Can someone explain what prices frozen for junior season tickets for next season means {Ed001's Note - it means they are the same as this season.}

Having a bit of banter with me red nose mate..... Help me out blues. Liverpool and Everton team mixed. He thinks only 1 player from Everton would get in the Liverpool team 9won a trophy haven't they so there world beaters now) He's having a laugh !
I think in all honestly maybe 3 players from Liverpool would get in our team, 4 at the most.
Howard
Johnson
Jagielka
Heitinga
Baines
Drenthe
Fellaini
Gerrard
Pienaar
Suarez
Jelavic ( in know we haven't saw much but i'd have him over Carroll any day)
That's 3 Liverpool players, maybe 4 because the goalkeeper is debatable I think Reina is a great keeper but so is Howard so that's 50/50..... i would like to even hear ed001 view on this because i don't think he is biased. Honest opinion's ??
MikeTheBlue {Ed025's Note - you dont think ED01 is biased???....hes a red mike....that makes him biased....reina would get in...and gerrard, johnson is a no no, and suarez a maybe..

Believable3 Unbelievable5

I would have:
Howard
Kelly. Hietinga. Jags. Baines
Drenthe. Fellani. Pienaar
Barkley. Suarez.
Jelavic
Blue kaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i know he is a red that's why i would like his view. Johnson ahead of Hibbert and Neville and Gerrard and Suarez and like you and myself said Reina is probably the 4th but apart from that no chance my mate all of sudden think's his team are world beaters and reckons only Baines and that's it ha ha !! Come on ed001 where's your honest opinion ?? {Ed001's Note - for me I would have to have Baines in, he has been the best left back in the Prem over the last couple of seasons. Agger and Skrtel have been superb, but so are Jagielka and Hietinga, I would go for Agger and Skrtel because they are better on the ball and seem to get more goals. But it is a tough choice! Right back is the toughie, for me Kelly is the future, but Hibbert is probably a tiny bit ahead for now, Johnson is awful and nowhere near good enough for me. Midfield would be Lucas (if fit) ahead of anyone for me, he has been superb with a wonderful attitude to the game. But, as he is out, much as I don't like him Fellaini deep, with Barkley, Pienaar, Gerrard and Adam, Suarez up top. That was tough!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lose johnson. put Kuyt in there somewhere. I agree with the howard / Reina situation. suarez defo if he could stop diving, skirtl in the "squad" and who wouldn't want Gerrard (2-4 years ago & in form)
NO Carrol, NO Downing, No Cahrigger,

Oh and Defo Alonso before he saw sense and jumped ship.

Gods Doctor

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take Gibson before Steeeeeeveeeey Geeeeeeee as his shots are either on target or there abouts. Where as Gerard's are pretty awful ATM . I wouldn't have Suarez anywhere near our side out of principle. I would have carrager on for the last 5 mins so that he could realise a life long ambition. Would still charge him for a Snr ticket though.

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want that burnt earred, horse tooth, cheat anywhere near our great club? He was rolling about in agony AGAIN against Cardiff. He needs another ban methinks! BlueTone

Agree0 Disagree0

Tough one your mate is just overly biased or has a lack of knowledge in football, without being biased i would have
Reina
Hibbert
Agger
Jagielka
Baines
Bellamy
Gerrard
Fellaini
Pienarr
Barkley
Suarez {Ed001's Note - dammit I forgot Bellamy! He would have to be first name in for me after his performances this season, he has been an absolute revelation and by far and away Liverpool's best player every time he has played.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't have johnson i think he's very hot/cold hibbert gets his critics but is more consistent for me howard/reina..... reina probably edges that
The centre backs is debatable jags and heitinga are solid but so are agger and skrtyl, baines every time no question..... midfield fellaini and gerrard wings pienaar and maybe kuyt for his work rate and upfront if it was 4-4-2 id have suarez and jelavic or suarez and a fit and in form cahill

