baines and he wants to go we would find it hard to resist then he would look a right tit. So far he has jakelee the moyes resignation and transfer speculation very well. With a small budget like ours we cannot afford to broadcast our targets there are too many clubs Who can outbid us. Yea he ca can be a drama queen that's just the way he is, Have a bit of patience and get behind him he wants what's best for our club
Blue60

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said mate

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 20:53:41
what ever happens the balance must be right. moyes was defensive with play and based on defense - martinez attack and cared little on defense. right balance could be good.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree mate. But at my hometown Thailand people always say crazy logic that say RM. let's Wigan relegated. We will be in trouble like Wigan. {Ed025's Note - we also have a saying in merseyside..."stop talking through your arse"..

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 20:44:55
Correct me if I'm wrong but who would you rather have up front Kone or Remy? Remy. thought so, Martinez just spend an extra 1.5m to activate the release clause in Remy's contract instead of spending 6.5m on Kone who is not getting any younger. Give us what we want Martinez Ed? EFCKEN

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 22:01:07
Remy. thought not, Martinez just spend 1.5m less on Kone. Remy who is not getting any younger. Give us what we want Martinez

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather stick with jelly. I hope having a more attack minded manager will bring out the best of him. He was awesome when he first joined us, in that rare time we did attack teams. Blue Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

We attacked teams most at the start of this season, we completely dominated some matches but couldn't get more than 1 goal

Agree0 Disagree0

U done the same extact same statement the other day, I personally wouldn't sign someone being investigated by the police, but I suppose you could see if jim will fix it for you

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 23:54:10
Isn't that the fourth time you have posted that in 2 days? Boring now mate and kone any day

Agree0 Disagree0

I've never met anyone who is getting any younger

Agree0 Disagree0

We did attack teams, but most the attacking was long, high, hopeful balls to fellani, where as I think/hope RM will play it on the deck, which will help jelly.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 20:30:52
Half of you on here think Douglas is Brazilian, how can you say you want him when you can't even get his nationality right?
Yes he was Brazilian born, but Thiago was Italian-born, don't see none of you calling him Italian.
Rant over.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No one cares mate

More LUVVY DUVVY OSCAR stuff from BK. Just give it a rest, Let the manager do the talking, Get in the back seat. If RM is in love with EFC, let him say it. You melodramatic egit!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Was thinking exactly the same thing biffy, the man is an embarrassment imo. i'm fed up with all the drama queen sh*te. The headline I wanted to see today on the back of the red echo was a statement of intention along the lines of Baines is going nowhere not for sale at any price full stop do one ginge or something like that. The eds wouldn't post my reaction to what i'd like to say about that offer from united and moyes.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 20:51:53
He has played well but everton biased not counting but conor coady is poor and england may aswell play with no strikers harry kane is absolutly awful john lundstram should play every game for them, luke garbutt been poor too imo won't tackle and gives the ball away too much

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 18:12:59
We should go for aubameyang 15m honda 5 douglas free and sinclair on loan keep baines an fellini an just let the fringe pkayers leave

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I like the sound of that, not going to lie. Imagine this as our starting XI:

Howard
Douglas Jagielka Distin
Coleman Honda Fellaini Gibson Baines
Mirallas Aubameyang

Bench:
New GK (Mucha's gone)
Heitinga
Duffy
Barkley
Sinclair
Pienaar
Jelavic

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 17:47:41
lets be honest we don't need Aubameyang for 15m, undoubtedly RM will try Jelavic and Mirallas as his prefered 2 he may bring in Kone for 5m to give us 4 strikers, the bulk of his player in will depend on the big fella going and hopefully keeping Baines. if Fella goes and we get 24m less Standard Lieges cut we will have 19m to spend. for this he needs a def mid and attack mid and a winger.
McCarthy, Honda and Lee would cost him 19/20 so there you have it.
also Johnny H will go for 2.5m and Alcaraz will come in foc. job done

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kind of on the same lines i'm thinking, poeple throwing in negrados and soldados have no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait wait wait, why does everyone all of sudden think Liege get a cut? Confused now

Noticed a few people over the past few days have mentioned selling Magaye Gueye in this window, with a couple of different valuations, but I think his contract is up on July 1st, so we may lose him on a free.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's not. Hits and Nev are leaving, as well as Mucha. If he wasn't in the 'released players' listing, which he's not, then he is staying.

