Now I don't want moyes to leave but if he did who would you like for me I would take Redknapp yes qpr have just got relegated but to be honest they were gone before he got there they were only given hope because he took over any one else that was brought in people would of said building for next season, now forget if you don't like him or not that's irrelevant the man is a great manager who let's not forget he built that spurs side from nothing and if I remember they nearly offloaded bale as he was not progressing Redknapp took over took them from bottom of table to top 4 made bale into one of the best in world found modric, brought out the best in adeybour again and to add to that yes he has been crap for spurs this year and he pinched a few players that were on our radar, really hope moyes stays but if he does go think what Redknapp can do with our current players like mirralas and Barkley, everyone keeps sayingmartinez and laudrup but they are not going to take us further they aim to stay in league not enough for us but please stay moyes and someone please buy us as moyes can do for us what ferguson done for utd

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You rate Redknapp over Laudrup? That's laughable.

Agree0 Disagree0

We would never even attempt to go for that dodgy pug faced little man. Moyes to stay

Rednkapp without money just does not happen. If we have the money then Moyes will stay.

Agree0 Disagree0

Redknapp? you must be joking.
Andy The Chef

Agree0 Disagree0

You joking what has laudrup done yes won cup with Swansea and improved them a bit, let's not forget Redknapp is a man motivator that plays attacking football the one 99% of the country we wanted as England manager not forgetting the players he brought through and made them into the players they are: Ferdinand, joe cole, lampard, bale, carrick, modric and since leaving arsenal years ago is the only man to get anything out of adeybour there seems to be something against him when it comes to everton fans or is it just because he poached players that we were after anyone who knows about football will say Harry is a top manager let's not forget we pinched a young lad from under his nose George green so swings and roundabouts but to say laudrup is a better manager is beyond me {Ed025's Note - im not a big fan of plastic harry..

Agree0 Disagree0

Redknapp??? WTF drugs are you on?

Agree0 Disagree0

Redknapp is a crook. I don't want him anywhere near our club. The Moyseiah is the only one for job! Imo

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you on the glue or mushrooms? 'Arry Redknapp, my arse!

Derby next Sunday then 5pts clear with 3 to play yes we need to win but we always need to win the derby no matter what we are playing for and boy we must be due to beat them soon previous games we have not turned up but need to show them who are the better side this season no Suarez Is a plus but having watched coutinho wow must admit he is top player who ran the show against Newcastle but that was the worst performance I have seen from any side this season he will be the danger man has is passing is top class I would play felleni in cm again to make sure he does not get any room to make those passes my team to play them

Howard

Coleman. Jagielka. Distin. Baines

Osman Felleni

Mirralas. Barkley. Pienaar.

Anichibe

Gibson if fit but don't think he will be:

What does everyone else think the team should be not what it will be as I like to see what formation and line up fans would pick

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Knowing Moyes it'll be:

Howard
Coleman Distin Jagielka Baines
Mirallas Osman Fellaini Pienaar
Anichebe Jelavic

Is it me or are the rules for Europa league qualification mad Wigan who are fighting for survival and can get relegated will be in Europe weather they win cup or not I just think that is rubbish just think if Swansea would of finished 5th potentially they could of had 2 teams playing European football when they are in the championship and league 2 which is England's bottom tier Bradford the whole thing is a farce they need to look at these rules surely as a team like us who will has pushed champions league all season will probably miss out on Europe altogether and a team that have won very few games are in how does that work out right answers and logic please Mr Blatter your a joke

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe wigan won't be able to afford europe and they'll give up their spot

Agree0 Disagree0

Teams are rewarded for doing well in probably thr hardest domestic xups in the world, we only have are selves to blame for not making the final, to be honest I don't why so many poeple are hung up on getting in the europa, the competion is a joke, strecthing are thin squad across europe for no extra money attracting no better players to be battered when 3rd place champions league teams jump in to give the competion some validity, its not worth it

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not a joke. The rules are there at the beginning of the season and are the same for everybody. Credit must go Wigan and Swansea for doing something we couldn't.
Had we beat Wigan we'd more than likely have got to the final and would be playing City and would have had a great chance of winning. We had the easiest draw we're ever likely to get and we blew it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes it is a joke mate we want to see our best teams play in Europe not a bottom of a table side like Wigan

