Please Martinez, don't make 7-8 changes on Tuesday. Play Joel and maybe Mirallas and Gibson if McCarthy isn't fit.

Totally agree. I want to see silverware again. Best 11 please.

Should have gone for the jugular at 2-0 we are too nice at times . I think we also did not take up our defensive position quickly enough after we scored the third. Lack a bit of leadership on the pitch at times as we have so many young lads in the team who Look for a bit of guidance. Still think we have the makings of a great side with this team and I hope that these young lads learn from every game and move forward. Don't understand the negativity at times from some quarters although I do feel the frustration like everyone .

It's just one of those games lads.
At 0-2 they were dead and buried until that strike which Jesus of Nazareth couldn't have prevented.
The rest a bit like that legendary 4-4 with the pool.
Let's calm down and get back on the saddle for next week.

Your right Mushy I'm bitterly disappointed about the game today, let's concentrate on Tuesday and hopefully we can book a place in the semi final of the league cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 19:40:22
Agree Mushy. A lot of posters have been building us up lately. Today was a bit of a reality check. A win at Middlesbrough and over Palace, who have been known to do a number on us and all will be forgiven. At least we should be up the order on MOTD.

28 Nov 2015 18:50:53
With no disrespect, if you have any aspirations to crack the top 4, then you have to have the mental strength to see out a game when 2.0 up with 10 minuites to go, againt a side in the relegation zone. You do not have to look too far back in the records, to see Everton dropping points to teams that are eventully relegated.

PS, See the comeback started with our keeper, yet, AGAIN, conseeding from long range.

well the good news is we are one point away from relagation, surely nobody believed we were going to win ever game we played this season and if you did then let me be the first to say welcome to the life of an Evertonian you must be new :)

28 Nov 2015 18:25:01
Wow! The whingers are back. What a surprise! Haven't seen half of these names since the last time we lost.

Welcome back guys! How about you post something after a victory as well for a change!

Pathetic!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - these things happen in football im afraid, thats what makes the game so interesting..

28 Nov 2015 20:20:47
Couldn't agree more aflm absolute losers IMO like you say only comment on here lately when we lose pathetic is to good a word for them.

28 Nov 2015 18:03:04
Sick to death of being an everton fan with 3 points for a win now a draw is like a defeat 2 0 up against Bournemouth and to draw 3 3 is just pathetic the players we have are good enough so it must be down to bad management and team tactics RB has to go for the club to move forward.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

28 Nov 2015 18:21:36
Skylark: did you mean RB (Ross Barkley) or RM (Roberto Martinez) - or both and a few others as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 18:22:33
Yes RM messed up but the way the players let them walk the ball past everyone was a joke. Mess up all round, as is typical Everton.

Been a fan for over 30 years and a regular reader on here for a while but this is my first post. It frustrates me like mad the over the top reactions to small setbacks people have! We drew, away from home in the premiership and we sit seventh in the table. For my 30 years that's no reason to cry! A few years ago I'd be chuffed with that. We have a young team with tons of potential who won't win every game. We'll win again I'm sure and we'll lose some we should win but I can live with that as long as they learn and grow from it. Better a young team growing than the rubbish of the 90's and 00's when I had no hope. Rant over now. Thanks.

{Ed025's Note - good post that indio, you need to post more often mate..

28 Nov 2015 17:07:47
Everton football you are kidding yourselves when you cannot beat Bournemouth. That second half was disgraceful and the team should be ashamed of themselves. Kone was swanning around like a fairy and Barkley couldn''t hit the side of a barn. Martinez your tactics today must be questioned. One very angry Everton supporter.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

28 Nov 2015 17:20:11
Totally agree! Dreadful second half. To make matters worse, I bet on a football match for the very first time after paddy power offered 8/1 of a victory. had to be worth a fiver! you can imagine my mood in the 97th minute! Ahgrhhh!

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 17:22:13
Couldn't agree more mate. Awful, embarrassing, disgraceful, shameful and more. We deserved nothing after that. We thought we'd won after the first 45 and we didn't play well then either. Every single player plus the management team have failed the club today. Top 4? Laughable.

28 Nov 2015 17:25:02
Oh, and the pitch invasion was an embarrassment too.

28 Nov 2015 20:27:08
Like I said in above post painful reading this page today.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it was always going to be a bit sticky after throwing away a 2 goal lead coby, it just shows the level of expectancy when people moan after an away draw, tactically it was a bit naive but it does keep you on the edge of your seat mate..

28 Nov 2015 21:03:05
Very good season so far ed IMO I'm disappointed by lost points today also but to keep attacking club and manager over every silly little thing as some do is over the top for me I'm still confident of a very good season and the fact that Martinez will bring us success :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i hope your right coby, i agree some posts do go over the top at times but that happens with all teams mate..its called passion..

28 Nov 2015 21:47:14
I disagree Ed it's nothing to do with passion just immature, childishness!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its wanting to win so much that when you don,t you look for a reason to lash out...well thats what my psychiatrist said.. :)

28 Nov 2015 22:19:00
Passion is believing ed good times ahead must be blind if ye all can't see it :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think we are doing just fine coby..