Alright lads its Joe been a season ticket holder for 30 years. Do you think Baines will go? If yes who are the replacement. Cheers lads.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

See my other post. Luke Shaw Southampton. Great prospect.
Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't force a move joe, not that sort of person! If the club can't resist the money then it has to be shaw at Southampton for me!

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish it would be shaw but as soon as a bids accepted the usual suspects will coming hunting the kids class, so good now for his age as a defender

Agree0 Disagree0

Like I said previously, According to reliable sources, Shaw seems destined for Man Utd. However, if we were to get a lorry load of cash for Baines, could Southampton and the lad himself resist a move to us?

29 Jun 2013 16:02:13
Tim Howard really needs someone to keep him on his toes and, fair play to Timmy for coming back from injury so quickly, but if he gets injured again our options are poor. We could do a lot worse than Espanyol's keeper Kiko Casella, who is apparently only about £1M. I think he's better than Turnbull, even though he'd be on a free. Any other thoughts blues?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There is a world class free agent out there that can do a cracking job. A man with 35 international caps to his name, a man who produces match winning performances game in, game out, making wonder save after wonder save. A man who has been regarded by his peers as a true colossal amongst mere mortals. We will need to snap him up quick though as Barca and Real Madrid are meant to be closing in.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok, so I'm clear that he's a man, which is a bonus, Mike, but I'm not picking up what you're laying down. Who is this masked man, who can save our little village goalmouth? Does Clint Eastwood play in goal? Seriously, we're not talking pepe reina here, are we? Sorry if I'm being slow on the uptake!

Just want to wish Everton the best of luck for the new season.
I'm a Liverpool fan so obviously I want us above you lot come the end but hope you guys finish one place below us at worst. Thanks for all your support to LFC in regards Hillsborough. especially over the last 18 months.
Good luck :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You should leave your name mate. We like to hear from nice kopites as they're few and far between. Haha. We would give you the same respect as Red Russ. As far as Hillsborough goes mate, there is something that are far more important things than football and standing next to our friends and family, whether they are red or blue is one of these!

Much respect, J4T96!

Hey arsenal fan here. Just was going to say if we toke fellaini for 25mill what
would your owner re invest that money In

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A midfielder and a striker is a must have

Agree0 Disagree0

Black hole research? That's where a lot of the rest of it seems to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Guessing correctly what Everton will do is something that is nigh on impossible.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hypothetical question really because you're not going to get him but supposing you did then I'd say getting the gents toilets in the Gwaldys Street end re painted because after the bank and the board have divvied up the cash there wouldn't be much left for any new new players.
Emma Royd

Agree0 Disagree0

If you toke fellani that's 25 million up in smoke!

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone better than Fellaini.

Agree0 Disagree0

His new theatre production.

Agree0 Disagree0

We would probably buy Wiltshire and corzola then give them a season in the reserves to get them up to speed.

Come on seriously do you think we are interested in discussing this topic.

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

The toilets in the Gwladys (as someone has mentioned) and the rest on CCTV most probably, after Greeny and Earl have had their cut, of course.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh why the feck would you care, or are you a shareholder

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would I care? Erm, well, let's see. I'd like to see the money spent on new players rather than service the extortianate debt. Is that a good enough reason? And, yes, I am a shareholder. I own one share.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 13:35:00
Not a rumour just pointing out that Cristian Tello is refusing to sign a new contract at Barcalona and has only a 10m euro buy out clause. Would be an absolute bargain at that price.
RickTee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed but all the big boys would want him and would offer far bigger wages and a shot at the champions league

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 13:34:42
It seems like I say this virtually every transfer window but for me it's a vital window if we are to progress, i'm genuinely excited to see how we do under Martinez, after all he's got his teams outplaying ours in the past, although relegation doesn't give him much of a leg to stand on.

