If that's the case then fix it now ready for next season. Europe is pretty much an impossibility now so get him sorted before we lose him to a long term injury

It seems the transfer gossip has come early and I'm a bit worried that Felli seems to be as good as gone already.
I also thought it was inevitable earlier on in the season but if there is a real chance of us getting the Honda deal done before the season is over and trying to pinch some 1 like Tom Ince early it may show the direction were going.
My transfers and why!
Keep Felli!
Drop him back in with Gibson. We won't conceed much through the middle then.
Keep Baines!
The heart of the team. Think he'd spend the rest of his career here given the chance.
Keep (u may not like this) Mucha!
Showed that once he had a run that he can offer something and seems to have shocked Howard back into life. Plus it's not easy to find keepers cheap.
Transfers in:
Honda (out of contract in Dec) £5-7
Brilliant and more technically gifted than Felli in that same role in the hole. Gets goals and can pass for fun. I personally think he may get a new contract as Dzagoev did and there will be some big boyz after him. Fingers Crossed tho
(Gonna get slated for this) but if we can't get the young lad Aleksandar Dragovic then i'd take Kolo Toure in a heartbeat (wages cut obviously)
Dragovic looked promising against prem opposition but if he is not available then I think Kolo Toure would be a great shout. He's Free, Yh he's the wrong side of 30 but he's also basically had a 2-3 year rest and it shows. the games I've seen him in recently he's looked sharp and really up 4 it. sometimes the market dictates what you can buy.
Tom Ince (Free)
Now I didn't know this guy was out of contract in the summer. According to the online resources he is! Forget about his ties to the reds I'd take him immediately if the opportunity was there. he's abit special.
That's it, Maybe a striker but I don't know why but I still think Jelavic will pull it back. I'd be tempted to bring Vellios in for the end of the season and give Jelavic the extended rest to see what he's got for next season.
Been a while anyway lads, I'm back
Leon EFC {Ed025's Note - nice to have you back leon..

I reckon Moyes will sign a new contract, not because New investment is on the way but purely because he has had no offers, we will lose Fellaini, then come deadline day maybe bring in a couple of new faces, and maybe a couple of loans, then fellow blues just more of the same, up and around the top 6 and hoping to win a cup

Got to say listening to g nev he is right we need to start using homegrown players with hunger your never going to get a player who will want to die for the club unless he's been brought up from around that area who will always give 100% for the club he supports and loves yes you get the odd money grabber as we have seen but the desire is still always there when they are playing
Thoughts?

Right blues I know it is only Monday but just thinking about the derby on Sunday. Firstly we are going to have to weather the storm for the first 20 mins cause they will be pumped up for this match if we get through that without conceding a goal the game will settle down and then we can start to put them under pressure especially from the wings. We need to put a man on Countinio cause if he is given room he will hurt us, Fellaini will do the job on him the same way Chelsea kept him quiet and he was taken off then by Brenda. If we take the game to them and play to our strengths we should win the game, we have to end this hoodoo we have playing at Anfield under Moyes and Sunday will be the perfect chance considering there missing ratboy. I really hope we take our chances Sunday and end there small hope of finishing above us and increase our chance of playing in europe next season COYB. Stef the blue

Your mad if you would not take James McCarthy who is a wonderful player and this isn't me overrating him but he is a better central mdfielder than anyone of utd's cm's, not bad considering 'he's not good enough'.
COYB!

McCarthy is better than both Xavi and Pirlo. I'm not overrating him either. He would obviously at least walk into a title winning side, no problem.

Just before the transfer rumours go into overdrive.
People talk about us getting 6 or 7 players in.
As you know, that is not the Everton way, at the very most we will draft in 2 players regardless of who goes.

Yeah and the op said 'regardless of who goes', nobody can say we will sign 2 players max because nobody knows that for certain- as I said we signed more than 2 last summer.

Just an observation but Baines, Ferdinand and Carrick were the only English players voted by other players, many of them international players who made the premier league team of the year. None of them are 1st choice for the England team yet the players from other countries that they play against rate them higher than Cole, Cahill and who ever is normally picked ahead of Carrick. Might be something to look at Hodgson.

any truth in these kevin strootman rumours ed? it says that manchester united and ac milan are interested and that the player would be open to a move away from the eredivise. imo the lad's a world beater, i've seen him play on many occasions and he just oozes class. only 23 as well. really hope this one has some legs.
bitterblue {ed025's note - quality player bitter...this is very hard for me to say mate...but bigger clubs are higher in the queue mate, but god how i hope im wrong..

Everyone keeps giving the team they expect next year with loads of new signings but I think there won't be many:
Howard
Coleman
Jagielka
Lescott
Baines
Mirallas
Honda
Gibson
Pienaar
Barkley
Jelavic
What do you make of that Ed? {Ed025's Note - very realistic mate..

Yes I know their heads were turned by money but players are allowed to make mistakes and I'm just wondering who if anyone you would take off QPR. Personally I'd take Remy and Hoilett who was brilliant at Blackburn. Oh and Clint Hill obviously.
What do you think Ed?
Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - ill give you remy, and hoilett joe...but clint hill is stretching it a bit mate..