28 Nov 2015 17:07:10
Well if ever a draw felt like a loss that's it grap the lead in injury time and still can't hold on to it have we even won two games on the bounce this season.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Nov 2015 17:04:12
Surely Martinez has to go now. 2-0 against one of the lowest scoring teams in the league and can't close it out. The defence is all over the place which has got to be down to him.
I am sick of his poor decision making costing us points. You could see when McCarthy went off we needed someone who could tackle but he brings on cleverley. Then to rub it in he brings on Lennon instead of mirralas. I have no idea what mirralas has to do for game time. He would play mcgeady before him I think.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

28 Nov 2015 17:13:28
If that's how you react when we draw away from home then I'd hate to see a post from you when we lose! Get a grip mate, we have lost against the teams you would expect to be fighting for top four so far. Not RM's biggest fan but to call for his head after todays game is nothing short of pathetic.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 17:17:19
Hahahahahaha get a grip.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 17:57:17
Agreed spudv! Some people think we should win every single game. I wish that was true but in reality it's far from the truth.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 18:34:10
NBTB: I don't expect us to win every match, but I do expect our players - individually and as a team - to give of their best. I also expect the manager to modify the formation and tactics as the match-situation dictates and get the players to "up their game" and make effective substitutions (especially if the selected starting lineup is clearly not playing well) .
Winning your home games and drawing your away games is supposedly title-winning form (or at least Champions League qualifying form! ) , so our latest four results are good in that respect - I guess :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Nov 2015 11:25:52
I don't think our players wanted to loose the lead Cowpat. You make it sound like they wanted to throw the game. Martinez like everyone prob couldn't see us losing points at half time. I'm sure at that stage no one could of predicted what the second half brought.

If I was Martinez I'd be giving the whole team a right bollo**ing after the game. God knows they deserved it.

Cowpat you gave a sermon in an earlier post about Del boy future that we should not be fretting about it and should enjoy the football he brings. I commented on Del boy's future just for banter. Was not fretting or worrying at all for the record.

Seems to me your fretting at the moment. You also mentioned in the same post about people commenting on BK health. The only post that I wrote on that was that I don't think we should be speculating on such things.

No one was worrying or fretting so I can't see where you were coming from with that.

Seems like you should sit back and enjoy the football. Bournemouth got a draw fair and square. Yes we had the game won and lost 2 points. Yes we were brutal in the second half. But its one game out of 38. Wouldn't be making too much of it.

It will happen again. What will also happen again is us winning games 3 or 4 nil. Seems to be the Martinez way. Plenty more of that to come imo. Have to learn to enjoy the ride!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 16:59:06
That second half was one of the worst I've seen Everton play!
Kone and Barkley were particularly awful.

Well done Bournemouth!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

28 Nov 2015 17:08:55
That's what being an Evertonian feels like summed up in one game. Hopes sky high going into game, 2 nil up and you start looking at the table to see where we stand. Defend and you think we will be alright as long as we don't concede one. We hang on, concede and you just know the second is coming, You feel down, dejected and worry you might lose. From nowhere your on top of the world again with 95 minutes gone, the other team shattered after their great come back and surely surely that's the 3 points. no no no, this is Everton.98 minutes and you concede and if ever a draw feels like a defeat this is it. I like Bournemouth and Eddie Howe but I love Everton and this is why we don't win anything! seriously annoyed.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 17:10:54
If we play like that in the cup tie on Tuesday - especially defensively and are as casual in our attacking play (wasting chances) - then we will leave that match well beaten, demoralised and with our tails between our legs.
Credit to Bournemouth - they gave it a go and never gave up. Conceding three second half goals to a side that hasn't scored many this season says it all about us.
I suppose it was good that we scored from a set piece (Funes Mori header from a corner) , but performances and results like this just show how limited our hopes and expectations really should be. I wonder what RM will say - and I wonder which players he'll select for Tuesday.
What a day - wet, windy and woeful!

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Nov 2015 16:50:12
Why are we incapable of holding on to leads? 2-0 lead is not comfortable so sitting back only leads to this. Typical Everton.

Cant argue with the result Bournemouth battered us in the second half probably should ave won . Its been said on here before Martinez doesn't seem to have the tactical ability to sort things out when we r clearly under a lot of pressure and always seems to use his subs incorrectly. Kone was poor today especially in the second half and still martinez persists with him no wonder Mirallas wants away and as for cleverly I was not sure he was on the pitch and then he brings Gibson on and really causes confusion the team were already all over the place at that stage. Its games like that that will come back to kick us in the behind in r hunt for top 4 more like top 10 spurs beat bournemouth 1-5.Sorry but no way should u concede after scoring in the 95th min no no no Sort the defence please and again Howard never looks like making a save to win us a game de gea is constantly savin utd ahhhhhhhhhh.