It would send out a huge message if we hold onto Fellaini and Baines, maybe shift someone like Heitinga, but it doesn't seem essential.

If it was down to me i'd go for:

Howard (needs a challenger very soon)
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini Fer
Mirallas Honda Pienaar
Jela

That's fairly realistic given the situation, and maybe invest in a few squad players like Redmond etc. That would set us back maybe 15-20 mill which appears to be his budget, it is an achieveable aim the team I set out, and a team that would challenge anyone if they play the right way

Time will tell, but the signings are key to adding to an already top notch first team

Alex

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think January is more vital as we don't know how we will do. I agree with you if we lose Baines and/or Felli, but if we don't lose them I feel January is more important as we will know how good we are under RM.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, Keith. All these Martinez doubters need to hold their demons in check at least until we see where we're at in January. I wouldn't be surprised if even the most sought after players on our team will be thinking that as well. Bear in mind his first day on the job is Monday!

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it's vital at that point, but ti doesn't mean this window isn't any less important, in a way every single transfer season is of huge importance to us, but I get your point

Alex

My hopeful team for 2013/2014

Howard
Coleman Jags/Duffy Distin/Alcatraz Baines

Fellaini Fer

Mirallas Honda Redmond/Pienarr
Bony
Ins:
Bony 10m
Fer 8m
Redmond 8m
Honda 4m
TOTAL: 30M
Outs:
Heitinga 4m
Gueye 1m
Anichebe 6m
TOTAL: 11M
11mil selling plus the TV money and maybe a bit of cash that Big Bill could stump up then that would make a top 4 team easily! Plus the young prospects we have such as Barklay, Junior, Stones and Duffy, then we are all but sorted for the future!
Good times ahead!

EFCMichael

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bony's off to Swansea. Your sums are a bit out on the others. We will never get anywhere near £6M for Vic and Redmond is available for around £2-£3M

Agree0 Disagree0

Redmond won't cost £8m. Norwich and the Swans had £2m bids accepted. Plus you have to think about wages, etc. so if we had £30m to spend, roughly, depending on the players, we would have probably about £20m to spend on the transfer fees. Redmond won't be as much in wages as, say, Honda.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry don't know why I put 8mil I know Redmond was 2-3mil

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 13:01:28
aubameyang, Honda and Fer. What are our realistic chances of getting them? If we did get them then I can't wait for next season to start

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 12:42:13
I'd happily sacrifice Fellaini for Honda, Aubameyang, Koné, Fer and Redmond.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bit harsh, why not just sell him?

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Good one mike, tickled me that!

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah, I go with Mike on this one. We could throw a party and all get dressed in coloured robes and sing evil disturbing chants. Or we could do that every Saturday just like last season!
Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell him? He might score against us!

Agree0 Disagree0

As if you would get all them players for selling felli

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 12:19:27
Ive had enough of the doom nd gloom merchants on here. i'm looking forward to this season. new style of play on a top class pitch. signings will be made and players will leave as do at all clubs. If most fans who say we won't do this and we won't do that this season go to the games then Goodison Park sounds like its going to be a quiet place to be. just be positive and have faith in the new manager and team a nd cheer til your throats get sore

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 12:11:41
i feel we will have 40- 60 million if baines and felli leave PKBLUE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Either Bainsey or Felli, Jonny and Gaeye enough for Smithie, Manga, Diame, Redmond, Aubemeyang and Felli or Bainsey replacement.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 11:49:30
If Baines was 24 I would not let him go but he is getting on so £16-20m would be good for both teams! I reckon if we played Oviedo all season he would be like Coleman (Class) so why not get the money and sell Fellaini too and but Honda, Redmond, Fer, Manga, Aubameyang, Douglas (free), Kone and a back up keeper

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 10:33:16
We should start signing players now, look what happened last season. We missed out on Butland and now we are desperate for a decent backup for Howard!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We don't need a decent backup, we need a better goalkeeper so that Howard becomes the backup.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

But land is too good to be a back up keeper. Who is going to want to sit on the bench for the whole season only an old timer or a youngster what's wrong with Springthorpe

