I knew it wouldn't be long, the new season tickets have recently gone on sale and now we are apparently close to getting a new stadium etc. Sorry for sounding a little un-impressed but this stuff gets banded about around about this time every season. I will believe it when I see it

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I wrote a number of posts, with some of the other gals and guys on this site on St George's Day mate all about some information I had about a new stadium on Walton Hall Park and the extension on Anfield and the new shop and hotel on Anfield too. Have a little look back, it's got a little more information about it there mate. I think this will happen matie.

Everton Al.

Just had a look back. Fingers crossed then. Thanks for the info

See where you are coming from though Revs, comical the way something comes out every year when the club need money off us.

I believe in Everton Al though kidder

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope it's true too mate. To be fair though, everything my source has said has came true so far so fingers crossed hey lads! It makes sense to me, Walton Hall Park has pretty good transport links already being sites on the East Lancs and could be made even better with a carefully thought out plan.

Here's to hoping and praying!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe anyone would come with a silly comment like this.
what do you want the club to do?
not adverstise the fact that a season ticket at EFC represents excellent value for money? just hope for the best that they will sell enough?
not tell everyone that you can take your kids for £95 a season?

Bluewillo, what you on about lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Bluewillo misread the post. Read it again mate. For the record I'm 2 payments into next years season tickets for ma and my 2 boys. Most true fans will renew anyway without the need for rumours. I did anyway but I can see the ops thinking. Not like we haven't been duped before is it but let's hope that this time it's for real. got to happen for us once hasn't it. Personally I renew no matter what I would like to think more fickle fans would renew because of the excellent season we have just had under our new regime but that's just me

Agree0 Disagree0

Murph. of course the club need our money! its not a charity.
i am just sick of cynical people saying the same rubbish about the club and season tickets.
the club is being run brilliantly at the minute. its strongly rumoured RM will be able to bring in around seven players this summer and the new ground move is exciting. also we are generally playing great stuff so we should be right behind the club right now.

Media reporting west ham going to beat us to signing of that strike from standard liage why on earth would anyone contemplate joining them above us if hr goes there I firmly believe our interest in him cooled a huge amount

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Portugese newspaper o jogo reported that we had scouts watching him at the weekend shakey. although not proven at premiership level at 20 years old looks a decent prospect and scored 20 goals in 35 matches

Banter please ed.A few seasons back Utd needed Liverpool to beat Chelsea and what happened Stevie G amazing back pass to Drogba hmmmm but they want us to be professional on sat.Well Liverpool are very lucky cause that's what we will be and yes I feel we will beat City I really do, I know I posted about playing the younger lads on sat but that was just a bit of banter as I knew the reds would'be looking in on our site to see what we were saying but I just know once that game kicks off on Saturday I will be cheering the blues on no matter what the outcome of our result has for other teams I could never cheer for another team against us ever and that is a fact.If we win which I'm sure we will it will be for us and not them Coyb In Roberto we trust.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i expect nothing less than a fully professional performance stef, i dont pay over £600 a year to see my team not try, otherwise i may as well support newcastle mate..

Stef, I actually think there are merits in playing some of the youngsters against MC at the weekend. Without Barry and Kev we will be light in midfield so the question is. Is it better to play the boys out of position or try to keep players in an effective position where they may actually play better? I personally would look to bring in a holding type midfield player in than play either Ross or Ossie in the role as I think they both struggle in that position. The same could be argued about out wide although I thought Lukaku played well there against the Arse with Naismith up top. It’s a difficult one for Robbie as we are still in with a shout of 4th and 5th is not guaranteed either with Spuds being so close.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we were to play a couple of youngsters, the ones i'd play are out on loan. Lundstram is a left footer direct replacement for barry.id have Duffy in place of Alcaraz. Hopefully Jags is fit tho. Hope Duffy gets a run out next season as by his own admission he is over the mental block this season which has hampered him since the life tthreatening injury. He throws his body into tackles now without the fear of anything happening to him.

lundstram is on loan mate, we all want youngsters to play but we all know it will be

howard
coleman stones alcaraz garbutt
osman mccarthy
barkley naismith deulofeu
lukaku

id play
joel
hibbert browning alcaraz garbutt
ledson grant
naismith green mcgeady
duffus or vellios

whatever increases our chances of losing, let's see some of the lads like green and browning who are both special, come on bobby give em a chance!

I know swan m8. I said at the beginning of my post that the ones i'd have are out on loan.your team looks a good one tho.

Reds fan here. Like to pop over to your site every now and then to read the banter. I've noticed a lot of you want your team to lose against City. and there's a lot of debate about it too. As a true Liverpool fan I wanted to say that I actually understand both arguaments. I'm from a background where footy is everything, and I am guilty of being over passionate most Saturdays. My point though is that true Liverpool fans want to win the league on merit, not on favours from other teams. City are well capable of wiping the floor with you. and us for that matter, but Everton on their day can beat anyone in the EPL. that's why this season has been so good. I just hope Everton v City is a good game and the best team on the day wins. Same with the EPL, hope the best team over the 38 games comes out on top. Personally I reckon Everton will have a go, but get beat. Then all the Liverpool fans will kick off claiming you threw it lol. Footy's great isn't it?! Good luck with the rest of the season. don't reckon you'll catch Arsenal, but it would be nice for us both to be in the Champions League!

{Ed025's Note - good sentiment that mate and fair assessment, ...please give my regards to..dozy, beaky, mick and titch.. :)