Agree0 Disagree0

But Swansea and Wigan couldn't finish in the top 6 but we can lol. League positions are more important than what you do in some Micky mouse cups. To me that dosent really prove anything

Agree0 Disagree0

League positions are more important than what you do in Micky Mouse cups? Tell that to UEFA. I don't make up the rules but they're there for a reason.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing against Wigan and Swansea rules are there and they did it but don't see the logic put it this way they would never have the cup winners playing in champ league would they and you know why cause they want the biggest clubs playing in it why not have the top 2 and cup winners into champ league can you imagine a 4 tier side playing in it, and on money side are you mad what about tv money and extra home match revenue especially when we have are problems any business that are not doing well always look to provide new avenues for revenue just waiting for a billionaire to come along is wishfully thinking if you want to sell something you have to market the product same goes for football if we are playing in Europe we are marketing are selves and more people will invest in us so yes it may be a rubbish competition but to anyone who says not to bothered what were your ambitions for this season mine was a cup and get in Europe but if yours was champ league get your head out the sand and wake up boy

Agree0 Disagree0

This post is very "bitter", Wigan and Swansea deserve the european spots, because they are the rules, and if the boot was on the other foot we wouldn't be complaining. I for one will be getting behind them. Good luck to them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I say fair play to them for getting there by the rules that are currently in place. But think the current rule is a poor one: the losing FA Cup finalist gets a place. I think the winner should always get a place but if that team has already qualified, then 6th place should get it. Carling cup fully deserves its spot, had Bradford won it I think it would have been a great story for a League 2 side to be in there. Would be an inspiration to any team outside the Prem.

In my opinion if we had this team next season we would almost certainly get Champions League or at least Europa League:

Howard

Coleman Jagielka Dragovic Baines

Mirallas Gibson Fer Pienaar

Honda
Negredo

Subs:

McCarthy
Distin
Oviedo
Barkley
Osman
Anichebe
Jelavić

Ins:

Dragovic (FC Basel) - £5m
Fer (FC Twente) - £8m
Honda (CSKA Moscow) - £3m
Negredo (Sevilla) - £12m
McCarthy (Reading) - £2m

Outs:

Fellaini - £25m
Heitinga - £4m
Mucha - £1m

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree, except we'll need a back up keeper somewhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, mistook McCarthy the keeper from Reading for the wigan midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

God, McCarthy has one good game against the reds and all of a sudden he's going to be the next big thing, he's not even that good.

Mucha will go on a free if he doesn't sign a new contract, out of contract this summer.

Moyes has said he wants Fellaini to stay. IMO we need to sell Fellaini to have any real funds to invest in the squad. Showed when Fellaini was out he was not missed that much, we beat Stoke and drew away to Spurs. Would get rid of Fellaini to bring in Honda, Fer, and Diame.

Dero. {Ed025's Note - i know what your saying dero, but i would be happy if he stayed, he is a quality player and brings a lot to the table..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ideally we get funds from tv money and maybe Heitinga, then you can keep Fellaini and sign a Honda or a Fer. Bet you it doesn't happen though!

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can keep felliani and keep playing in CM then we only need to buy a backup CM and not spend loads on cms. I think our priority is a quality striker who can change a game on his own, for barkley to play off

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does everyone keep writing Fellaini? In my opinion he is a champions league player and probably are most valuable assett. I don't doubt that if he hadn't been in our side this year we would not be 6th in the league. On his day he can dominate a game against any oposition. We don't know when we are well off.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 08:11:24
I hope jelavic starts against the red's he WILL do himself justice when he first came for 5. 5 everybody was talking like he would be 20 goals per season player he is but he is going through a spell (better than torres) 8 goals in 39 Appearances so what he is going through a spell and will come back COYB PK BLUE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I really feel sorry for the bloke. The transformation he's undergone is astonishing. He can barely stand up let alone run and shoot. If he were a horse he'd have been put down by now.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a proper rest and preseason in the summer might make all the difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 11:50:13
Disagree completely, I do feel sorry for him but he is finished, one season wonder same as Pappis Cisse, he can't finish and it showed yesterday, if he was one on one with the keeper 10 times he wouldn't score once, a preseason rest and all that stuff won't sort out the problem which is 1. He can't finish, 2. He is weak, 3. He has no pace, 4. He lacks confidence.