Agree0 Disagree0

What's wrong with Springthorpe? He's a non-league quality keeper, Wigan's third keeper's better than him.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 10:29:20
So Redmond want to come to Everton. Promising young player already very talented. Should snap him up now before Norwich or Swansea do

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Calm down, redmond has potential but we may be already well covered in that area. don't forget we have Kennedy aswell.2 mill would be a snip for us but only if we need him, otherwise money would be better spent in other positions
Blue60

Agree0 Disagree0

Not to burst your bubble but kennedy hasn't impressed

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 10:00:17
i think baines is a great player BUT I would sell him for 16 mill plus he's 29 soon and if rm will get the money we should be ok why not give oviedo a chance there. bring in mc. carthy.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 11:50:06
16m are you on something mate? He has another 4 years left in him and is the best left back in the world plus tbh mccarthy will be sold for closer to 20m then 15m so no keep baines regardless of the price

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the asking price should be at least 25 million+ for the best lb in the world PKBLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

Take £16m and Buttner he looks ok

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2013 08:00:19
no blueskittle am on nothing mate its business baines a top player but 16/20 mill I would sell him I think oveido could do a good job there giving time then we ave 20 mill to get top striker and midfielder.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 11:01:50
We should buy aubameyang, manga, honda for the fellaini sale.
Then whatever money let attempt for fer and a goalkeeper (pressuring howard)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 10:54:16
Thought Moyes had a verbal agreement with Bill that he wouldn't bid for our players unless someone else does first?

Has someone else bid for Bainesy or has DM gone back on his word?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 09:11:08
we have punched above our weight for some time now, but i'm sorry to say this season is going to be a bleak one, moyes gone, and with an exodus of our star players, and no money to buy, no money to invest, a chairman who refuses to hold his hand up and put the club up for sale to someone who can take the club into the champions league, then if we finish 17th this season then we've been let off big time {Ed025's Note - sigh..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Boring boring boring me now, if you really believe that then you are deluded, why don't you talk about your own boring club on your own page, I for one am excited about the new season, can't wait, think were going to do better than last season and win a cup

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like we have Mr Positive over here.

Everton was here before Moyes, and believe it or not, Everton will still exist without him

You say an exodus of star players and no reinvestment how does that work? If Baines and Fellaini leave, we will have a pretty big kitty to play with. and they aren't leaving yet, Fellaini have been no bids, and well, we control Baines' future.

Agree0 Disagree0

For heavens sake, you're either a troll from another club trying to stir things up or you've taken some heavy depressants this morning.
I bet your favourite song is 'Everybody Hurts' by REM and your bedroom walls are painted black.
Try having a positive outlook on life for a change, you make Mike look like Mister Happy with that attitude.
Domo

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, am I right in saying that sounds like a "FACT!"? {Ed025's Note - yes kieth :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Not another Moyes fanboy. Wait and see just maybe we will improve. At the very least we will entertain more, my prediction is Moyes will struggle more than Martinez.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed don't sigh fans are concerned especially about the baines situation, need are chairman to be strong over this issue because it will end up in a decline. understand about balancing the books but bk has said we don't need to sell. would spurs sell bale to utd no. baines is as important to everton {Ed025's Note - when people are as negative as that...i do sigh...it saves me typing words like F*** O**..

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh God, why do we get them all on here? It is like listening to Private Frazer on some kind of controlled substance. Get a grip man or go off in to a darkened room and take your medication. My sympathy Ed's dealing with this day in day out is above and beyond the call of duty! {Ed025's Note - we can be so negative at times WtG..

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 16:07:58
Sigh is right Ed0025. Some of our 'fans' need to have a good look at themselves as I don't think they are real Everton fans! 17th will be a let off, you're having a laugh mate. I personally would be devastated if we finished 17th not lucky we're still in the league. RM is a great manager who plays great attacking football! I can't wait for the season to start! Get a grip lad, stop moaning about Moyes leaving, and most importantly get behind the team or sod off and support a different team! I'm getting sick to the back teeth of all these doom and gloom supports! I take my hat off to you Ed0025, I couldn't be an Ed mate, it would burn my head out.