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool fan here, i'm not biased and don't start with the why are you on a page ! I just heard about this thread so thought i would join in. Honest opinion of a red/blue 11;
GK. Reina
RB. Kelly
CB. Skrtyl
CB. Jagielka
LB. Baines
DM. Lucas
DM. Fellaini
AM. Gerrard
RW. Bellamy
CF. Suarez
LW. Pienaar

Honest opinion 6 from Liverpool.... 5 from Everton
JohnnyA LFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I think reina, johnson, gerrard and suarez would get in our side thats it for me like.
no one mentioning Distin he is a beast and in my opinion better than Jagielka (this season anyway) midfield Pienaar, Fellaini and Barkley are better than Adam, Downing and Henderson it's only upfront we have problems but if Jelavic comes good there wouldn't be mucg too choose from heres what i think
reina
johnson heitinga distin baines
bellamy fellaini barkley pienaar
gerrard
suarez

Agree0 Disagree0

For me i would have all the Liverpool team least they can get off there back and achieve something. Everton are doing nothing and who is responsible for this..The players

Agree0 Disagree0

Great post to egt us all involved - blues and reds. I am obviously a blue but have to be honest and avoid being bias!

For me Reina is the best GK in the prem soooo...

Reina, Hibbert, Jags, Agger, Baines, Royston, Pienaar, Fellaini, Gerrard, Bellamy and Suarez (dirty cheating rat!)

I am sure in a season or two Barkley will replace Gerrard but for now it is just potential.

COYB!
Maiden

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton...doing nothing? Whereas Liverpool spend an absolute fortune and are still only just above us in the league and struggle in a final against a team from the second tier!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt want any red s**te just take there luck never seen a team miss 1st two penaltes and go on to win only they could get away with it

Agree0 Disagree0

You ride your own luck bluenoses. You failed in 2009 simple as.

Agree0 Disagree0

This team is based entirely on this season's performances, although i'm including Lucas despite the fact that he is injured because before the injury he was performing to an almost world class ability this season and has been nothing but consistent for the past 2 years.

For me it would be..

Reina/Howard.

Hibbert. Skrtel. Heitinga. Baines.

Lucas. Fellaini.

Gerrard.

Bellamy. Pienaar.
Suarez.

..That for me is the best we can provide.

The reason why I could'nt decide between both goalkeepers is because season after season (including this one inparticular obviously) they have been the two most consistent goalkeepers in the premiership and both fully deserve that spot in my eyes (if anybody wants to help me out and give reasons why they would choose differently please feel free).

Another position I had difficulty choosing was RB, even though Hibbert is'nt the most brilliant of RB's I believe his performances have been good enough to see off the competition (from Kelly inparticular). Even though Kelly will no doubt be a better player than Hibbert in the near future I think he's still a bit young and naive to be included, also due to Hibbert's age and experience I think he has better decision making and can read the game a little better.

Every other choice I made simply doesn't need a reason for choice, comes down to completely to individual quality and consistency this season.

ToffeeJack.

Never should Suarez me put in a everton shirt he's a cheat and would ruin our reputation for being an old fashioned prober football club

I'm a Hearts supporters and I always wonder David Moyes hasn't (apparently) been the target of one of the big teams. He does a marvellous job every season. Any ideas why he's not approached?

Jambo

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Moyes is at a big club now..Not many bigger teams than Everton in the premiership..behind Man Utd Liverpool and Arsenal but bigger than Chelsea Man City and Villa.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a brilliant manager, but very niave in the choice of his team, if he needs a striker, he will make it apparent with negative tactics, most big clubs like positive, free-flowing football and i'm not sure he brings that {Ed025's Note - david does a great job at domestic level, im sure if given the chance at the likes of arsenal, man utd, chelsea, or man city, he would do well, but these teams want managers with european experience, and at the moment he cant offer that, as the poster above says...he can sometimes be naive in his choice of tactics, im not saying that he cant step up to the mark, if given a hefty war chest, but it would be a bit of a gamble..