COYB! {Ed025's Note - i bet you were not saying that last season phil?, there is no doubt the guy has ability, he just needs to up his game a bit..

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no doubt the lad can finish, but his all-round game isn't up to the required standard of the PL. His touch is abysmal, most of his passes are wayward and he doesn't appear to know the off-side rule. He falls over half the time he gets the ball and/or dives like a big girl's blouse. I think we're seeing the real Jelavic now, unfortunately. Time to ship him out.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 13:16:11
He has no ability, there is no such thing as confidence as a striker, yes I included it in my last post but that was from a neutral point of view as people believe in that stuff, Van Persie went 8 games without a goal, no doubt he had no confidence then look what happened vs Villa. confidence does not affect strikers, it should come naturally to them, Torres does not lack confidence he's just awful, same with Cisse and Jelavic.

COYB!

Agree0 Disagree0

Second season syndrome he will be back to his best next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil. Are you feeling Ok?

Of course he has ability. Last season he was all we talked about. this season he is having a bad time. If you are down in self belief then that will affect your ability to score. And this is clearly what jelavic suffering from.

We keep blaming Moyes for ruining good strikers, we need to be careful we don't right them off too quickly ourselves.

Back our boys

Toffee ace.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cisse is different: he was great for a couple of seasons in the bundesliga before, and he only suffered because he was shifted out wide with Ba central. It's undeniable that playing in Euros can have a big effect on a player, David Silva has been really affected by it this year. If Jelavic repeats this year next season, by all means say he's rubbish and want him to leave. He deserves next season though, and I wouldn't be surprised if next season is a good one for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is my first post lads. Tbh I think Baines is useless too. And that Fellaini bloke, how we could pay that money for him I'll never know. In fact, we have never had any players worth noting. Our title winning sides were just average and very lucky. Players like Reid, Sharp, Southall. Dunno how they even got in the side.

PhilNoClue

Agree0 Disagree0

Philtheblue you are joking right? no ability? he's a croatian international striker for gods sake!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 20:54:38
Philnoclue well done mate, although you did have to overexagerate to argue though, I never said anything about any of the lads you listed so just because I don't think Jelavic is good means I think all those players were awful? Or are you really comparing Jelavic to the likes of Sharpie?, cheer up mate you will have a clue one day, just not atm.
And Croatian international? So is Ivica Olic, doesn't prove anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on about Barkley too. The guys getting on and has had more than enough time to get over the horrific injury that kept him out for a year. I'd take even less than the 3 mill you quoted. Not worth half that. It's not like he's represented England at all youth levels or anything. If only we still had James Vaughan. He would have solved all our problems.

PhilNoClue

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the way poeple assume "once he scores he will get his form back" I heard hanson say that about torres in 2010 on motd, still waitin, av seen him miss the ball compeletly a few times or as he's shooing he ends up on the deck its embarassing

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2013 13:00:27
PhilNoClue get a life mate, you may think your funny taking the p*ss and making stuff up for no apparant reason, but its not funny to be honest, what is funny is that you have acctually wasted time thinking about rubbish to make up and just because he's represented England youth doesn't mean much, even Connor Wickham has done that mate, grow up.

COYB!

It's hard to respond when I basically agree with everything you say. But that's because I have no clue what I'm on about.

Here's the team to beat the reds next weekend! I hope Moyes can see how well it's worked so far against Arsenal and the last 20min last night.

Howard
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Mirallas Fellaini Osman Pienaar
Barkley
Anichebe

Hard fought 1-2 victory to the blues!

AussieBlue {Ed025's Note - it will be hard fought aussie, but we have to play to our strengths to get a result, if we show them too much respect, we will be trouble..

ive heard a rumour that a buyer is close to buying everton the deal is still under raps because they don't won't it going out of hand. The investors are coming from the middle east and i'm told are worth around the same amount as Phillip green is £3. 3 billion with other investors likely to follow them ed have you heard anything? {Ed025's Note - see previous posts please..

Ed who would your top 5 realistic transfer targets be? Mine would be:
1) diame
2) Benteke
3) McCarthy
4) lescott
5) de Guzman {Ed025's Note - benteke, and de guzman would cost far too much, diame is a bit clumsy for me mate, but the other 2 i like..