Thanks
Wasy {Ed025's Note - honda is 50/50 wasy, us or milan, and its not down to money, but personal choice..he has said he wants to play in the EPL, so the signs are very positive...we are after kone, it will be a money issue though, and fer is still on the radar, but may depend on whether or not fellaini leaves mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Jun 2013 08:49:21
Players come and go. When lescote left it was going to be the worse thing could happen and if anything we became stronger with money invested properly. Hopefully any players leave just hope the money is reinvested on players and not to keep the bank manager happy.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

U sell players who want to leave like lescott. baines is different we have to say no he's happy at everton. u can't have a press conference like the Martinez one saying are players are not for sale and we want champions league. then soon as utd make a bid we cave and give in,. its makes us look weak. utd have basically took the piss. not a bk fan but have got a good feeling that he's gona make a stance and Baines will sign new contract. that would be massive for everton

Agree0 Disagree0

But they haven't caved in

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Jun 2013 08:48:46
If Fellani and Baines are sold of about 40 million perhaps how much of that will be put back into new players ed? {Ed025's Note - most of it i expect mate, although the BK haters will no doubt say he will pocket most of it..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If bill sells baines I won't forgive him. the player dosent want to go. The chairman has said he won't sell. it would seriously weaken are team. Bill can't sell him be undermining Martinez straight away. everything about this deal would weaken everton and create a really negative start to the season. u can't keep selling your best players. , just say no

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus at the moment we got 15 to 20 m to spend with TV money and where we finished in the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines doesn't want to go? Do you honestly believe that Baines, if approached by Manchester United, would rather stay with Everton than go there? You are sadly mistaken. Players always say they're happy, that they don't want to move. That's what they have to say. He's 28 years old. If you get offered close to 20 million up front, then we can't turn that down. He's not irreplaceable. I've been in a similar position as you are in with my club. Players saying they're happy then jumping ship as soon as an offer comes in. It's no disrespect to Everton. But Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, maybe even Bayern Munich, if they come knocking, you listen.

Chimney sweep Josh (arsenal fan)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed r u on kenwrights payroll. kenwright needs to grow a pair. he's stated three weeks ago no players will be sold. tell united to **** off. u think we'd invest in better players, like who. look at the Martinez press conference. these are his words Weil help roberto in transfer Market. if david try's to get Leighton he's got no chance. for once be true to your words. the man is a {Ed025's Note - i thought he had done!..you need to get a grip!..

Hi Ed0025, I take it you've had an afternoon off. I was just wondering if Ed04, who's been editing this aft, is a Manchester United fan? The reason I ask is that I sent a post earlier about things I'd like Bainsey to hear from us fans about recent events. Without going into all the details again, I basically said that him being one of the 3 best left backs in world football he should only consider leaving for one of the really big clubs, e. g. Real, Barca or Juve, & that Utd aren't in that category. I also said that I felt there was a good chance that if Utd were only mid table at xmas, Moysie might be sacked. I remarked that the Man U fans & the media were the ones that had brainwashed themselves that Utd were the biggest club in the world.
You know my posts, I never use offensive language & I didn't throw in any nasty insults, I just told it as I see it. For the first time in a long time my post didn't appear. Is Ed04 one of those people who won't hear anything said against Man U & expect everyone to fawn & pontificate about them. If that's the case, I'd rather not have him anywhere near our site! {Ed025's Note - he is actually the celtic ed tezza, but does follow utd as well mate. he is usually very fair though, and has edited this site on numerous occasions, you may have touched a raw nerve there, but he is well respected among the other eds, and when im at work is good enough to keep the page updated, no one likes to hear their club being trashed, so just put it down to a conflict of interests mate..

Imagine if we signed fer, Honda, aubeymeyang and manga only selling Heitinga and gueye. It wouldn't even cost a lot if money either. Dreams. Maybe Sinclair on loan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No just about 40 mil as fer is 8-10 mil, honda is 5 mil and aubeymeyang is 15-20mil. sinclair even more money
heitenga 3. 5- 5 mil, gueye 4-6 mil, and let's say we have a 10 mil budget do the maths

Media reported this morning that Everton are Redmond's first choice. 2.5m and a 15k a week wage should be enough to land a very promising youngster who can play on the wing or behind the striker - sounds like a deal to me.

