Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Distin seems to be enjoying his football for us at the moment, he has been in form and consistent for the last 3 years, surely not offering him a contract extention would be a step backwards.

Distin contract talks ongoing! Atleast he want to sign! Still no news on fellanis contract situation! Are they still negotiating? Whts hapening?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If Neville, at 34, and being a gash player, can get a 2 year deal, why is Distin, one of our best players, only being offered a one year extension? Typical Everton. Really wish he signs and continues to be boss for us!

Spurs and stoke both went 442 against liverpool and both won! Wolves went 451 and went 2 goals down, they changed it and stuck another man up top and they came back into the game scored a goal and worried liverpools back 4, im sure our gaffer is fully aware of this so lets hope he follows suit 442!

These are my thoughts, granted they may not be for everyone, but here goes;

Howard
Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines

Coleman, Osman,
Fellaini

Saha Vellios, Drenthe

Plenty of strike force and a solid back four. Use Drenthe and Baines for set pieces and depending on how the game goes, sub vellios for Neville (Neville would obviously move back behind Felli) at the break and Saha for Cahill at 70 mins.

That is a great attacking team that would get us goals,i hope barkley gets a run out on saturday as well

COUARSE IT WILL. THAT DRENTHE LOOKS LIKE HE COULD BE ANOTHER PROMISIBG PLAYER FOR US, DOESNT HE? HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR US WHICH IS GUD

I want to see us play the 442 formation on saturday if not and moyes picks the 451 again! I want drenthe to start! I will be very pi55ed off if moyes picks the same team that played against city!

Hope moyes changes things around for the weekend! We need to atrack teams not sit back waiting for them to score then with 10 minutes left decide to have a go! Go at teams from the off! We did that against villa and looked dangerous! Gotta start with a striker on saturday! Better yet 2 of them! Liverpool are dodgy at the back if we go at them they will panic and make mistakes!

Did anyone see Tevez last night ? Shocking ! Also the 2 player's who got subbed spitting there dummy out, makes me glad that we are the way we are at everton, players who want to wear the shirt and give everything.
Tevez is a disgrace to the game and i wouldn't even cancel his contract because that is what he wants, a free transfer so he can get bigger wages, i would let him sit in the reserves for the 2 years he has left on his contract.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Thats stupid because:
1st- He'd be getting huge wages for just sitting with the reserves
2nd- He wants to go to Brazil or Argentina's league and clubs in those leagues tend not to be the richest clubs around
3rd- The reason he wants to leave is to be closer to his family so tell me how does wanting to be closer to your wife and children make you a disgrace to the game?

Agree1 Disagree4

He is a disgrace because hes getting 200,000 or something a week and refused to go on. There are some players who dont get the chance to play never mind for 200,000. So what if hes not getting his game, stop being a baby and get on with it.ewefc

Hey ed! You seen the article on the dixie60 website about the fans owning the club? If so what do you think? Sounds like an interesting idea to me! {Ed002's Note - It always seems attractive but there are enormous practicality issues - particularly future investment if the club cannot make a consistent profit. I am sure a floatation has been considered.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Barca are owned by their fans, but then again, a team of that standard could cope, bigger teams like us might not!