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes is already at a big club for me, grated a sleeping giant you could say but a big club anyway.
If he had money, people say it would be a gamble but for me he would be brilliant with money when he has had it he has spent brilliantly cahill, baines, jagielka, arteta, fellaini, pienaar, top players and what did all them cost 30 million all together ?
I agree i do think he is sometimes naive with his tactics and would rather "not lose" but that's mainly down to what is available on his bench etc.
I am a arsenal fan and personally wenger is a legend but he is reluctant to move with the times, we are currently in a transitional period and re-building again and if wenger was too go and moyes was in charge of us and giving 100 million i would actually be more confident with him spending it than some foreigner
I think he is a great manager who actually gets undermined by people saying everton constantly over achieve or punch above there weight, everton are a great club with some handy players and a top manager they should be rightly so in and around the top 8 or top 6 where you have been for around 6 years now. I like everton and would love them to win a trophy mainly for Moyes 10 years service is fantastic and everton do it the "proper" way, too many teams spending 100's of millions just to win a trophy or get near the top 4
good luck for the rest of the season
ps. thanks for arteta ;)
mark the gooner75 {Ed025's Note - cheers mark..

Agree0 Disagree0

Firstly Quite Right David Moyes is at a Big Club, we might not have the finances of the other clubs, but make no mistake we are a Big Clu.
Secondly David Moyes is tipped to replace SAF whenever he retires,
Thirdly David Moyes has achieved near miracles on a shoestring budget, with which he qualified for the champions league, and UEFA/Europa League.
Naive or poor tactics don't get you there!

Fourthly Given a decent budget he will achieve even more.

Thanks Mark

We must have posted at the same time earlier. I've been out and just logged back in and just read your message.

Good luck for the rest of the season apart from against us.

Big C

Agree0 Disagree0

He as been aproached ie villa but is at a club were he enjoys loyaty both ways would any one walk away from barkley and several other young players coming through

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure Moyes would be any better with a big budget. Big money signings havent been a great success overall but is a genius at picking players from lower leagues with potential

Agree0 Disagree0

Coz he look's like Gollam! and frighten all the oversea player's! that's why!

Bit annoyed that the premier league decision to re-arrange the derby for march 13th.
We are going to have spurs on the saturday, the kopites on tuesday and then the quarter final against sunderland on the saturday ! Good luck blues, going to be a tough 3 games in 7 days that !

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I know it's the derby, but the two home games are the important fixtures in my mind.

Agree0 Disagree0

Excuses you bluenoses are laughable..When did you last win at Anfield?

Agree0 Disagree0

We're the laughable ones? you cheated your way through the last derby and your on the everton site, and just to make it clear, we're p*ssed off because we have to play 2 tough games just 4 days before the fa cup quater final (wich is a much more important game than the liverpool match)

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool play 3 big games in a week too whats the problem? 1 cup in the cabinet 1 to come J4T96

Agree0 Disagree0

Do one kopites were not interested in the derby game its the quarter final that's more important

Agree0 Disagree0

111 million spent in 18 months to win the micky mouse cup you must be sooo proud!!

Kurajan

Agree0 Disagree0

We have never lost at anfield in fa cup your not unbeatable your arrogance is back after scraping past a2 division side

Agree0 Disagree0

You's are not playing at Anfield in the F.A. Cup?

Just heard that our "beloved" BK is busy preparing for a one off return to Corrie! Busy selling the club then.....

GMBUK

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Really! is this the best you can do a one off appearance in corrie so he's not busy selling the club! he isn't the only one involved in the process and did you not see the earlier post about us not even being in the top ten clubs in debt in prem people need to get of his back a bit and be thankful we are not rangers or portsmouth yes we all know we need investment or a takeover but maybe bill's going the right way about it.....grbefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said GRB, absolutely spot on fella, must be blue union trying to muster up some support and trying to hassle BK again