I remember seeing a post from Ed0025 on here saying that some of the players read these pages. If that's the case, then if, by any chance, Baisey's online, I'd like to put this to him :-

Bainsey, you can see from the posts on here how much us Everton fans love having you at our club. I've no idea how it must feel to be in your postition & have your talent, but I can understand that winning trophies is important to a player. Therefore it must be a bit overwhelming when all the speculation about your future starts. Anyway, as far as Manchester United are concerned, I'd like you to consider this. By common consent, you are now regarded as one of the top 3-5 left backs in world football, (imo top 3), so isn't it logical that if you are going to move on it should be to one of the top 3 clubs in the world. Therefore IF Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus come calling, I can see the temptation. Even when we get into the top 5 clubs, adding Bayern & Milan to this list, it would still be tempting, but NOT Man Utd. Their fans & the media have brainwashed themselves into believing that are the biggest club - not so.

Also consider the position there if, & it is a strong likeliehood, after 10 games next season they are mid-table. Moysie has no chance of getting the leeway Ferguson had 20 years ago - he'll be down the road. What happens then?
So, mate, have a bit of patience & let's see what next season brings for us with RM in charge. Please God it doesn't happen, but if we are struggling & a really big club comes in for you, I'm sure if you go, you'll leave with the best wishes of all true Evertonians.

I agree with you mate. If both Baines and Fellaini leave Everton this year, the summer will turn to be pretty ugly for you, no matter who you buy. If Manchester United value Rooney at 35 mil. , Nani 20 mil. , then Baines is surely worth 25-30 mil. Good luck next year hope you have a great season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baines doesn't want to go. kenwright apparently seething about utd trying to unsettle him. everton need to stay strong say no. moyes knows evertons situation and the way bill conducts his business. kenwright needs to stand up or his position will be weakened not only with everton fans but with other clubs. this could be s good thing, moyes is showing a ruthless attitude, bill needs to act get baines on a new contract, and tell utd to piss off

I think kone would be a decent signing an Leroy fer but as for Honda an most of the other players people are talking about on here are a joke non of them are good enough and very optimistic

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sorry, but you don't know much about football if you think Honda would not improve us.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see what the big fuss is over Leroy Fer. Admittedly, I've not seen much of him and only say his performances in the Euro U21s but he looked lazy to me.

Martinez seems to be all over the place according to rumours on here I know it's a rumour site but let's keep it a bit realistic so far we have made bids for 3 or 4 payers interested in about 20 players all over the globe and we have had arsenal offer felleni move and now utd bid for baines which does seem realistic I think we should sign honda kone alcaraz fer and Maloney sell heitinga and guaye and then take the phone off the hook until transfer window closes which then felleni's clause would be ruled out and then we can get more providing he performs then we get higher price and can bring in that big name striker for long term kone could surprise you I know he is coming up 30 but has 2 good seasons left I could see him scoring 15 a season so if he can score that back to back seasons then 6million would be a bargain you can't get a lot for that much these days

in all fairness if we do have to sell this is WHAT I would like to see happen

Sell
Fellaini 24mil?
Jonny H 4mil
Gueye 1mil

Total 29mil
add to say 10mil we have
39mil

Buy

Bony - 10.2mil
Honda - 5mil
Douglas (Brazil CB) FREE
Fer - 7.5mil ish
Kasper (GK) 5mil
Moses - 9mil
Alcaraz - Free

Total 36. 5

More plays for the Squad as we released players to so saved on wages

As I say I would like this

Team

------- Howard/Kasper--------
Coleman---Jags--Doug---Baines
Milli-----Gibbo/Fer-------Pieman
-------Honda/Barkley----------
------Jelly---------Bony-------

well I can dream.
what do you think Ed 25

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Could also get Redmond for the remaining 2 mil.

Pecko

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think we'd get Bony anyway. Think we could get Aubameyan instead. Also a chance of us getting Chung Young Lee from Bolton

Perfect if you can spread 3 players wages amongst 7 new signings. They don't play for free!
