Everton wont be selling Anichebe, They are planning a double swoop of Blackpool for Phillips and Ince, Anichebe and 6million. And yes i know they have said Ince is not for Sale at any price but this deal look likely on deadline day, Everton might let them take ince back on loan till January

How are we not gonna sell Anichebe but sell him and 6 million for Ince and Phillips, to sell or not to sell that is the question

inter milan are offloading ageing players and the rumour i heard is defender Cristian Chivu could be on his way to the premier league. i have no idea which clubs are interested but could we be in for him if its true hes moving? i suspect qpr will be doing all they can to get him, they seem to sign anyone and everyone, but i think he could be a really good asset for us, even though hes wrong side of 30.

Could get shot down for this, but. I want Wayne back. I don't care about anything in the past, he belongs here. What more does he want to do at Utd? He won the league, champs league, established himself as a great player. He doesn't love Utd. He's always falling out with Fergie, he's handed in a transfer request before. Things are looking bad for him now there. When we beat them last Monday, he looked lost. I thought he looked like he missed this place. He still loves our club and hes a blue at heart. He left for better things but as fans I think we should just accept that and do everything we can to make his next move a move back home to Everton. Even if he just plays out his contract at Utd, he belongs here. I hate fact we boo him. We got £30m for him. That money was huge for us at the time. We owe him a lot. He has disrespected us before but he is Wayne, we've all seen what he can be like when something rubs him up wrong way. Forgive, forget, lets all make lurve together.

I'm not sure mate. He does still find the net but even Anichebe would get 10+ at United! For me Rooney has been going down hill for the last 12 months or so.
He loves going out on the lash, he smokes, and he is constantly out and about with his missus doesn't seem 100% committed anymore.
He hasn't looked sharp or fit for a full 90 minutes for a long time, he would probably have a heart attack playing and training with Moyes demands!
Not for me, agree with Degsy aswell if someone said to me " Rooney, Jelavic who starts?" I would have to say Jelavic!

Wouldn't worry about us getting Adam. The 5m is debatable but we wouldn't pay him anywhere near the 60k he's on at Liverpool so it's a non starter... I think Villa will panic buy after their poor start..

Now reporting Niang has agreed a deal to sign with ac Milan we truly have missed out on him I'm afraid I tried to keep optimism we could get him but that's all gone now Shame really hes made a foolish choice in my book yes Milan are a good side but the Italian league is bull and he won't get enough game time or a chance to improve his growth

I disagree, he would't have gotten much game time here either. We have Jelavic, Naismith, Mirallas, Vellios and Anichebe who can all play as a striker, plus we are supposedly looking to sign more strikers with Gouffran, Russel and Doyle being linked with the club.

Dont ever think we have missed out Tim, it's his loss not ours, there are thousands of players like him out there but only one Everton mate.

I posted second aflm78. He most likely wouldn't get much game time here. Jelavic is a definate starter and we have alot of others who can play as a striker. We are also supposedly looking at a lot of strikers, or players who can play there, and you have to remember, he's only 17 years old. Its the same with Barkley, he's very talented, but that doesn't mean he'll get plenty of game time. If he signed with us, he'd be playing alot with the u18's and reserves.

Thanks for answering back and for being so reasonable too! Most people on here go nuts when questioned in any way! And I have to say I dont necessarily disagree with any of what you said in your 2nd post.

But I do wonder if DM would be willing to spend perhaps a third of his remaining budget on someone who would not feature in the first team this year. I'm just not sure we can afford that luxury at Everton... Still doesnt look like happening now so lets just hope we can do some good business before Friday..

Reports over here in Ireland on TV3 news just after 10 am that we made an improved bud for kevin Doyle last night in the region of 9 million euro, no idea whether it's true or not but it was the sports headline on the news!

Please Moyes no hes rubbishe all this deal will do is hinder the progress of our young players how is Vellios supposed to develop when we sign donkeys like Doyle dont get me wrong if we sign him I will support him but I just dont feel this deal is right for us at all,especially at that price a couple of million at the most is what hes worth.

If we got doyle for 3 million or so i personally would be quite happy. i think he is a good player and a hard worker. i think he would do a lot better in a better side than wolves. loan vellios to a lower premier league team or a championship team to truly see if he has what it takes to consistently play well. so far i haven't seen enough from vellios to show me that he is going to be a good goalscorer. fingers crossed he will be for us

The good thing is that DM starts every competition with the view of winning it. The league is no exception.

The bad thing is whilst we have proven in the past that we can beet any English club on our day, we have never been able to show it over an entire season.

Ok we have started well and look very good but we need to achieve individual targets starting with the cup match tomorrow

I personally will be happy with anything 5th upwards and above Brenda's team into the bargain.

Don't think many of us think we can win the league. But 4th place, why not? If not that then 5th/6th, challenge for cups, I'm happy with that. I do miss Europe. Even the Europa league, really enjoyed having a Thursday night match to look forward to.

Yes. Can't fault our back 4, Howards basics are poor (punches to much) but great shot stopper. Only fault in mid is a rm and we will get one and cannot fault our strikers aether but we need back ups for the bench and then if we make them improvements I feel we have a really good chance

Just being realistic lads but we are sounding like liverpool weve won 2 games and were talking about winning the league,it aint gonna happen be happy with top 6 and top 4 at a push with no injuries Moyes needs to get about 3 more bodies in before the window closes to add more depth to our wafer thin squad.

Look we can win the league if moyes managers the team right and we stay fit for ninety percent of the year anything is possible we certainly have the confidence to do it

In the same boat myself, and thought the same thing, but if the excitement did kill me off I would go out a very happy blue!

That's just not true pal. Ince has always been on the list....Also, Ince has had more than two excellent games.

Not really when people were talking about Phillips 1-2?months ago and in the past few weeks several people saud they would prefers ince as he is a more cleverer player who creates more chances and is a busier player with more going for him doesn't mean Phillips is a bad player but ince is of better quality and is fir sure a better prospect

just watched goufrann on you tube,looks like he can finish if the rumoured price is correct 1.5m he's got to be worth a gamble and i'd rather him than doyle,and please dont let the adams rumours be true, he had half a good season, we could do so much better than him, get manny fernandes back, n'zonzi, or mcarthy at wigan i'd even try that wanyama at celtic just not adam!

Would be another cracking signing by Moyes especially for around the 1.5-2mil due to his contract running down. Would again offer us a wealth of versatility for Bordeaux mainly used asa right winger/striker.

Add him, a defensive midfielder and a back up to Jelavic, and our squad is looking very strong for the season.
